Self Healing

Self Healing
Episode 25 Medan, I'm Coming!

The departure of the two of us to the oil palm plantation in North Sumatra only leaves 3 days. We both returned to my parents' house in Kelapa Gading, because I had to prepare all my luggage.

I focused on preparing the home supplies, so that I could stay there comfortably. Bed linen, curtains and some cooking equipment have been prepared which will be delivered through the aircraft cargo and will arrive together with our arrival in Medan.

2 Large suitcases each with a capacity of 25 kg have also been filled with my clothes and Tyo and my recipe book collection.

I'm the one who served as the stylish Tyo, making sure the clothes he would wear were compatible with my appearance. That said, I haven't been married to her for a week, but I've already changed more than half of her wardrobe. Especially for casual clothes outside the home.

"We arrived in Medan at 9:30 a.m. Trus train schedule at 13, so we will shop first in Medan," said Tyo.

"Until Langga Umbrella about what time?" my many.

"Hmm we get to the Prapat Range at 7 pm, continue to ride the car about 2 hours. At 9 p.m., I got home, '" replied Tyo.

"Are you picked up again?" my many.

"Yes, the name of the driver is Wak Gepeng, he was Mas driver there, who taught him to drive as well. The plantation area is like an off-road road, so be taught the technique of driving, which is certainly not easy," replied Tyo.

I also tried to imagine the natural conditions that I would meet, with the limitations of the internet at that time, there was not much information that I got about the cities that I would pass on the way to Langga Payung.

The next morning, after Shubuh we left for Soetta Airport with 2 cars. 1 family car and 1 more family Tyo.

Before leaving, as usual, my father will do an inspection.

"Ticket already?" ask dad.

"Already, Sir. It's a plane ticket and it's a train ticket" Tyo replied.

"Tyo, later to Medan, there will be someone to pick up, you have asked the Medan Branch people to pick you up, and he said he would like to shop, yes just use his car for your needs," said my father.

"Eh, will you be picked up by the office driver?" my many.

"It's not just the office driver, it's like Mr. Ali was picked up, at most his wife too" replied my father.

"Pak Ali saha tea?" my many.

"Chief of Medan Branch, relax, yesterday they also came to your reception, really," replied my father.

"Wow, well you know. Blind face! Yes, Father, why didn't you say? If you know that, I'm not afraid of the face of the office of the Father," I protested.

"No need to be memorized, he knows you, later he will be the nyamperin, too" answered my father.

Well this is how the fate of being the son of the Director of Operations whose offices are spread in almost all cities in Indonesia. Moreover, the city of Medan, the city of my birth, where my father started his career, surely the employees in my father's office already knew of my arrival.

Arriving at Soetta Airport, we say goodbye to our parents and relatives who took us.

"Be careful, remember, you are already a wife, so it is not the father of the mother who is responsible for you, but Tyo. Respect and serve him well, as I have already exemplified, how you serve your father every day. I'm sure you can stay on the plantation for 2 years" said the mother, hugging me tightly.

"Yes, Mom. Ask for his prayers yes, ma'am," I said with a tight hug back.

"Mom always prays for the children of mothers, so that they are always given safety, health and the best in their lives" said the mother before kissing both cheeks.

After that, I said goodbye to Tyo's mother, who looked sad to let go of her youngest child again.

"Son Lina, be careful. Be well there, take care of each other, which gets along," said Tyo's mother with teary eyes as she hugged me tightly.

"Yes, Mom. Ask for his prayer yes, ma'am," I replied with a tight reply to his embrace.

After saying goodbye we both entered the airport check-in room which was crowded with prospective passengers. This was my first trip without being with my parents, which made me quite nervous.

The nervousness gradually disappeared, after we both finished checking in and entered the waiting room.

"Later we sit at 8A and B" Tyo said, showing his ticket.

"Would you like to buy some bread or something else?" ask Tyo.

"No" I answered briefly.

"In 30 minutes, what do you want?" ask Tyo.

"Main congklak," I answered that made Tyo laugh.

"Mas just found out, if darling is funny," said Tyo.

