Absolute Soul
92. Sakuya's Identity

Each academy that focuses on educating young Blazer candidates recognized by the Blazer Association has a specific organization that is more or less equivalent to the Guild, namely Harbinger.

Harbinger is a special student organization consisting of talented Blazer candidates in their respective academies. Perhaps this organization is similar to OSIS in ordinary schools, the difference is that Harbinger emphasizes more on the strength and fighting ability of its members as a condition of being one of them.

In addition to being an organization that leads student activities in an academy, Harbinger is also an organization of fighters from the academy. This organization is filled by students whose strength and ability are recognized as equivalent to official Blazers but have not become one of them thanks to certain provisions.

Harbinger's position is more or less the same as the Guild in the fight, only Harbinger is not as free as the Guild and only receives orders from their respective academics.

The requirements to become Harbinger itself is very difficult because only talented and selected students can become members, they Harbinger can be said to be the strongest people in the academy.

Therefore, the entire meeting room is filled with excitement due to the arrival of Sakuya, a Harbinger of Skymaze Academy, but can immediately calm down because understanding the situation of Adele and the academy now allows Harbinger to move.

"Ah, it turns out that Sakuya's sister is a Harbinger. I wouldn't be surprised why he was able to finish off so many Sea Monkeys back then," Haikal muttered smiling wryly as he looked at the badge that Sakuya was holding.

Heru nodded softly in response to Haikal's murmur putting on a similar expression, "Well, there's no way someone who is able to finish off dozens of Sea Monkeys in an instant just an ordinary disciple."

Both Haikal and Heru had actually guessed Sakuya's identity when she first met given the difficulty of finding a Blazer candidate who could kill dozens of Normal-class Vergs in just a few moments.

Haikal was indeed able to defeat several Ear-Dogs who were Normal-class Vergs in a short time, but he was helped by Salvia who controlled the snow guarding him from behind, while Sakuya?

The girl was even able to slaughter a dozen Normal-class Vergs by herself, not something ordinary Blazer candidates could do. It is not so difficult to guess his identity as one of Harbinger with such a strong power.

"Hmm? Oh, Haikal! Arcless Blazers! You're here apparently!"

Upon finding Haikal sitting leaning against the wall with Salvia, Heru, and Verna, Sakuya immediately greeted and approached them, then shook Haikal's hand and swung him down quickly. Of course it invited the attention of the entire room which now looked at Haikal in shock.

"Where have you been? I was looking for you after your match against this kid, you know. I'm afraid you were kidnapped by those Blackouts," said Sakuya scowling as she pointed at Jack who was now approaching and gave a loud bellow that successfully made Sakuya scream.

"What are you doing, Jack?! I'm your senior at school!" Sakuya rubbed her slightly swollen head.

Jack paid no heed to Sakuya's words and floated another story, once again succeeding in making Sakuya scream in pain, "You've already caught me once, why else now?!"

"First, your arrival doesn't help quite the contrary even if you're a Harbinger! Second!" Jack had already raised his hand about to give another as Sakuya hugged Haikal's arm trying to hide, making the veins in Jack's temple appear and pointed at him, "If you are indeed a senior, then behave like one!"

Jack pulled the leg Sakuya wanted to give another prank while the girl clutched Haikal's arm more firmly as if not wanting to part. On the other hand Haikal's expression was fickle to be difficult to detect, looking confused, surprised, and in pain.

The scene then not only confused Haikal, but also the whole room looked astonished at the attitude of Jack and Sakuya that they had never seen at all.

"It's so bad of you, Jack! I'm both outside and inside reflecting Harbinger!"

"reflect Harbinger on your head!" Jack gave another story to Sakuya's crown, this time harder to make the girl crouch in pain holding her head that was already a big bump.

All the first-class students who saw the scene no longer cared about the identity of Sakuya who was one of Harbinger Skymaze, they were more interested in the relationship of the two who looked very close.

There was a student who asked about it but Jack did not explain the relationship between the two of them any further, he shifted the topic towards the proposed evacuation direction earlier.

"Why not go south? Isn't that the safest route?" Sakuya argued while rubbing Jack's scar on her head.

"I think so too but...." Jack then explained the situation of the refugees from the arena in this building, although the number is relatively small compared to the refugees in other buildings, because many injured took the southern route was a little problematic.

Sakuya nodded softly understanding the refugee situation in this building, she could see him on the way here, "Alright, then I'll take care of the refugees towards the southern evacuation site."

"You sure you can?" Jack raised his eyebrows in doubt.

"Hey, I'm someone who was chosen as Harbinger." Sakuya pulled out a pair of pistols from her waist, then turned the two pistols in her hand for a moment, "If it's not Verg on top of the Chimera-class then just leave it to me."

Jack squinted his eyes at Sakuya still a little hesitant to see the attitude of the girl who was completely incompatible with someone who bore the name Harbinger before sighing heavily as if resignedly, "Well good, do as you please."

Sakuya flicked her lips at Jack's forced reply, she turned her attention to Haikal, "Hey, Haikal, is this boy's attitude like this when he's with you?"

"Ehm, I don't think so, brother. I also just saw Jack this time until emotions responded to someone's words," Haikal replied smiling wryly admitting to surprise at Jack's attitude which so far looks calm and not easily carried away by emotions.

"What did you say?" Jack glanced at Sakuya with cold eyes, he could hear the conversation of the two people.

Sakuya immediately hugged Haikal's arm once again intending to take refuge from Jack's talisman, luckily the blond young man only let out a long sigh not thinking about Sakuya's words any further.

Jack then directed all Blazer candidates in the room to tell the refugees in the first-class building that in half an hour or less they would move to the southern evacuation site via the nearest route.

Of course, with the news that a Harbinger and a potential Blazer who could fight would protect them, it could ease the concerns of the refugees.

The Blazer candidates immediately scattered to all corners of the first-class building to spread the news.

Jack himself let out a sigh of relief one part was over, he then turned his gaze towards Haikal group and another, "So, what about you guys?"
