"Nandini, thank you for standing up for us. But sorry, we have to go. Come on, Neha."
"No, no, no. Please don't. Don't go, okay? Please, for my brother's sake, just ignore what Sister Sheveni said. Would please? Please, Alisah?"
"No, Nandini, we still have to go. But don't worry, I'll call HansH immediately and I'll explain everything. But for sure, both of us, I mean me and Neha, we both need time, we can't be here while things go awry. I hope you understand."
Unable to bear it, Nandini cried again. "Please, whatever it is, I just don't want my brother to get hurt again. Please don't go, Alisah. I beg. Poor Brother HansH. Think of him-"
"Sst... What are you talking about, Nandini?" I clasped his hands together and wrapped his pack gently. "Listen to me, I'm not leaving HansH, okay? I have to go to see your other brother, Sanjeev. He needs me. And I promise you, I'll bring your families together. It's my oath."
Nandini. "Don't go" he asked, replying to my hand, insisting on holding me there. "Please don't go, please?"
"Nandini, please," I said as I took his hand off me. "Please understand. I gotta go. But I promise, once my business is done, I'll be right back here. I'll keep HansH informed anyway. You don't have to worry, okay? Calm down." I hugged her for a while, then smiled. "We go first. See you soon."
Helpless, Nandini could only silently watch as Neha and I walked away, leaving the house.
It was heavy, and my position was also wrong. But I can't help but care about Brother Sanjeev. I can't for nothing in the moment no matter what happens to her. I gotta go. I have to make sure I'm always there for my brother. Want our world destroyed though, he's still my brother. He's my only family right now.
Out of Mahesvara's house, Neha and I didn't talk about anything until we stood on the right side of the front of the big gate of the house waiting for a taxi.
"I'm sorry" said Neha. "So I didn't think long. I thought...."
I nodded, I looked at him with a smile and touched his arm as usual. "It's okay. I understand," I said. "I know what you mean well. You just want to save my place. So thank you. I appreciate your good intentions, Neha. You're my best friend."
"You really understand me, Zia. Thank you." Thank you."
We hugged, and a moment later a taxi stopped in front of us.
Bugs!
Neha.
"Who are y'all? What do you want?"
It's strange! You idiot! All four of those questions were triggered by me at the time of the bad incident when it happened so fast-as fast as lightning: a car with the text of a Taxy on it, stopped right in front of us, and stopped right in front of us, then a man suddenly walked out the back door and pushed Neha straight away until she fell on the shoulder of the road. Then, as I was about to help Neha - - in my inattention - the man quickly pulled me over and immediately pushed me into the car. There were two men who kidnapped me, one driving the car and the other holding me, holding a gun to my head in the backseat. And I don't know where they're taking me.
"Zoe...!" roar Neha faintly sounded behind there while the car was speeding. He tried to catch a taxi that took me away but it was free. In my panic, I saw him gasping for breath and then running back to the Mahesvara residence.
As for me, panic invaded my mind, and for a while I became uncontrollable, letting fear overwhelm me. I shouted from inside the car so that it provoked the emotions of the man next to me and made him grow furious and instead slapped me hard.
The man next to me chuckled. "Oh, you want to get acquainted? Okay. Then introduce, my name is Sam."
So annoying. If the man didn't hold a firearm, I'd have him duel once he slapped me.
"Shoppers! I don't care what your name is!"
"Then you care about what? My chivalry? Hmm?"
"Shoppers! You scoundrel! Keep that talking!"
"That's how the kidnappers are, miss. We can't be polite."
Argha!
That bastard!
"Why did you kidnap me? Who told you to?"
Like in a soap opera story, where maybe they'll tell me.
"Who? You don't need to know. For sure we are only people who are given a great reward for pleasure. Sori, let kuralat, I mean, to give you pleasure."
Goddamnit!
I grinned. "Easement? Whatchu mean?" I asked, as if I didn't understand, but instead, I understood. "Hey, look, don't fuck with me. You better let me go and I'll give you more money."
The two men chuckled. The sound of their laughter makes me sick and angry. But, finally, I can remind myself to stay calm. Whether the car moves or not, I still cannot escape from them because of the firearms they have. I don't want to die silly.
That thought made me a little calm. While the man next to me ransacked my handbag and found my broken phone then threw it into the street, my hand slowly groped down *antatku to drop my phone that I accidentally sat on when I fell because driven by the bad guy. And I managed to drop my phone on the floor of the car, behind my dangling dress, of course by using my feet I immediately shifted it under the chair. Fortunately, the two men did not get to see the phone in my hand, which eventually fell into the car seat when I was pushed in and was accidentally crushed by me while I sat down. The GPS on my phone is active, while the ringtone of my phone happens to be off. At least HansH will be able to track where I am while I also try to save myself.
On the other hand, while I was investigating in my silence, I pretended to exert all my concentration to watch the criminal talk to me.
Yep, he responded to my words. "Interesting," he said. "Miss offer may also. But unfortunately, we work with a high commitment. So, I'm sorry, miss. Your offer was rejected."
Oh my God.. How is this? I was almost frustrated, and it felt as if the car had been driving for hours and I felt very tormented with the two criminals. And damn again, I really don't know where we're headed. All I can do is stay calm and gather strength plus courage.
I can definitely save myself. Whatever and how.
