12. Train Tanding

Thanks to the notice about the Welcome Tournament by Andre, Haikal and Heru became even more excited in training. The two are currently practicing a match in the backyard of the Alendra residence.

There had been more than a hundred attacks carried out by the two, but none of the signs of exhaustion were visible from them. Although using soul energy can replace the position of physical stamina, neither Haikal nor Heru use their advantages as Blazers in this match training.

In the final attack, Haikal and Heru slammed their fists together causing wind friction between them. Both of them stepped back and saluted each other to indicate that the match practice this time has been completed.

"Haikal, have you been harder lately to forge your physique?" Heru asked after vertical bottle of drink that he brought himself from home.

"Not really, I'm just practicing as usual. Why?"

"Your strength is increasing, I think you are using soul energy," Heru sighed remembering each attack he received.

Haikal himself chuckled a little to hide the practice tricks he had been working on lately.

It's true that he doesn't train harder, it's just that for his mentality and energy. This is due to the portion of his training being more than usual thanks to the use of soul energy as a substitute for physical stamina.

For ordinary humans, the portion of Haikal training is certainly not something that can be seen every day and can be said to be very hard, but for himself he does not feel so heavy with this portion of exercise. In exchange for soul energy that multiplies stamina and portion of physical exercise, Haikal's body undergoes significant development in various ways.

First, obviously the muscles of his body began to increase thanks to the portion of the exercise that is not human. Strength, speed, agility, as well as physical dexterity, all progressed in a terrifying duration.

Secondly, his stamina also increased significantly as he ran at least 15 Kilometers every day. Although his soul energy was used, his stamina also increased according to the development of his physical body.

Third, his soul power and energy also developed. Although not too big like his body and physical stamina, at least this method of practicing using soul energy can develop his physical and soul needs as a Blazer.

Actually Haikal wanted to tell this to Heru, but he did not know how fast and what the risk of the development is this fast. As a candidate for Blazer, Haikal knew a thing or two about the speed of development of a Blazer. In terms of development, he is quite fast compared to the average Wulodhasia Blazer.

Even so, Haikal did not want to celebrate this and ignored the risks he might receive, the destruction of the physical body for example. It cannot be missed given its development is too fast and may exceed its limits for now.

After all, he did not want to get stronger too quickly. If he could not control the great power that was within him, wouldn't that mean that destruction would be a matter of time for him? At least he needed some time to get used to his newfound strength.

"Haikal, do you know why Salvia wants to enter our team?" Heru looked up at the sky, thinking about the events that had shocked their classroom yesterday.

Shortly after Andre's announcement of the Welcoming Tournament yesterday, the disciples began to glance at each other assessing who they could invite to be team mates. Sure as a genius student, Salvia got a lot of offers from the students of grade 1-A, but all of them were rejected.

At about the same time, Salvia stated that he would join the team of anyone entered by Haikal. That made the students surprised and astonished, why would a Blazer candidate who had yet to awaken the Soul Arc be chosen by Snow White as a teammate?

"Hmm, maybe because of my request?" Haikal said as he poured his body into the grass.

Heru widened his eyes hearing Haikal's reply, "Huh?! That Snow White is on our team just because of your request?!"

"I was just asking to be taught about the things that it takes to be a Blazer by him, but it seems like he was mistaken." Haikal's expression became very sour imagining the reaction of his classmates on Monday.

Heru could only be speechless, he did not understand what his friend's problem was with Salvia, so he did not want to interfere too deeply.

The hands and feet of both are no longer caught by the eyes of ordinary people so quickly move. Despite moving at high speed, the two were able to see each other's movements clearly, it was thanks to the increase in reflexes and eye muscles by soul energy.

When humans successfully awaken and use soul energy, then almost the entire ability of his physical body will increase drastically or at least can be increased beyond normal humans in general. So strong is a candidate Blazer despite low statistics.

"Haikal, your strength is much stronger than before. Are you training your soul energy in a special way?" Heru was surprised by the speed and power of Haikal who was able to match him considering the statistics of his best friend's soul power was not so high.

"Either, yes. It could be," Haikal said, smiling meaningfully without loosening his every attack.

Heru only smiled wryly getting an uncertain answer from Haikal. Because, he was confident in the statistics and the capacity of his soul energy more than his best friend, but he could not put great pressure on Haikal. That doesn't make any sense.

"There must be something that he is hiding from me," Inner Heru threw a smile with a meaning.

His body began to heat up, the soul energy he released was getting bigger and each attack became stronger and quickly made Haikal a little overwhelmed. Of course Haikal did not stay still, he also released soul energy that was no less large than Heru. The match became even fiercer destroying some of the beauty of the courtyard.

The match lasted about ten minutes with Haikal's defeat which drained his soul energy, Heru's condition was not much different from Haikal's. They both lay on their backs facing the sky with exhausted bodies.

"Haikal, are you sure your statistics haven't changed? With this ability of yours, at least your stats aren't far below mine." Heru who was still panting could not help his curiosity.

"I've checked, but nothing has changed" Haikal replied, trying to catch his wild breath.

The reason Haikal could match Heru who was already serious enough was the regulation of his breath as well as the more efficient use of his soul energy. He has understood and practiced some of the things he read from his loan book, of course there is a difference in the use of soul energy between himself and Heru.

Like any new Blazer in general, Heru could only rely on his soul energy in a simple manner, as well, that is, strengthening his entire body at one time so that the amount of soul energy needed is also quite a lot with a steady increase in the overall body.

Different from Heru, Haikal has varied the use of soul energy with his breathing technique, then controls the expenditure and proper use of soul energy in a few moments. He also does not strengthen his entire body at one time, but only strengthens his hands, legs, and some chest and stomach muscles in order to balance his movements.

If only they competed over the efficiency of using soul energy, it was clear Haikal would come out victorious.

"Sister," Seran called from the house to see his brother and Heru lying limp in the grass, then squinted at several yard points before commemorating Haikal, "Sister, better brother and sister Heru can give a good reason to Mother later."

Seran sighed at the behavior of these two people, "Here you go, that's it later. Haikal, there's a guest looking for you."
