Absolute Soul
49. The Verg movement

"Verg's movements outside the border?" Haikal and heru immediately surrounded Anna asking a lot of things about Anna's words before, making the girl smile awkwardly to find the reaction of the two who did not match her expectations.

Anna sighed softly feeling herself wrongly saying, "You better not tell anyone this, just keep it to yourself." Both Haikal and Heru nodded quickly in response.

Anna then explains that she learned of this by accident from her father's conversation with someone via cell phone. Anna herself could not clearly capture the contents of the conversation, which she knew for sure was Verg outside the border had become more active in recent weeks.

"Is your father's information reliable?" Haikal asked somewhat doubtful of Anna's words, because he had never heard this in the news of the world per-Blazeran any.

"My father is only one level weaker than the principal, the Lord level Blazer, one of the higher-ups in the Wulodhasia branch of the Blazer Association. Why do you doubt it?" Anna pouted a little annoyed Haikal did not believe her.

Haikal smiled awkwardly as he remembered the position of Anna's father, Jeanbart Kindheart, a famous Blazer in Wuloldhasia. It wasn't every day that he was able to obtain information coming from a God-level Blazer, was it?

Haikal pondered for a moment about the possibility of a future Verg attack, considering that it had been several years since the massive Verg invasion took place in Wulodhasia, "It was not impossible that long as Verg gathered strength to invade mankind," Haikal murmured in his heart.

Heru also thought about something more or less the same, the information from the God-level Blazer as well as the higher-ups of the Blazer Union Association in Wulodhasia was not something that was difficult to ignore.

"Someo Kindheart!"

As the two begin to dissolve into each other's minds, Anna's name is summoned by Andre to enter the virtual space.

"Well, I guess we got here to our big conversation, I hope you don't tell the others this and prepare yourself as best you can if the time really comes," anna said before entering the virtual room and facing several Insect-class Vergs at once.

Haikal and Heru looked at each other, "Heru, if this information from Anna is correct then you should come train with me according to my training menu from now on." Haikal was worried that when Verg invaded and Heru was killed or seriously injured because his development was not optimal, it was his fault for hiding his practice all along.

"Isn't your training too heavy even for me who practice every day? I'm not sure I can do it two days in a row, let alone every day." Heru was confused to understand what made Haikal endure such harsh training.

Haikal smiled a little before starting to explain about the secret behind the exercise, about controlling the efficiency of soul energy through breathing, the nature of soul energy that can be used as a substitute for physical stamina, which is the nature of mental energy that can be used as a substitute for physical stamina, until possible side effects can occur.

Hearing all that Heru's emotions ignited, "You fuck! How dare you hide such a big fact all this time!" Heru immediately beat up Haikal as soon as his best friend finished explaining.

"Not hiding, I don't know what the side effects of practicing in such a way are! If I have side effects, then I won't tell you!" Not accepting Heru attack him, Haikal also returned his attack with enough energy.

"It's no different than hiding! Could you******* rhino!"

"Upill neptune motherfucker! Listen to people talk!"

In the end they fought each other and became the center of attention of the entire class, "What are they doing?" Even Andre who was in the glass room patted his forehead before descending and broke up the two.

After their small fight, Haikal and Heru are kicked out of the Virtual Training Room by Andre. They would be given a punishment after the 1-A class training in the virtual room was completely completed.

Currently the two were in the dressing room re-wearing the usual Skymaze academy uniform, but different from before were seen the invisible electricity spark between Haikal and Heru now, he said, before they finally breathed at the same time.

"I'm sorry, I was too emotional earlier." Without turning back Heru expressed his apology. He felt himself wrong for being carried away by emotions after knowing Haikal hid his way of training until he could be this strong.

As soon as the awkward atmosphere around subsided, Heru and Haikal turned their bodies around simultaneously and stared at each other before smiling which then followed the sound of laughter from each other.

"Good, the friend should have had a small fight. Otherwise the friendship would be tasteless" said a middle-aged man who entered the men's locker room abruptly, leaving Haikal and Heru a little surprised, "Head of school?!"

Yes, that figure was Veindal Volksky, the principal of this Skymaze Academy, the strongest and most respected figure in the entire Skymaze academy.

Haikal and Heru hurriedly put on their school uniforms to learn of Veindal's sudden arrival before greeting back, "Why is the principal here? Was our quarrel so violent that the principal came and punished us personally?" Heru spoke his mind earlier than Haikal, a little surprising to his best friend.

"Ahahaha, what an interesting opinion!" Veindal laughed loudly at Heru's statement for a few moments, "It's fine that you want to be punished by me, but that's not what I came here for."

Veindal then told me more or less the same thing as Anna had said some time ago, only Veindal's explanation was more detailed and complete.

"Most are Normal-class Vergs and Beasts?" Haikal's eyes widened knowing that the average Verg who made movements outside the border turned out to be a Normal class to a Beast, there were even several classes of Chimera and Goliath. Heru himself could not say anything so shocked.

Different from the keals Insect, Normal or Beast which includes the lower class Verg, the Chimera-class Verg and Goliath are categorized as middle-class Vergs that can only be fought by Master-level Blazers and above.

The Verg class Chimera generally had a minimum magnitude of five meters and upwards and its strength was equivalent to a Master level Blazer, a level Blazer, while the Goliath-class Verg usually has the smallest size of about 30 meters and requires a Lord-level Blazer to be able to compensate.

"What would happen to Wulodhasia if they really attacked?" Haikal shed cold sweat imagining if the Verg attacked Wulodhasia, Heru's mind was not much different from Haikal.

Veindal could see Haikal and Heru's concern, "I am telling you this information not to frighten you, but to warn you not to let your guard down at all" Veindal explained patting them on the shoulder, "You remember the Arastel tragedy, don't you?"

Haikal and Heru nodded slowly still remembering the terrible tragedy that occurred about ten years ago.

The tragedy of Arastel, a tragedy that occurred about ten years ago in the region of West Borneo, precisely in the largest city in the province, Arastel.

Described in several historical books or media, the Arastel Tragedy is one of the greatest and most horrific tragedies of the post-war war against Verg on First Doom and Second Doom.

How not? A great city like Arastel, the heart of the third kingdom of Wulodhasia, was destroyed overnight. Reportedly this was caused by the sudden arrival of Verg and managed to penetrate the protective layer of the city.

The sudden attack destroyed Arastel and several surrounding towns, turning large parts of West Borneo into barren territory, and several small towns on the outskirts of Central Borneo were also affected.

"I am informing you of this information so that you can train more vigorously and swiftly if the Vergs outside this border are really trying to invade us" Veindal explained trying to calm the two.

They nodded quickly and thanked Veindal before the white-haired middle-aged man left the changing room.

"Heru, after school, stop by my house, we will start training immediately" Haikal's pinta looked at Heru, while the friend next to him nodded softly in approval of Haikal's request.

They are both aware that although their strength and experience may not be on par with even the Newbie or Intermidate level Blazers, they should at least be able to protect themselves so as not to burden other Blazers.

From that day on both Haikal and Heru underwent harsher training than before using Haikal training methods, they also plan to invite Salvia to train together if the girl recovers and is able to practice again.
