Episode 45 Disneyland and Macau

Visiting Disneyland is the most anticipated part of this holiday. I was like going back to childhood where every Tuesday afternoon, I was always excited to wait for my father to come home from the office, because he always brought Donald Duck comics, he said, my favorite comic with my brother and sister.

"Where are you going?" ask Tyo.

"You go with the group, don't want to search for yourself, fear of missing," I replied.

We also followed the group to the first vehicle, which is down the river using an automatically controlled boat guided by a guide.

The right and left rivers are designed with views of Jurassic Park and The Lion King, making me really feel in a fantasy land.

A unique experience was when we entered a 3-dimensional cinema, where we were treated to the films Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse. There was a scene that showed Donald splashing water at the audience and all of us watching were hit by the splashing water. Then, when the scene was foggy, suddenly smoke came out from the side and front of the studio. Then the sound of a horse-drawn carriage from the back of the studio grew louder, until we looked up and saw a 3-dimensional horse-drawn carriage from the back to the screen. This amazed the audience.

"If Icha and Ara were to come, it would be really nice!" I yelled at Tyo after coming out of the studio.

"Do'akan Mas will get more sustenance, so it can take children on vacation here or at least Singapore," said Tyo.

"Aamiyin."

Then we went through several places to take pictures with Disney characters, such as Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Aladin and Princess Jasmine, Cinderella, Aurora, Snow White and many more.

"Disney's princesses are all so cute, similar to the ones in the movie" I said.

"You want to take a photo?" ask Tyo.

"No, why. Where are we going again?"

"We're going to souvenir shops, yuk!" bring Tyo.

"Let's go!"

We also headed to a store that sells a variety of trinkets themed Disney cartoon characters. Dolls, stationery, cutlery, clothes, blankets, towels and much more, made me want to take them all and put them in my shopping basket. But as usual, after seeing the price, I put it down again.

"Buy it, stay here" said Tyo.

"No, mending to others. Go to another store, Mom!" take me.

I also took Tyo's hand to the other souvenir shop. Then there, I found a bag made of transparent plastic, which contains 5 Disney characters, namely Mickey, Minni, Donald, Daisy, Goofi and Pluto.

"Mas, how about we buy this for the kids?" my many.

"May, all the key chains buy the same sticker, they like to mengumpulin stickers," replied Tyo.

"Okay, sip!"

After shopping, we headed to the foodcourt, because we had entered lunch time and we were faced with halal problems. The absence of halal labels on food in the country of Pearl of the East makes us difficult.

"Choose fried food, chicken krispi with french fries, the safest food for now" said Tyo.

"Mas, take the package 1 yes, can rice, chicken, potatoes and eggs, want to add a burger?" ask Tyo.

In the afternoon, visitors have started to stand in line to wait for the Disney parade, as well as me and Tyo. I was on duty with a handycam in hand, while Tyo was with his pocket camera and we were both waiting for the start of the march.

Shortly thereafter, Disney's jingle sounded from the marching band that marked the start of the march. One-by-one characters walk or ride a vehicle that is designed typical of Disney films. I also imagined if I brought my two daughters here, they would be very happy.

The day began to darken, the sunlight was changed by light. Disney Castle also looks different from the color of the lights on the exterior wall. We both just sat looking at this artificial beauty, the beauty of the cartoon world embodied in the real world.

Shortly before the closing, all the visitors regrouped. This time, we gathered in front of the palace to watch the fireworks, which was held as a sign of the end of all games and activities at Disneyland.

It's not Disney if it's just a regular fireworks game. Fireworks attractions were formed to resemble Disney characters. Not enough there, laser and hologram games are presented that amaze all visitors. We are also very satisfied to have enjoyed the excitement of playing at Disneyland.

Right at 9 p.m., one-by-one visitors start leaving the dream playground of all the children in the world. Likewise with our group who are tired and want to rest immediately at the hotel.

The next day was our schedule to visit Macau Island, for which we headed to the ferry port that would take our entourage to Macau Island. We traveled for about an hour, before we finally arrived at the port of Maccau. We went around the city of Maccau and our first stop was a wall of Portuguese heritage churches.

"Right, this wall is like a doang, can it be a tourism attraction?" I said in my heart.

"What, when college was not discussed?" ask Tyo who I think he was just joking at me.

"No, it's more about Europe."

"Wait, what kind of occupation is this?" I was astonished but still heard.

"meaning?"

"In the course of world design history, it should all be discussed, right? But, why is Europe the only one in the literature?" my many.

"Perhaps because Europe at that time was more advanced and they have records that can be used as evidence of their achievements at that time, while the Asian region, maybe not as advanced as Europe," tyo said giving his opinion.

"I don't think so. China was the first to invent paper, without the findings, no science can be inherited until now. The first Arab to produce bath soap, even the Arabs taught European countries about hygiene. Just look at the movies about life in Europe in the era of Robin Hood, yellow teeth, black, leather legs, moustache, the appearance of the vagabond mushroomed everywhere, until finally the Arab countries came to trade and they brought bath soap. Europeans never smelled the scent of bath soap, so it was immediately the best-selling sweet soap brought by Arab traders," I argued at length.

Not enough with my refutation, I again added my argument, "Not to mention the findings in the world of medicine, surely Mas already know right? Do not underestimate the continent that we live in, because this means that the purpose of colonization is successful, which makes us more siding and think that the European nation is superior. And without the findings and raw materials from Asia, they would not be as grand as they are today."

Tyo just looked at me and clapped his hands and said, "Amazing! How can you remember all that?"

"The power of Hollywood movies, that's why I can memorized it," I replied casually which made Tyo pat his forehead then shake his head.

"I told you, I'm weird" I continued.

"Mas not kayang if we vacation around Europe, can-can go home from there directly to become a historian."

"Well, if the history of the world, Europe with all its castles and civilization, I was in college A, dong! So, when do you want a private lecture about world history plus the road to Europe, Mas?" my challenges are full of passion.

"Later, sometime," Tyo replied with an astonished expression and pretended to be annoyed.

Then Tyo embraced me and took me on a walk.

"Well, let's take ajah's pictures!" exclaim Tyo then.