"Hmmm just found out, congratulations. Finally you found out my disguise," I said, which again made Tyo laugh.

"It looks like I'm going to stay young" Tyo said.

I also glanced at him.

"Oh, be careful not to use preservatives, Doctor should know," I said.

This time Tyo really laughed and instantly his hand was pointed at my head.

"Stop!! Move your hand!" it was me who surprised Tyo.

"Sorry, but from the past, I couldn't hold his head, just ask mom. I can't, it feels heavy, trus yaa if anyone wants to hold my head, my hands reflex, for the nepis of his hand, already auto nih hand," I explained.

"Oh that, why? Is it because of the head surgery first?" ask Tyo.

"Far before the surgery his head was like that, if you don't believe me just ask my mother," I replied.

"Well, can't it be romantic like dong people?" tyo protest.

"How romantic, you mean?" my many.

"Yes, usually the guy likes to grumble the girl's head that way," replied Tyo.

"Oh, that's normal, if I'm amazing, so unusual" I said.

"Why didn't you ever have fun in class?" ask Tyo.

"Yaa kaali, I'm joking later the more you have a crush. I am fierce bin Jutek aja many like, especially if the complete package as well as comedians. My side like this, is only intended for certain circles, not arbitrarily able to enjoy the cuteness of Halina. Title limited edition," I replied that this time really made Tyo laugh again.

"Yes, limited edition is expensive" said Tyo.

We talked until we heard the boarding call flight to Medan.

"Mas, I called mom first, the message was that the boarding was immediately reported," I said.

"Mas also wants to call mom" said Tyo.

We both contacted our mothers, after which we lined up to get on the plane.

This is my flight after almost 12 years of not traveling by plane. The last flight was when I was on vacation to Padang and Bukit Tinggi, with my parents and my two younger siblings, which was a few months before I developed nephrotic syndrome.

Direct flights to Polonia Airport, Medan is taken in almost 2.5 hours. I'm getting tired of talking to Tyo, I'm bored, there's not much interesting to talk to him about, because our world is different.

To that end, I took my diary and started writing about this trip. Tyo looked at me and asked, "Write what?"

"Recipes," I replied as long as I somehow always make Tyo laugh.

"Here, Mas can also write recipes," said Tyo.

"Yeee, that's a prescription, all medication, I don't need" I replied as I continued to write.

"What's the blinds?" ask Tyo.

"That's silent" I replied in my heart.

Tyo kept looking at me because I didn't answer him, which made me close my book.

"Need a snack," I replied while standing and then walking towards the minimarket in the waiting room.

Tyo walked quickly to follow. Then he took my hand.

"Yes, forgot it. I have a husband, not alone anymore. If you want to go, you have to be together," said Tyo.

"Not forgetting, yes, the times I forgot there was this big human near me" I replied.

Arriving at the minimarket, I bought some bread and other snacks, while Tyo bought 2 bottles of drinks.

After that, we sat back in the waiting room and ate the bread we had just bought.

Shortly after we finished our bread, the announcement of boarding the flight we were about to board was echoed.

"Good morning to the honourable passengers. The boarding call for Garuda flight with flight number GA 769 to Polonia Airport, Medan, is expected to prepare the boarding pass and identity card at door C7, thank you."

While double-checking no one was left behind, we also contacted our respective parents.

"Mom, I'm boarding now, yeah."

"Yes, careful. Remember in the check all let no one be left behind" said my mother.

"Yes, Mom. Yowes I matain HPnya ya. Assalamu'alaikum."

"Wa'alaikumsalam."

Before long in line, hand in hand, we walked towards the plane using a garbarata.

Arriving at the door of the plane, we began marching one by one, to head to the intended seat number.

Thank God, we got the starting number, so it didn't take long because of the queue, we were able to sit comfortably in our seats.

A moment after sitting down, I immediately put up my seat belt as well as Tyo. Then, he clasped my hand tightly and said, "Bismillah, we're heading for the field. God willing, we're up to 2.5 hours."

"At 9:30" I said.

Shortly after, our plane took off towards Medan.
