Self Healing

Self Healing
Episode 52 of Operation Five?

I went to Jakarta with Tyo and Zalfa, who were then a year and a half old. Arriving at the airport, Tyo asked for wheelchair facilities for me because of my vertigo.

For that, I had to go through a health check at the airport before check-in. After getting a flying permit, I also got the main facility for this flight, which is that we first entered the plane before the boarding announcement.

That way, the cabin crew can provide extra service to me, from before boarding the plane to getting off the plane.

"Bu Lina, I'm Aida cabin crew on your flight this morning. I helped you get on the plane, yeah."

"Thank you, Ma'am," I said.

He then pushed the wheelchair up to the door of the plane with Zalfa in my lap.

"It's funny, how old is Mom" asked Aida, pushing my wheelchair.

"One and a half years, Ma'am."

"That's really you, deck. Oiya, what's her name ?"

"Name is Zalfa."

After arriving at the door of the plane, I had to walk to enter the cabin of the plane. When the cabin crew saw that I was holding Zalfa, they quickly helped me by holding Zalfa to enter the cabin.

"Guys see this is so funny, wear the hijab again!" exclaim the cabin crew who carried Zalfa.

One by one the cabin crew approached Zalfa. Zalfa, who was used to strangers, did not cry and was very happy with the hospitality of the cabin crew.

"Mom, can I borrow Zalfa for a second? You want a photo together, can you?" ask one of the cabin crew to me.

"May, go ahead, please" I replied.

From the baby, Zalfa has attracted the attention of many people who see it, compliments such as funny, ngggemesin and many more, always thrown. Especially since I was sick and Zalfa became often taken care of by others, making him not afraid of strangers.

Moments before the boarding call, Zalfa had returned to my lap.

"Mom, Zalfa's sister had the same photo of the captain in the cockpit. Captain seneng really see Zalfa's sister," said Nina, the cabin crew.

"Well, get in the cockpit! His mother is not yet!" candaku.

"Gesin anyway, Mom. We had a lot of pictures, not papa, Mom."

"No papa, Ma'am. I'm glad that Zalfa can comfort you all" I replied.

"Yes, make a mood booster. Then, excuse me. Thank you, Mom."

"Together, Mother."

Before long, one by one the passenger seats began to fill up and soon, the plane took off towards Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang. Taking a flight for one hour and forty-five minutes, feels very short with the hospitality of the cabin crew.

Before getting off the plane, the pilot and co-pilot took the time to meet us.

"Good way, may the flight provide comfort for you" the pilot told Tyo.

"Thank you, Kapt," replied Tyo.

The hand of the flight crew delivered my arrival at Soetta Airport, making this flight a very memorable one for me.

After that, Tyo immediately took me to Pertamina Sentul Hospital to do an MRI. Tyo chose the hospital, because it has known well the radiology doctor on duty, making it easier and also speed up the MRI procedure.

The next day I was scheduled to consult a neurosurgeon in preparation for the operation, dr. Lucas, the doctor who operated on me for the first time.

After the consultation ended, Tyo explained to me why all the processes had accelerated.

"Now it's mid-Radhan, so Rio wants to keep Honey together with the family during Lebaran, so it's accelerated."

"So that will operate on that darling, Rio. Rio was the younger brother of the class when he was in college. He is now his assistant dr. Lucas, so all his operations are dr. Lucas, Rio's a fuss, because dr. Lucas was already sepuh and he could not operate anymore. But be calm, dr. Lucas will be there, later he will be in the operating room." explained Tyo again.

So on Monday morning, I was in the operating room and was waiting for dr. Lucas and dr. Rio.

"O Allah, this is very cold," my mind because the operating room must be temperature in the range of 19-22°C.

I felt my feet cold and covered only with a blue cloth and very much wished for the operation to begin soon.

Shortly after, dr. Lucas and dr. Ryo came into the operating room wearing a blue robe and mask that covered part of his face.

"Are you ready, Lin? We'll start in a minute. Hopefully this will be your last operation" said dr. Lucas my.

After that, the anesthetic was put in and I was unconscious.

A few hours later, I was in the ICU room with a bandage covering my head. The heavy feeling in my head and the extreme sleepiness, brought me back to sleep. I don't know how long I slept and I finally woke up with Tyo by my bedside.

"Mas, Mas," called me in a soft voice.

Hearing my voice, Tyo who was reading the magazine immediately put down his magazine, then he approached me with a gentle smile.

"Hey, you awake?" tyo replied gently while stroking my cheek.

"What time is it?" tanyaku.

"Hour 8 nights. Honey, want a drink?"

I answered him by nodding my head which felt very heavy.

He took a glass of warm water and helped me drink it.

"How long was I in surgery? Trus, how many hours' sleep?" aska.

"The operation was completed at twelve, so it was about three hours more. After that, Darling slept, hmm about nearly twelve hours," Tyo replied.

"Kok, the old operation? Wasn't it until two hours were over? How come it's three hours?" my many.

"Duh critical wake-up like this? Relax first, Yang," Tyo replied with a small laugh.

"Who, mas mauiin while darling eat huh?" tyo continued while starting to bribe me with dinner.

"So, the previous surgery time that made you lose memory, remember? the old hose can not be taken, so the end is the same dr. Adi's got a hose next to him."

I also nodded.

"Alhamdulillah, the hose can be taken, continue to be installed a new hose. After the hose is installed, dr. Lucas made a well of brain fluid over the forehead. Just in case, if there is another blockage that requires taking a sample of brain fluid, which is enough to take from the well that has been made earlier," explained Tyo who I do not understand.

"Even if I don't go back, but yes" I replied.

"Now it's a pity to eat it spent, keep taking the medicine, yeah," Tyo said.

After taking the medicine, I fell asleep again until morning. I went back to having vertigo, which I think is the effect of surgery. I felt the pain and discomfort of the first operation, in which I had vertigo for almost six months.
