As soon as Haikal conveyed his plan, Reynard seemed to doubt Haikal's sanity by devising such a crazy plan, but he could see that if this plan succeeded it was not impossible that they managed to reverse this dangerous situation and finish off a large number of Vergs.
"Indeed with this plan we can swat two flies at once." Jack rubbed his chin hearing Haikal's plan, "But, is this plan possible? I mean, this is gonna take a lot of Wizard-type Blazers and it can reduce our combat power on the front lines."
Haikal did not respond to Jack's comments given he had called this plan crazy and impossible if not done with many people, but he remains adamant that if his plan is successful then the battle may end soon or at least buy time before the next wave arrives.
Haikal and Jack looked at each other for a moment before turning to Reynard who seemed to have made the decision.
"Alright, let's try Haikal's plan." Reynard immediately directed the Blazer behind him to gather the entire Wizard-type Blazer that could still fight and put them at one point.
Reynard thanked Haikal before saying, "Rest your best because maybe we'll need your help too."
After saying so Reynard left the room with some of his remaining subordinates letting Haikal's entourage rest longer.
When Reynard had completely left the room, Haikal let out a heavy sigh of relief, "Facing a Master-level Blazer like Commander Reynard was exhausting. I don't even know if my smile looks natural or not."
"So you're nervous? You still have a lot to learn, man," said Heru, laughing at Haikal, who looked so free after Reynard came out of the room.
Haikal raised his eyebrows to hear Heru's reply and joined in with a small smile, "You say that but don't see yourself? Look at your feet so shaky."
"Ah, this? I was just too excited to get a chance to meet a Master-level Blazer" Heru said as he shook his hand rejecting Haikal's assumption.
"Stop fighting over trivialities!" Before Haikal returned Heru's words, Verna first came and gave a prick in each of their heads, leaving the two speechless grimacing in pain.
Verna snorted in satisfaction after venting her frustration at Haikal and Heru's quarrel, she then looked at Jack before asking, "What do you think, Jack? What do you think about the chances of success of this plan?"
Jack rubbed his chin for a moment upon hearing Verna's question. He admits that Haikal's plan sounds crazy and has a risk that is not light, but if this plan is successful then all can be completed in one attack.
"I'm not sure how big the chances of success are, but one thing is for sure the combat power on the front lines will be drastically reduced" Jack said after pondering for a while.
He then took some small objects in the room and placed them all on the table, arranging them in such a way that they resembled the location of Muara Fort and the ongoing battleground.
Jack pointed to an object that signified the vanguard of the Muara Fort, "Normally this place will be handed over to the Warrior and Rogue-type Blazers due to their close combat ability."
"Then, behind them there is a Wizard and Support-type Blazer ready to support from medium and long distances," explained Jack pointing to an object that was behind the 'Front Front of the Muara Fort'.
"The key to Haikal's plan is centered on a Wizard-type Blazer, especially one capable of handling water," Jack explains, "That means we have to sacrifice Blazer Wizard support at the forefront which will also affect other Warrior-type Blazers."
Jack frowned for a moment before looking at Haikal, "What if the Blazer Warrior defense on the frontline collapses first before the Blazer Wizards in their roles?"
"We will not fail." Haikal shook his head slowly while putting on a confident smile.
Jack raised his eyebrows, "What are you saying that on what basis?"
"Your Soul Arc," Haikal replied briefly, successfully leaving Jack and the others silent for a moment.
The silence reigned between the six of them until Jack blinked his eyes a few times and scratched his ears before saying, "I'm sorry, I think I misheard. Can you say it again?"
"You didn't hear me wrong, Jack." Haikal smiled meaningfully, "I'm sure we'll make it because of Soul Arc and you, Jack."
Generally, the Soul Arc belonging to the Support-type Blazer only has the ability to strengthen one type of stat, but Jack is able to increase every single stat of a Blazer or more.
