After Verg's first invasion of humanity, there were only five countries that managed to survive around the world and these five countries changed their government system to a monarchy, Indonesia is also one of them.
Today the archipelago that was once the largest archipelago is now turned into Wulodhasia, then the area has grown quite far since the first Verg invasion. Now Wulodhasia has a coverage area up to the land that was once the territory of Laos.
Of course some refugees from these regions of the country are opposed to this kind of expansion, but they could do nothing because the human population in Wulodhasia was too large and expanding the territory was indispensable for the survival of the country.
The refugees managed to return to their homeland, but certainly remained under the protection of Wulodhasia. Although the Wulodhasia leader occupied the king's seat, he was not necessarily a dictator or a king who used his power for self-interest or certain circles.
At first the Wulodhasia leader did not agree with the monarchy system to be implemented, but this was also to prevent rebel groups that had the possibility of rebelling against Indonesia because they wanted to form their own state. Therefore, the actual system of monarchy is not much different from the republican system.
These small countries were under the auspices of Wulodhasia as was the Yogyakarta sultanate in the past, this could minimize the possibility of certain groups rebelling in difficult times at that time.
"At least that's a small part of the history of our Wulodhasia kingdom." Andre ended his explanation along with the sound of a break bell.
As soon as Andre left the class the students also went out intending to go to the cafeteria or go around the academy considering that today was the first day the new students attended Skymaze academy. Haikal and Heru were not left behind.
"Woah, the canteen is like a battlefield" Haikal said, witnessing the state of the canteen being raided by countless students.
It could be that the entire number of students who were in this cafeteria counted, but who would want to do such a troublesome thing?
"What are you saying, Haikal? Aren't we used to this?" Heru smiled faintly at Haikal's response, then greeted another smile from this pitch-black haired young man.
"Just like before?" Haikal raised his eyebrows looking at his best friend.
"Of course." Heru raised his thumb with a confident smile.
Haikal then lowered his body and put his hands together like he was about to catch something. Heru who had already taken a run from this side immediately stepped towards Haikal at medium speed.
When he was about to reach Haikal, Heru jumped into Haikal's two hands which Haikal of course immediately pushed him soaring upwards, towards the crowd of leading disciples. The disciples were surprised to see Heru drifting towards them, but they immediately dodged.
Heru landed perfectly on the floor, then buy some snacks and soft drinks from the canteen mother as soon as she can and quickly run away from the canteen building with Haikal with the attention focused on both.
"He broke through the queue?!"
"What the fuck is oi?!"
"Comm***!"
The students who witnessed it began to raise protests and mockery because they realized that their queue was being dragged in an unusual way. Although actually Heru looks to fall because of a fight, it turns out the teenager can land perfectly.
"Are they new students?" Asked a student a little surprised to see the action of the two from the start.
"From his face I think so, chief," replied a bespectacled student who was beside him.
***
"Successful mission!" Heru laughed freely while opening his snack package and immediately eating it.
Contrary to Heru, Haikal only smiled a small stick of straw in his milk box and drank the contents. Haikal was much quieter than Heru in many ways, and he was more serious than Heru.
"Heru, don't you think our actions were enough to attract attention?" While drinking the milk box Haikal raised a question to Heru.
"Why really? Are you afraid that you're considered a problem child?" Heru looked confused by Haikal's question this time.
Haikal himself did not immediately answer, he turned his chin to look at the sky, then closed his eyes to feel the wind blowing on him. He recalled his time in high school, "Not really, I just didn't really want to stand out in this school, you know?"
Heru chewed and swallowed his hawker bread, then replied to Haikal, "Since when have we been able to stand out in the Blazer academy, huh? You forgot about the value of our soul power in high school then?"
Haikal coughed at Heru's words, "How could I possibly forget the value of our soul force?" He looked a little moody when he said that.
He sighed as Heru looked up at the sky, "The strength of my soul is quite average as a layman, while the strength of your soul is even below average."
"Don't remind me!" Haikal exclaimed loudly not accepting Heru reminding him back.
Since the beginning of his birth every human being has a soul, but the strength of the human soul is not the same as every individual. There are big soul powers, there are also small ones. Only a human with great and powerful soul power could become a Blazer because the Soul Arc depended on the soul power of its user.
The stronger the soul power of the user, the stronger the Soul Arc and its potential users will be. That's the core of Blazer's power, at least according to the knowledge Haikal and Heru gained during middle school.
Haikal closed his eyes trying to remember the past, something precious to him that existed in those times. Although he had known that his soul power was below average since he was in elementary school, Haikal never intended to change his desire to become a Blazer.
For Heru himself his strength was right at the average, so he still had a chance to become a Blazer, but for Haikal it would be very unlikely. That's why he was very diligent in training his physique since childhood even though he knew it would not help him become a Blazer.
The persistence of Haikal training since childhood made Heru amazed, that was the beginning that made the two interested in each other and friendly until now.
"Haikal, you've been training hard for a long time. Your efforts won't betray you." Heru patted Haikal's shoulder trying to encourage his best friend.
Haikal smiled faintly realizing that Heru was trying to encourage him, convincing him that his training from childhood would not betray the result.
"Oh, have you smiled back? Later buy me a chicken noodle Bu Ndari for the payment," said Heru laughing while patting hard Haikal's shoulder several times.
"You're a jackass, apparently asking for payment lately. You think your motivation is already as high as the famous motivational figure of the 2000s? Who's 'Strict' that." Haikal snorted dejectedly at the behavior of his best friend.
The two chuckled while waiting for the break bell to be finished in the park while talking about the students in their class, especially the girls. Heru was most enthusiastic when talking about their class girl.
