Haikal's final blow struck Edward's face, prompting the white-haired young man to smash through the wall between the arena and the stadium, losing consciousness on the spot.
After delivering a powerful blow that blew Edward's consciousness, Haikal fell on the floor limp with a non-light injury, "Restanding on one foot from such a height is indeed dangerous," haikal muttered with a wry laugh enduring the pain.
Haikal expended all of his soul energy on the blow that destroyed Edward's Glacial Atlas, leaving Haikal with no choice but to land on the floor at the expense of his left foot.
"The black horse's winner, Haikal Alendra!" The lawyer loudly exclaimed Haikal's victory which was met by the furore of the still-conscious spectators, while the Guild representatives could only silently think of the way they would recruit Haikal in the future.
As soon as the winner of the match was announced, medics rushed to Edward and Haikal, who were lying on the walls and floor, respectively, and deployed first aid while examining both injuries.
As there was no distressing distress from Veindal this time, medics were able to identify Haikal and Edward's injuries quickly.
Edward broke his nose and several other bones, as well as several internal injuries but did not put his life at risk. Even though Edward is a Wizard-type Blazer who in fact is physically weak, Blazer's body is still stronger than ordinary humans even if only a little.
Different from Edward who did not suffer serious injuries, Haikal's condition can be said to be concerning.
During this time Haikal did train his body hard beyond the limits of fairness to get a body as hard as a rock that is difficult to destroy, but the exercise did not make him immune.
Haikal's right arm was severely injured because it concentrated too much soul energy outside its limits, as a result of which Haikal's arm was blown up from the inside. Broken bones, broken muscles, and ruptured blood vessels are arguably lighter than the condition of the Haikal arm now.
The bone on Haikal's right arm was no longer broken, but rather shattered into dozens of—no, hundreds of tiny sharp bone fragments embedded in the inside of his arm.
In addition to injuries to his right arm, one of Haikal's legs also suffered a serious injury.
Thanks to the plunge from an unnatural height without the protection of soul energy, Haikal's leg also suffered a severe fracture, but not as bad as his right arm.
Without these two wounds, it could be said Haikal only suffered minor injuries such as scratched or stuck in Edward's ice. At its heaviest was probably just the left arm that had most of its muscles severed from over-exercising itself to hit Edward.
Haikal's condition does sound severe, but it is not serious to endanger his life and can still be cured with modern medical technology that relies on Soul Device.
"Bas stupid, you're too much. Lucky that hurt badly just hands and feet, how about your neck? You think you can still be cured?" Heru's lips smiled wryly at the body of his best friend lying helplessly on the stretcher, "You've always been reckless long ago."
Haikal smiled at Heru's reaction that sounded less worried about him, "After all, it's impossible to defeat Edward with just body capital and training alone."
Finished saying that Haikal then stretched out his left fist at Heru while smiling trustfully, "I'll leave it to you, you fucking comrade."
"Yes, leave it to me, wedge stubborn," Heru replied touching his fists to Haikal's fists with a smile before medics took Haikal to the hospital for treatment.
After Haikal left, Heru then did a mild warm-up to his body considering that he was the only one left of Salvia's group. The next game is clear he will go forward.
The next match will resume once the arena is fixed.
The impact of Haikal and Edward's fight was too far from the expectations of the teachers, they were too underestimated one of the genius and the best dark horse in the year. It took time for the special Wizard-type Blazers to reconstruct this arena.
While the arena was fixed, two other members of Edward's group continued to watch Heru while discussing how to defeat the young man.
Although Heru is not the seeded participant to win individually, Heru is not an ordinary Blazer candidate that they can underestimate. At least Heru is as strong as the Newbie or Intermidate level Blazers if calculated from his fights as far as the tournament goes.
In the end both of them decided to weaken Heru first by whoever became his opponent in the third match later, then the last person who was left would finish Heru.
"Alright, the arena repair is complete! Sorry waiting!" The lawyer immediately exclaimed loudly to announce the completion of the arena repairs, then continued by the draw the participant's name, "The third match is Heru Hartanto mela—"
Before the lawyer finished his sentence, Heru raised his hand to point at the opposite side of the fighting arena, the other two members of Edward's group, drawing all the attention including the lawyer, "You two go ahead together, I'll clear at once."
Heru's statement invited excitement throughout the arena, even some Guild representatives also joined the scene thanks to him. It was not as good as when Haikal challenged Edward given that some spectators were still unconscious, but clearly this was the most shocking statement throughout the Welcoming Tournament this year.
"Heru, that's not how the tournament is going. You have to fight one on one, can't be all at once!" Before the furore became greater, the lawyer immediately intended to stop Heru's actions, but it was stopped by a loud noise from the room of the Skymaze academy's teachers.
"If the party being challenged agrees, then as the headmaster of this fight I'll just allow it!" Veindal's voice rang out loud all over the arena, drawing attention as well as making all the creatures present there wonder.
Could Veindal have allowed this because Heru was a group with his daughter Salvia? It was that question that reverberated in the minds of the entire audience, not least the representatives of large and small Guilds.
Although there are exceptions from Veindal, in this situation it is Heru who is not benefited. Two on one? It was extremely difficult, especially for a Blazer candidate without any fighting experience like Heru.
Feeling as though being underestimated by the opponent, the two members of Edward's group rose in blood and stomped on the floor of the battle area, accepting Heru's challenge which sounded very insulting to both of them.
"Well, since there are exceptions from the principal and the approval from both sides, the match will start!" The lawyer then announced the start of the match, although never expected there to be a match like this throughout the history of the Skymaze Academy Welcome Tournament.
"You're going to kill us, Heru Hartanto!" One of Heru's opponents exclaimed loudly while taking out his Soul Arc preparing to attack, as well as one other participant. The two then stepped forward to approach Heru intending to attack him directly.
In response to that Heru then raised both hands parallel to the chest forming fighting horses, then took out his Soul Arc which was in the form of reddish-brown leather gloves while whispering, "Let's go forward, Twin Kong!"
Heru kicked the floor towards his two opponents at a speed that was hard to imagine, then landed a crushing blow on the face of each opponent, slamming both of their heads to the floor violently.
"Games.finished." There was no smile or friendly expression that usually existed on Heru's face, only a gaze full of anger and enthusiasm that churned in his eyes.
