5. The Class 1-A Blazer Candidates

After a great uproar thanks to the arrival of the genius Salvia Volksky in the world of the Blazers, the disciples did not react any further to the students who could be said to be quite good at their current age. Unfortunately they are not so visible because of the achievements of Salvia Volksky.

"Edward Ghaetas" call Andre.

Edward immediately stood up from his stool with his chin raised high with a large haughty smile adorning his handsome face. It seemed that some disciples were waiting for this moment enthusiastically.

Not surprisingly, Edward was indeed a Blazer candidate who came from a noble family that was famous for its descendants of ice power. He is the one who is expected to be the strongest Blazer candidate in the force before Salvia's power is revealed.

The soul force detection crystal slowly emitted a bright whitish blue radiance, but it was not as bright as Salvia before. On top of the crystal is a projection screen showing the statistics.

"Woah, Edward is great!"

"While not as powerful as Salvia, the Ghaetas produce other amazing offspring!"

Most of the students cheered when they saw Edward's high stats for his age. Intelligence and specialization are worth five points, physical strength and agility score four points, while endurance and agility are worth two points.

Although in total Edward's statistics are still quite far from Salvia, at least in this class he occupies the second strongest position under Salvia. However, he seemed dissatisfied to know his weaker stats than Salvia.

He clicked his tongue before doing the same near the soul form detection crystal. After a few seconds, the crystal emits a fairly bright whitish blue light, then it looks like its Soul Arc is floating inside the crystal.

"Just like Salvia, huh? Job Wizard with the ability to manipulate ice," said Andre comments seeing the form of Soul Arc Edward.

"Sir Andre, don't equate me with Salvia. Salvia is able to manipulate snow, while I manipulate ice. It's obvious who's superior, isn't it?" Edward lifted his chin once more, this time filled with pride and high knowing his Soul Arc as expected.

True, there is a stark difference between the abilities of the two. Salvia's Soul Arc is a snowflake, but that doesn't mean their abilities are the same. At first glance it looks the same, but actually the Soul Arc is both very different.

"If you think it's right too. Ice was a solid element, while snow was not so usable to attack even though both were cold and freezing."

"So you could say that the strongest Blazer candidate in this class is Edward?"

"If the stats are higher, but if his abilities are weak, right?"

The disciples began to discuss comparing who was the strongest Blazer candidate in their class. Who is superior in battle? Is it Edward or Salvia?

When the discussion started to heat up, Andre calmed his students down, "Calm down you guys, now it's still time for the examination, you can discuss after it's over. There are still some who have yet to check the stats and Soul Arc."

Hearing Andre, the students calmed down. Andre invited Edward back to his stool before calling the student's name again, "Anna Kindheart."

Anna got up from the bench and immediately stepped to the front of the class excitedly. He did what his previous disciples did to the soul force detection crystal. After a few seconds the crystal emitted a bright red glow before the projector screen containing statistics emerged from the crystal

"Is this statistic not too balanced?"

"Is Anna certain to be the only opponent capable of rivaling Salvia's stats?"

"Seeing his balanced stats and leaning more towards intelligence, it was not impossible for him to surpass Salvia!"

The students again commented seeing the statistics of Anna who was able to match Salvia who was predicted as the best Blazer candidate in their generation. Andre was surprised when he saw Anna's statistics that far exceeded his estimates, but after examining his background further Andre felt this was natural.

"Kindheart family, huh? Again they gave birth to other geniuses," Andre said inwardly with a wry laugh.

After confirming the amount of stats, Anna continued her examination of her Soul Arc. The soul form-detecting crystal emitted a bright red light like before, then revealed Anna's Soul Arc form.

"Knuckle's Mage?! Job who is in the middle of the Warrior and Wizard category?! Impossible!"

"A genius would give birth to another genius, those words were suitable for the Kindheart family."

Anna's Soul Arc takes the form of a pair of fire-coated gloves, signifying her to have the chance to get a rare mixed Job. Pyro Monk, Knuckle Mage, Brawler Magician, and several Warrior and Wizard Job categories he can take with his Soul Arc abilities.

Given the high stats of his intelligence and high physical strength, it was not impossible that he could become a Warrior and Wizard at the same time. With stats as high as this Anna could fight in close, medium, and far distances.

Andre then lets Anna back on her bench after successfully calming her returnees thanks to the appearance of one of the rare Soul Arc among their class.

The examination of the soul force and Soul Arc of the next grade-1-A disciples went smoothly, though, no one made a big furore because no student was as high as the third strongest student in their class until now.

"Heru Hartanto," called Andre to look at the reddish-black-haired disciple as he muttered inwardly, "Didn't he make a fuss in the canteen just now?"

Andre seems surprised to see the figure of Heru who looks mediocre, but has a decent physical dexterity. Where did he know that? Of course from the action of Heru in the cafeteria before, where else?

Heru immediately got up from his stool, "Pray statistics and my Soul Arc is good," Heru whispered to Haikal before stepping forward to the front of the class.

Haikal himself only gave a smile accompanied by a big thumbs up. He actually does not need to worry because his best friend is quite talented in terms of physical and soul strength.

Heru then checked his stats first using the soul force detection crystal. There was no overreaction from the students at first, but the discussion exploded again but not as well as before.

"Axterity worth six points and physical strength worth five points. Although the other stats are average, you are quite talented in the physical field, Heru. Maybe your Job category can be ascertained Warrior." Andre patted Heru's shoulder hoping that this student would not be discouraged, but what was in Andre's shadow did not happen.

Heru's eye beads look teary wanted to shed tears. This made Andre confused, whether Heru felt disappointed or happy.

In his heart, Heru was eager to scream and cried with relief seeing his hard work so far bear sweet fruit, but he held back from not wanting to embarrass himself in front of the class.

Actually in the middle school years ago, Heru did not have soul statistics like this. This is due to his hard struggle with Haikal over the past few years. He was truly grateful to have gotten such a large soul statistic.

Not wanting to delay any longer, he went on to the next stage, namely the examination of the form of Soul Arc.

"Woah, Soul Arc with Job match empty-handed fighter!"

"Although not including rare, this Job is very easy to master and effective in close combat one-on-one."

It could be heard the comments of some students who praised Heru, but not a few who demonized the possibility of Jobs that he got in the future.

Because Job with the ability of bare hands is very often injured and considered barbaric in battle. That's why rarely anyone sees Job like Heru with a positive outlook.

On the other hand, Heru himself did not hear various comments made by his classmates. He just walked slowly while jumping up and down to his bench accompanied by a natural beaming.

"Hehehe, I'm great, right?" Heru asked puffing his chest full of pride and victory to Haikal.

"Just right away" said Haikal, smiling wryly at the progress of his best friend compared to the last time examined.

Then some students called Andre to come forward before finally Haikal's turn, "Haikal Alendra."

The jet-haired and black-eyed student immediately got up and advanced with excited steps impatiently wanting to know the extent of the results of his hard work.

Haikal brought his hands closer together on the soul force detection crystal. A few moments later he saw the statistics of his soul power that he had been waiting for.
