Absolute Soul

Absolute Soul
13. The arrival of Salvia

There are currently three people sitting in the living room of the Alendra residence, namely Haikal, Heru, and Salvia. Haikal and Heru sat facing Salvia opposite a small glass table.

"What brings you here, Salvia?" Haikal opened the question first feeling the awkward atmosphere around him had taken enough time.

"I'm here to accompany you to practice, but it looks like you've just finished." Salvia's gaze diverted towards Heru with a sharp eye.

"Why do you see me like that? Isn't it natural for me and Haikal to train together?" Heru was a little annoyed by Salvia's look at him, "In addition, why do you know Haikal's home address?"

"I searched his address from the academy data held by my father, was that wrong?" Salvia seemed confused to realize Heru looked annoyed.

Heru replies to Salvia, but her comment is finalized by the silver-haired girl. This continues to repeat until the second breath is interrupted. In the end, Haikal mediated a fight they broke up the two.

After all, Haikal said, "Salvia, Heru and I have been practicing physically, how about you train me in terms of souls?"

"Oh, right too. So, what do you want to train first?" Salvia raised her eyebrows hearing Haikal.

"Obviously the main one is soul energy, and after that awaken the Soul Arc." Haikal closed his eyes considering that he was still unable to summon his Soul Arc.

Salvia was a little surprised to know. Lastly he checked the capacity and quantity of Haikal's soul energy was already quite large and many compared to the first time the young man had attempted to awaken the Soul Arc, but with that amount he had yet to manage to summon his Soul Arc?

If the Soul Arc he possessed was of great power, it could still be said to be natural. But if the Soul Arc is not so great? There's a strange thing about Haikal's unknown self.

The power of the soul and the Soul Arc itself are still said to be new to the knowledge of mankind, so not so much is known about them.

"Haikal, why are you in such a hurry to summon your Soul Arc?" Tanya Salvia made Heru also curious.

"Of course because of the Welcome Tournament, what else do you think? Isn't it clear that without the Soul Arc I wouldn't be able to enter the tournament?" Haikal replied that Salvia wanted to fool her.

Hearing that, Salvia rubbed her chin thinking of something before raising her voice again, "What is the mandatory use of Soul Arc in the tournament?"

This time upside down, the pair of friends seemed very confused to get Salvia's reply which seemed also astonished, "A student who has not yet awakened the Soul Arc is allowed to participate in the Welcome Tournament?" At least that's what both of them think.

Salvia then took out a piece of paper that was shown to the two, "This paper is a sheet about the Welcome Tournament that is spread throughout the Skymaze academy. As far as I can read there is no prohibition on a disciple without a Soul Arc not being able to follow it."

Haikal and Heru read the sheet in silence for a while, after which Heru's face brightened, but not Haikal's, "While there is no ban, the tournament will definitely fight, right? Can I fight with the Blazers without Soul Arc?"

"Totally so." Salvia and Heru muttered while rubbing their chin simultaneously only realizing that it was that simple.

After a few seconds, Salvia put forward his proposal, "How about using a Soul Device?"

"Soul Devices? You kidding? That expensive tool?" Haikal could only smile wryly at Salvia's proposal followed by Heru's widening eyes.

Soul Device is a special tool developed by the Blazer Support category. This tool is used by those who want to strengthen their abilities or equip their equipment that is lacking.

But because of the rare and expensive manufacturing materials, the price of Soul Device is not cheap. The cheapest Soul Device alone cost around 100,000 Bold, a fantastic price for ordinary people like Haikal and Heru.

"You don't have it?" Tanya Salvia was curious.

"How can an ordinary person like me have such an expensive tool?!" Haikal's annoyance this time exploded seeing Salvia's insensitivity to the condition of the surrounding people.

Salvia himself looks confused seven stars, he does not realize that the finances of his family and Haikal family are much different, considering the Volksky family including the upper class.

Haikal sat back down on the sofa with a sigh because he was standing up for a while, annoyed by Salvia's words that sounded very disrespectful to him. When his eyes were turned to the silver-haired girl again, he was shocked to death.

"This girl almost cried?!" Haikal's mind looked at Salvia's teary eyes.

While still drowning in shock, Heru elbowed Haikal and whispered, "I don't want to go along," then blurred as fast as lightning disappeared from the living room.

Haikal cursed hard in his heart to see the behavior of Heru who played hazy without the intention of helping him. After that he looked towards Salvia who rubbed her eyes with the tip of her sleeve quickly.

"Even if he's a genius and rich, that doesn't mean he's a bad guy. Perhaps the knowledge of his surroundings was lacking to the point of saying something that could offend others easily," Haikal regretted snapping at Salvia.

He then stood up and looked down apologizing to Salvia, "I'm sorry I was rude, I was carried away by emotions."

"Ehm, it's okay. I'm sorry too, I accidentally said something that offended you." Salvia accepted Haikal's apology while apologizing as well.

After that Salvia told me about her being raised without knowing the conditions of the surrounding environment. He rarely explored the outside world and played with other children so he only knew life in his home.

Having been raised in such a way, he became very insensitive to the condition of others in many ways. He felt his insensitivity when he entered middle school thanks to the ridicule of his friends.

He has learned many theories about the condition of others, but he has always failed to practice them. That's why he often offends others accidentally, even some families of his father's acquaintances often warn him to keep his mouth.

"So that's how it happened. It is only fitting that he does not feel guilty when offending others," Haikal lamented in his heart that he felt bad for yelling at this poor girl.

Haikal sighed for a moment before trying to comfort Salvia and apologized once again for not knowing the condition of this girl.

"Then, what do you want for my apology?" Tanya Haikal offered a special request to Salvia.

He recalled the time when Salvia gave this kind of request when she wanted to make up for the misunderstanding some time ago, at least she wanted to repay him in the same way.

Salvia was silent for a moment pondering what she wanted to do to Haikal as an apology. Considering that he had offered the same thing when he made a mistake, he understood the reason Haikal made the offer.

After a long silence, Salvia got something and immediately looked at Haikal with sparkling eyes, "How about a date?"
