Jack could see Salvia's surprised look and understood her confusion, smiling for a moment before explaining, "While it doesn't look as close as a couple in general, the relationship between the two isn't something to be underestimated."

"One of them was injured for no apparent reason, then the other one would not hold back from searching and destroying the cause." Jack then glanced at the male Blazer candidates in the room with a flirtatious smile, "If you guys are after Verna, then I suggest giving up."

"By the way about Verna and Heru, can you tell me about Haikal's past, Jack?"

Salvia's sudden question invites various reactions from Blazer candidates who hear it, while Jack himself frowned feeling that Salvia's insensitivity to the surrounding situation was not a mere rumor.

Jack was silent for a moment thinking how he should answer Salvia's question because he was not the right person to explain it.

When he was thinking that an idea came to his mind and pointed towards the exit of the—or perhaps more precisely to someone who was secretly intending to leave the room, making all the attention on the figure.

"How about you just ask the guy directly?"

The figure that Jack pointed to and came to the attention of the entire room was petrified for a moment before turning his head and waving his hands with a wry smile on his lips, "Hi, are you okay, Salvia?"