It was proven when his match against Haikal, Jack was able to match even surpass the physical strength of Haikal which incidentally Blazer type Warrior who excels in physical statistics.
At the same time Jack can also create magical attacks as powerful as Gaia's Maelstrom that are even able to impress and envy a large number of Wizard-type Blazers, a technique that could destroy the arena of Skymaze Academy if not held back by a protector.
Not to mention the full power of the Javelin Rainfall Magic that was recently used to finish off or at least injure hundreds of Normal-class Vergs down outside the Muara Fort.
"With the Forbidden Magic Card Jack, we can increase the power of a large number of Blazers at once. Other Support-type blazers will focus on those who are not reached by Jack's abilities" Haikal explained.
Haikal puffed his chest feeling that he was quite capable of harnessing the power of Jack's support that he had just felt against Shear then, but before Haikal could feel even more proud Verna hit the young man's head hard enough that Haikal's forehead hit the floor.
"You stupid or what?! Even though Jack's strength is practical and has a wider range than other Support-type Blazers, that doesn't mean everything can be done that easily!" verna exclaims her anger until Cecil pulls Verna's arm trying to calm the emotional girl.
Jack laughed faintly at Verna's reaction, which surprised him, while Haikal got up while wiping his painful tubers. The two of them then shared a glance before Jack raised a voice.
"Haikal, it's true that my power is able to increase the stats of a Blazer or more at one time, but all it takes is worth paying" said Jack who then explained more about the Forbidden Magic Card.
Jack's increasing strength is related to the type of cards he draws. If Jack draws a clover card then the stats that increase are magic power, if the spade then the physical strength will skyrocket.
Jack's power does sound practical and very useful in a variety of situations, but such a great power is also not cheap. Jack needed enough soul energy to realize the increase.
Let's just say when Jack draws a card worth two, it means drawing one point of soul energy, then pulling a three-valued card means the Jack also needs one extra soul energy point to make it happen and so on until the card is highest in value.
"In addition, the more people I give the increase, the more soul energy I need." Jack smiled bitterly after explaining the absolute terms of his ability.
He added that strengthening Haikal and Heru's physical strength earlier also required approximately twenty percent of his soul energy.
Haikal rubbed his chin for a moment pondering Jack's explanation, "What if an increase is only worth double?"
"If it's only doubled I can strengthen 15 to 20 people in a few minutes with a comparable amount of soul energy," Jack replied casually until he realized the intent behind Haikal's question, "You mean...."
"Well, you just focus on those 15 to 20 people. Another Blazer Support will cover the rest." Haikal then handed over the pouch containing the soul energy recovery pill Sakuya gave to Jack, "Use this when your soul energy is depleted."
Jack wanted to say something but he had not yet raised his voice, Haikal had given direction to Cecil who was a healer in the safe line with Jack. He also directed Salvia towards the frontline helping the Blazer Warrior and Rogue use her vast magic range.
"Then, Verna will follow another Blazer Wizard to execute the core of the plan," Haikal said pointing to Verna who is now listening closely, "Last, Heru and I will advance in the front row."
"Haikal, that's too rash." Salvia soon adopted the word Haikal, which Verna related, "Salvia was right. Even if you have become stronger does not mean you cannot be hurt or even...."
Verna was unable to finish her words once the shadow of Heru and Haikal's death flashed through her mind, but before Verna's imaijnasi became more wild Heru patted the purple-haired girl's shoulder.
"Don't worry so much. You've seen me almost die a few times, proof that I'm alive today," said Heru while laughing loudly which grew increasingly smaller and finally stopped before turning his eyes after seeing Verna's sharp gaze that seemed to devour him alive.
Verna sighed at the attitude of her lover that really made her unable to leave Heru alone. He then looked at Haikal, "I can't let you guys advance to the de— line"
"Then, do you want to tell Heru and I to sit quietly in this room while drinking tea to let you face the danger?" Haikal looked at Verna with sharp eyes, making the girl shudder for a moment.
