Absolute Soul
50. Incidents in the Middle of Exercise

After a few days after getting information about the movement of Verg outside the border that is increasingly suspicious, Heru began running runtin practice inhumane style Haikal, a Haikal, of course accompanied by Haikal who has experience with the way to practice it.

The two have circled the city of Adele for several rounds. Different from Haikal who seemed fine, Heru who was not accustomed to this exercise looked tired and out of breath.

"Haikal... Do you really do this... Every day?" Not strong to keep running, finally Heru asked Haikal to rest for a while. Heru was lying on a park bench not far from there, while Haikal was still running small on the spot.

"It was heavy at first, but over time your body will get used to it." Haikal rolled up his sleeves showing Her biceps muscles, "Your muscles would probably be this big if you kept practicing like this for over a month."

Heru gave a dry laugh seeing the unnatural development of Haikal biceps muscles among his level Blazer candidates, even Heru himself who is a candidate for Warrior-type Blazer with the body as the main weapon alone is difficult to reach the thickness and density like Haikal in approximately a month.

A moment later Haikal stopped running in his place, then sat cross-legged on the pavement before starting to close his eyes and concentrate on his breathing, "Heru, he said, if your body has reached its limit then you must quickly regulate your breath while simultaneously flowing your soul energy throughout the body, it will speed up recovery."

Heru wanted to comment on Haikal who would say that easily without seeing his condition that was still so exhausted, but Heru kept it all and obeyed Haikal's words. In a few moments Heru could feel his fatigue lessening much faster.

After feeling his body refreshed, Heru exhaled a deep breath before standing up and doing some stretches, "Oh, this really works. Not only fatigue, even soreness throughout the body since yesterday is also quite reduced." Heru slightly widened his eyes knowing the drastic changes to his body.

Heru turned his gaze to Haikal after feeling satisfied at his unnatural recovery speed, his forehead slightly shriveled, "He doesn't look tired, why concentrate so long?" Inner Heru was confused with his friend who never opened his eyes when Haikal first sat cross-legged from him.

"Could he be looking for his Soul Arc?" Heru just remembered until now Haikal has not been able to awaken his Soul Arc, but judging from the quantity of soul energy Haikal should have managed to resurrect it a long time ago, at least found the form of his Soul Arc.

"How powerful is the Soul Arc he managed to awaken later?" Heru could not help but smile at the Soul Arc that Haikal had obtained in the future, which was obviously quite high in expectations.

Shortly after Heru muttered to himself, Haikal opened his eyes with a breath of breath accompanied by a few sweaty feathers starting to come out from his forehead. He also coughed several times before sipping the mineral water given by Heru.

"Thank you, Heru," Haikal said, returning Heru's bottle, his breathing still puffing.

Heru smiled slightly in response to the attitude of his best friend, he did not feel surprised considering that until now not only had not succeeded in awakening the Soul Arc, but Haikal also had not seen the form of his soul weapon even though, according to Haikal's own testimony.

While waiting for Haikal to recover, Heru stepped closer to the fence that bordered him with the city's river directly connected to the sea. He sighed for a moment before leaning his chin on the fence, "Haikal, have you ever thought about Verg on a Titan-class?"

Haikal, who had been focusing on breathing, raised his eyebrows, "Verg on a Titan-class?"

"I know this sounds crazy, but I'm just wondering." Heru sighed again before turning around and looking at Haikal, "What would it be if Verg in this world was only a small part of the army behind that pillar of light?"

So far humans have often fought Normal or highest grade Goliath Vergs in several battlefields, but actually Vergs that class tend to be easily found in many places, especially Insect to Beast classes.

The lay world quite often shows the fight between Blazers against the Verg class Chimera or Goliath, but not many people know the main threat from Verg is not the two classes, but the Behemoth and Titan classes. The two classes currently known to mankind represent the greatest threat a country could face if only the presence of a Titan-class Verg was more than one.

Behemoth-class Verg may still be able to be handled by a Cardinal-level Blazer but of course with difficulty, the problem is that Cardinal-level Blazers are not things that can be obtained as easily as looking for oranges.

Another case of the Behemoth class, the Titan-class Verg is probably the biggest threat that can be felt by a country. This class of Verg can only be handled by Divinity level Blazers, which Blazers of this level are even harder to find than Cardinal Blazers.

"If there is a Verg that exceeds the Titan class, then humanity may perish without rest" Haikal said in a trembling tone, he could not imagine if there was a Verg that was stronger than the Titan class.

Heru nodded in agreement unable to refute Haikal's words. Wulodhasia does not have a Divinity-level Blazer so if only one Titan-class Verg appears and the Blazer Association of the world or other countries does not provide assistance, then Wulodhasia can be said to be finished.

Both of them sighed as well as chills at the same time realizing how terrifying the Behemoth-class Verg was and Titan then thought there was a Verg that was stronger than that.

"By the way it is, Verg's Water-type Insect class is almost no different from ordinary fish in terms of form, right?" Heru asked a question all of a sudden.

Haikal pondered briefly in response to Heru's question, "I remember that it was true, but sometimes there was a small crab or hermit shape. Why?" Haikal asked feeling astonished towards his best friend who suddenly asked like that.

Heru pointed to a place not far from where they were resting, "Is that including the Verg Insect-class water-type?"

Heru's designated direction is located around a riverfront fence a few meters from them. There looks a creature shaped like a monkey but does not look to have fur like a monkey in general, more revealing gray skin that is wet because of water.

Haikal's eyes widened violently upon seeing Heru's designated figure, "Isn't that a Normal-grade Verg, Sea Monkey?! Why is it here?!" Haikal then turned his head back towards Heru, "You can just relax seeing that there is a real Verg in front of you! Quickly call the principal!"

After saying so Haikal grabbed Salvia's borrowed Soul Device which he hung on his waist at all times, then poured some amount of soul energy into it activating the green laser blade forming a thin sword. He then poured soul energy into the legs and kicked the concrete pavement darting towards the Sea Monkey.

Haikal's speed was not so fast when compared to the Warrior-type official Blazer, but the Sea Monkey showed its negligence so that it could not react to Haikal's arrival darting and decapitating his head in an instant.

Haikal immediately turned his attention to the banks of the other river and found dozens of Sea Monkeys climbing the cliff, "Verg can get in here without being detected or blocked by protectors?"

Haikal's face immediately turned full of fear watching the dozens of Sea Monkeys. As a Blazer candidate he must be able to face Verg, but at times like this his close combat ability is useless.

"Hey, get out of there!"

As Haikal was thinking about how to prevent the Verg-Verg from reaching land, a feminine voice cried out loudly from behind, followed by several shots from the sky destroying the Sea Monkeys.

One by one the Sea Monkey who was trying to climb the cliff separating the river and the land fell back into the river with terrible conditions, dragged the current to the river downstream.

The sight caught Haikal's attention before looking at a girl holding a pair of objects that appeared to be a pistol-shaped Soul Device. He was standing on the Skyboard, a gliding-shaped transport device without wheels and capable of hovering several meters in the air.

"Hm? Skymaze Academy Uniform?" Haikal's eyebrows shot up high watching the girl on the Skyboard, "It could finish off dozens of Normal-class Vergs in an instant.... Who's this girl?"
