Self Healing

Self Healing
Episode 30 2 Red Line

Working as a plantation doctor in charge of several division areas, enough to make Tyo often get calls outside working hours. As when we finished dinner, we were both busy watching a movie on TV, suddenly the sound of a motorbike stopped in front of the house.

"Assalamu'alaikum, Doc! Assalamu'alaikum!" call a man who makes me run straight to the master room to wear my hijab.

Tyo quickly opened the door after making sure I wasn't seen.

"Wa'alaikumsalam's chat. What's up, Wak?"

"Gino boiler operator, hit by the hot steam, Doc!"

Without asking further, Tyo immediately took his car keys and went to the clinic.

"Mas, go to the clinic first. Honey, don't wait, go to sleep first. Bring the key. Honey in the room, yeah. Assalamu'alaikum," said Tyo in a hurry while peeking at my forehead.

"Wa'alaikumsalam" I replied.

I was left alone at home. I don't want to go back to watching television shows, which to get national television broadcasts, we have to use a satellite dish, without a satellite dish we just get a bunch of black ants.

Mobile phone signals must also use an additional antenna installed outside the house, because without an additional antenna, there is no active cell phone signal. I really am in the middle of the forest.

Tyo knew of my habit of being afraid of being alone, even more so at night. So, he always prepared snacks for me that he put in the room before he left because of emergency calls. His attention to me slowly melted my heart and made me often spoiled for her. Something I never imagined, if I could be spoiled for someone.

I also fell asleep while waiting for Tyo to come home. Then I woke up, hearing the sound of vehicles stopping next to the house.

Before long, the door of my room opened, "Assalamu'alaikum," greeted Tyo with a smile.

"Wa'alaikumsalam" I replied.

Tyo always washed his hands before he came to me after work. Then he kissed my forehead.

"I'm sorry, old," said Tyo.

"No papa, no duty" I replied.

"What about the patient?" my many.

"Sent to RSUD because of burns, although minor burns, but it is better to be treated in a hospital whose equipment is more complete and more hygienic," replied Tyo.

I saw that his eye bags looked thicker, due to fatigue.

"Dear sleep again, Mas want to take a shower first" he said with a smile.

"Hmm what time is it? my many.

" Tuh, 22:30," Tyo replied as he pointed towards the wall clock.

"That's almost 2 hours, Mas gone?"

"Yes, I will wait until his condition is completely stable and ready to be taken to the hospital" replied Tyo.

"Mas was going to go to the hospital, but it was forbidden to go with Bu Yeti, he said let Anwar who left, he said, because she's used to taking patients to the hospital and Ms. Yeti said that Ms. Lina's kasian was left alone at home" he continued.

"Yowes, take a shower first. It's a pity that you don't need to do anything, just stay in bed" he said before entering the bathroom.

Emergency calls do not know the time, because the factory operates 24 hours with 3 divisions of work schedule. The parent clinic never closes, because it follows the same work schedule as the factory. Anwar is the only male nurse who is experienced enough. She is about 2 years older than Tyo, while Bu Yeti is the Head of the Parent Clinic. He is a nurse who has worked for more than 10 years in the parent clinic, so he has understood the intricacies of emergency cases that often occur both from factory employees and garden employees.

The following days returned to normal as usual, but somehow the last few days I felt my body ache, my appetite was reduced. I checked the calendar on the dresser.

After Tyo came home from work, I complained about my situation.

"Mas, my body does everything?"

"Today have you eaten yet? What was that earlier?" ask Tyo.

"I've eaten, but a little, really good. Trus I did not say anything, but my body was all sealed, very sick," I explained.

Tyo fell silent, and then he counted my pulse.

"Normal" he said.

"Yang, try the test pack," continued Tyo.

"Ah males, last month also tried up to 2 times, but negative. Dear test pack," I replied.

"Which, last month was negative, who knows now is positive. It's 5 days late, isn't it? Look, lately it is a decrease in appetite darling. Try it again in the test. Bismillah," said Tyo while giving me a pregnancy test pack.

I followed her and went to the bathroom to do a pregnancy test.

After a few minutes of waiting, with anxious expectation, I took the pregnancy test kit and together we looked at the results.

Vaguely looks 2 red lines, which makes me a little doubt the result, but it is different with Tyo.

"Alhamdulillah, Who! it's positive!" he said with a radiant face.

But I am still not sure, because 2 lines that seem very thin.

"It's so thin" I said.

"Yes this is still thin, but this means staying positive. Which, darling positive Yang!" she said with excitement while hugging and kissing me but I just fell silent not reacting to anything.

"Which, Saturday afternoon we go to Rantauprapat, we check to obgyn yes, but sorry here there are no female obgyn, in the hospital there are men, if you want the women should be in the big city," continue Tyo.

"Well, if that's the case, how else?" my answer is to understand the situation and condition of both of us who live far abroad.

I don't know what I feel when I know I'm positive, the shadows will have to mix happily I don't feel right now. Though this pregnancy has been awaited since the first month I married Tyo.

As planned, on the weekend we went to Rantauprapat to check my pregnancy after Tyo came home from the clinic. The journey that almost took 3 hours was paid off when I saw the results of my USG in the clinic dr. Erka Shahputra, SpOG.

"Alhamdulillah, congratulations here listed the estimated gestational age of about 6-8 weeks and the estimated delivery around the first week to mid-May next year" said dr. Erka.

Then dr. Erka gave me a multivitamin prescription that I must consume during pregnancy.

"All the vitamins that I wrote it must be consumed yes, because a pregnant mother needs more nutrients for the health and growth of her fetus. If there is nausea, can take nausea relievers, if it is felt necessary. I don't think it needs to be at length, her husband must understand too," said dr. Erka.

"It's Allah, Doc" replied Tyo.

"The next month can check here or check with her husband himself, too" continued dr. Erka.

"Check it out yourself, Doc," I replied.

"Well, then check again in week 15, yes" said dr. Erka before ending my investigation.
