"Ugh!" Salvia moaning in pain could feel a scratch on her abdomen caused by one of the Blackout members she was facing.
Salvia was caught off guard because her attention was shifted for a moment to Haikal, she was able to overcome one other attack using her snow, but because the two Blackout members were attacking from two different directions, she was able to deal with one another, Salvia simply could not resist the other attacks and ended up getting injured though not fatal.
"Heh, our attack is going to be bad! Let's keep attacking!" The Blackout member who managed to stage the attack on Salvia exclaimed excitedly at Salvia's agonizing reaction, making his partner even more confident.
The two of them then once again approached Salvia, this time from a different direction. They could see that Salvia lacked the soul energy to withstand or launch a wide-reaching attack like before so this was used by both of them.
Two Blackout members have Soul Arc in the form of short-range sharp weapons, one is in the form of a sword while the other has a Soul Arc of a kind. Everyone who saw it could tell that these two people were Warrior-type Blazers and Rogue, Blazers who fought at close range.
Supposedly according to the differences in Soul Arc, Salvia can surpass them considering that her Soul Arc is a snowflake, an ability of a kind of magic that is able to create and control snow. His attack range could be adjusted as he wished.
Unfortunately right now, Salvia did not have much soul energy after exerting the Blizzard Bullet Dominion some time ago. Not only did the move require a large amount of soul energy, but it also drained his mental strength from having to concentrate on many places at once.
In addition to the Blizzard Bullet Dominion that drained a lot of soul energy, Salvia was not in top condition since the fight against Verna in last match. Moreover, recently he also fought briefly with Verna because of the problem of treating Jack to Haikal.
This then made him unable to do much resistance, Salvia was beaten back and forced to survive by the two remaining Blackout members.
"Hmm, stubborn girl."
"Miss, it's better to just give up before things get worse. We know you're out of soul energy."
The words of the two Blackout members seemed to slap Salvia from afar, but without being told even though Salvia had understood the limits.
So far he has been lucky enough to beat several Intermidate-level Blazers at once in a single strike, it's because they underestimated Salvia. Now then? These two remaining Blackout members not only did not underestimate him, they even stepped in cautiously while attacking.
Salvia clicked her tongue feeling herself so unprofitable, "In addition to winning numbers, they were also more experienced in the fight than I was."
Salvia's words were not wrong. Blackout is a criminal Blazer organization that becomes a fugitive across the country, of course, because often troublemaking every Blackout member is more experienced in real combat than Salvia who has so far only fought in training and matches.
Salvia then turned her gaze for a moment to Haikal who was still asleep on top of her Snow Cloud snow pile, she then smiled wryly feeling admiration for Haikal in another sense, "It's great that you can sleep so soundly in such a dangerous situation."
She drew a few breaths trying to calm herself down, Salvia felt herself losing her concentration from relying too much on her Soul Arc and soul energy after seeing Haikal.
Salvia recalled clearly until now Haikal had not been able to awaken his Soul Arc so it only fought using the body as well as controlling pure soul energy.
Indeed Salvia was not very good at controlling pure soul energy, but in the time when the soul energy was thinning this was the only way she took.
"At least with this I can still put up a fight," Salvia said inwardly as she poured a certain amount of soul energy throughout the body strengthening each piece, then took the horses fighting bare-handed.
The two remaining Blackout members frowned for a moment before laughing out loud at Salvia's actions.
"Perhaps because he was still a Blazer candidate, he didn't understand the difference between the Blazer types" another Blackout member added, unable to stop laughing.
Salvia smiled coldly at the words of the two people, but she did not care about it and took advantage of their negligence from laughing. He focused a certain amount of soul energy on one side of his foot and stomped on the floor, darting swiftly towards one of them while charging a palm strike.
The two Blackout members were surprised to see Salvia darting off at an astonishing speed for the would-be Wizard-type Blazer, yet they could still react to Salvia's speed.
The Blackout member Salvia held up her sword-shaped Soul Arc and resisted Salvia's palm strike, "Heh, instead of successfully sheathing the attack it was your injured hand, right?"
The person sneered sinisterly in response to Salvia's sloppy punch, but a split second later he only realized that Salvia's palm did not bleed despite being hit by the sharp side of her opponent's Soul Arc sword.
"I'm not such a fool as to lash at an opponent wielding a sharp weapon with my bare hands" Salvia said in response to her opponent's reaction. It is not very clear or much, but it appears a thin layer of snow protects the Salvia site from the sharp blades of enemy swords.
The Blackout members wanted to react and counterattack, but Salvia had already taken action first, "Slow! Snow Blast!"
Salvia threw out her opponent using a certain amount of snow on her palm. It was not very powerful, but at least he managed to beat back the opponent and create chances.
"Not finished!" Salvia concentrated her soul energy as well as her snow on her arm, forming a sort of gigantic snow arm which then unhesitatingly pushed as hard as it might hit the opponent, "Snow Arm!"
Bruaak!
In one attack Salvia managed to defeat one of the Blackout members, but even so there was still one other Blackout member left.
The remaining Blackout members did not waste the defeat of his comrades in arms, he darted towards Salvia quickly with his sickle-shaped Soul Arc ready to be rained down, "Little girl!"
Of course as a Rogue-type Blazer the speed of the Blackout member far exceeds the pace of Salvia who is a candidate for the Wizard-type Blazer, but because of a little panic he thoughtlessly lunged at Salvia.
"Panic, huh?" Salvia gave a small smile in response to the actions of the Rogue-type Blackout member, making her realize that Salvia had prepared something for her.
Unfortunately though he realized, he was already trapped by the trap that Salvia prepared. Both of his legs were grasped by the amount of snow splattered on the floor, which surprised him.
The snow on that floor came from the Blizzard Bullet Dominion that Salvia used on the first attack that defeated several Blackout members earlier at once. She never expected Salvia to make use of the snow she had been wearing to set a trap.
"I don't think a Rogue-type Blazer like me is actually trapped by an opponent's trap" the Blackout members laughed wryly unable to move. He then looked at Salvia who had now darted towards him with a clenched hand, "This year's Blazer Candidate is truly terrible."
Regardless of the words of her opponent, Salvia threw her fist with all her might right at the heart of the Blackout member, successfully making him fall on the floor without awareness.
"I'm sorry, but I'm not a pure Wizard-type Blazer that relies only on my magic and Soul Arc," muttered Salvia clasped tightly onto her hand, feeling her first feeling of victory since being defeated by Edward.
