The city of Adele is divided into four main districts that are unidirectional and named after the direction of the winds. In this situation Adele is very vulnerable to attack from anywhere, but the most worrying route is indeed East Adele.
Adele is located in the middle of the eastern province of East Borneo, directly adjacent to the sea that separates Borneo and Sulawesi, the Sulawesi Strait. At first glance, Adele's position is good because it has direct access to the sea, but in present times the sea is a dangerous region.
Different from land or air that can still be observed, the depth of the sea is difficult to achieve by normal vision so it is difficult to see the danger that often suddenly strikes from the sea if without a Soul Arc capable of detection or similar equipment.
Not to mention the sea still holds a lot of mystery since the past, not many sea areas that have been traced by humans to make the sea as a nest that is very suitable for Aquatic Verg type, Aquatic type, especially if the Verg is large because it is easy to hide in the depths.
That was the reason why the district most vulnerable to the Verg attack was the Eastern District, then this was what Haikal and the others were aiming for.
"A pair of Verg Normal class at four o'clock! Four-legged Predator model, Invader type! Code name's Direwolf!" Cecil exclaimed loudly warning his companions as soon as his Jade Phoenix sight caught two large wolf-shaped Vergs running towards them.
Hearing Cecil's warning, the small group of six Blazer candidates immediately took the formation they had determined beforehand.
Haikal and Heru took the front row considering both were melee fighters, then behind them are Salvia and Verna who are ready to exert magic to help Haikal and Heru from behind when needed, while Cecil is behind the two girls.
Cecil is a Blazer candidate with Job Summoner, his main ability that is most needed today is a wide view through his Soul Arc that can be controlled from afar. He also works to heal when needed.
Although, Jack? He was at the very back of the line in this formation.
Jack's Forbidden Magic Card is very useful even from any position, he can adapt to various conditions so that it allows him to keep the back of the formation, supporting and helping Haikal and Heru in the front row from afar.
"Heru, target his head!" Haikal grabbed the Soul Saber at the waist and immediately activated it before kicking the ground darting forward.
"I know!" Heru did not want to miss, he also took out his Soul Arc which was later known as Twin Kong, then darted quickly following Haikal from behind.
"Basic boys!" Verna was weaving her lips slightly in disbelief as Haikal and Heru advanced first, but she did not complain any further and cast magic from afar firing some water balls, "Let's start, Salvia! Blue Sphere – Barrage!"
A pair of Verg named Direwolf was indeed fast and nimble so that quite a lot was avoided and the ball that hit the target did not have enough power destroyed for Verg Direwolf class, Direwolf, but Verna's goal was not a crushing attack.
Salvia did not answer Verna's call with words, she immediately took a position before activating Awakening as well as the concentration of soul energy simultaneously, then mobilized one of her strongest moves, "Niflheim Breeze!"
Salvia breathed a strong cold wind that immediately froze the two Vergs who had been hit by Verna's water attack, leaving the pair of Direwolves unfazed as Haikal and Heru launched an attack.
Haikal swung the laser sword in his hand to split the Direwolf's target diagonally, while Heru launched a powerful punch at his opponent's head and smashed the wolf-shaped Verg into pieces.
"Woah, defeating the Normal-class Verg in an instant I could never have imagined in my dreams even!" Heru looked at his fists in disbelief as he had just crushed the Direwolf that fast, Verg who incidentally needed an Intermidate or Advance-level Blazer to deal with.
"Hmph, of course! It's because of my combined moves and Salvia!" Verna puffed out her chest looking at Heru's reaction, "Thank you to us!"
"Yes, thank you, Verna! You're the best! I love you!" Heru smiled broadly at Verna as he lifted his thumb up high and turned to look at Salvia, "Your combination of moves is great!"
Verna who heard that her face immediately turned red after a few seconds of silence, not expecting Heru to suddenly say so. She was completely unprepared for the 'dreadful attack' from her lover just now.
Haikal and Salvia smiled dryly not knowing how to respond to this atmosphere, while Jack at the back tried to resist the grin of observing Haikal and Salvia before being commented by Cecil, "Jack, why are you smiling like that?"
"Infell?" Cecil tilted his head not understanding the word, he did not see Heru launch an attack on Verna before—more precisely never once.
Jack smiled wryly in response to Cecil's innocence, confused to explain or let Cecil's innocence as it should be.
The sixth though managed to defeat Verg Normal class in an instant that should be impossible to do for the size of the candidate Blazer first class then not high-minded.
Verg Normal class was only second weakest among the other seven classes, being able to defeat an opponent of that class in less than a minute was indeed a great feat for their size, but the story is different when compared to a group of official Blazers.
They knew a group of Intermidate-level official Blazers could do the same thing easily, let alone the number of Normal-class Vergs was only a pair while they were six. It was obviously too heavy.
Although this achievement was nothing small for the size of the Blazer candidates, there was no time for the six to celebrate their success considering that they were currently in the middle of a real battle instead of in the Virtual Training Room. Verg will continue to arrive without being asked.
Sure enough, Cecil soon tells Haikal and the others that a group of Ant-Bee are coming from one direction. He was able to figure this out through his vision which was now connected to the Jade Phoenix hovering several meters above him.
Cecil also described a group of Ant-Bee is not less than 20 tail.
"Ant-Bee, huh?" Haikal smiled broadly at Cecil's Ant-Bee, then looked at Heru who also had a similar expression, "If it's not wrong we didn't have time to train in the Virtual Training Room against Ant-Bee because he was expelled by Mr. Andre at that time, right?"
Heru glanced at Haikal while raising his eyebrows next to him with a defiant smile, "Oh, we're going to do it now?"
"Of course, you might not be able to follow me given your condition is far from excellent after experiencing life and death some time ago," Haikal shrugged his shoulders.
Heru's forehead twitched slightly at Haikal's lure, "Ah, is that it? I thought you were the one who didn't dare after being battered by Jack in the last game."
Haikal gave his eyes to Heru feeling displeased at the young man's words, and vice versa who did the same thing made Verna and Jack pat their eels together.
"They start again" grumbled Jack massaging his throbbing forehead.
"Yes, I can guess how the end of their debate this time," added Verna no less headache than Jack.
"I happen to think so too."
After a while Haikal and Heru decided something before suddenly running small towards the arrival of the Ant-Bee who was told by Cecil.
"Who beats more Verg winners!"
"Who's afraid!"
Along with the exclamation when a horde of Ant-Bee came, Haikal and Heru gave a standing welcome to all of them. Haikal slashed each Ant-Bee with a Soul Saber in his hand, while Heru thrust out a fist after fist crushing his opponents one by one.
Jack and Verna could only shake their heads watching the two youths' ridiculous behavior, while Salvia and Cecil looked at Haikal and Heru and looked at Jack and Verna alternately with plain faces, "We're not helping them?"
