The day of my labor was approaching, I had washed Ara's baby clothes which I still kept neatly in the closet. Preparing for the needs of my baby will make me and my two daughters excited.
Until the great attraction came in early December, I was immediately rushed to the delivery room.
Tyo clasped my hand tightly during labor, as before. I felt a lot of pain, more than the pain of my previous two births, which caused my body to tremble and groan in pain. But I can only pinch Tyo's hand.
"Well, honey can, darling strong, let's get excited!" tyo whispered in my ear.
In my heart I said, "Sok, tempted it feels like a contraction! The spirit?! I want a race!"
My mother once told me, if one of her patients used to, beat her husband during labor. Not just beaten, but scratched and pulled his shirt. Right now, that's how I feel and want to do to Tyo, but luckily that's not the case.
Until finally I was no longer strong, suddenly I was like a computer in the process of shutdown. I didn't move and didn't respond to anything. But I am still conscious and can clearly understand the situation.
At once, Tyo panicked. He patted me on the cheek, because he thought I was unconscious and was trying to wake me up.
"Which, Honey! Yang, up!" exclaimed Tyo while continuing to pat my cheeks and hands. Then Tyo checked my pulse and checked for other vital signs.
But I still did not respond, this made dr. Nesya decided to take a cesar action.
"I can't, Yo. Prepare the OK (operating room) now!" exclaim dr. Nesya.
Nurses and midwives who are in the delivery room immediately coordinate with the OK. Shortly after, dr. Nesya shouted something.
"Eh wait! Lin, his head is already visible! Come on, you push the strong! Come on, you can Lin!"
In a moment, I immediately regained my strength and began to push as hard as I could.
"Come Lin! Once again!"
I also pushed back with all my might.
"Come on Lin, go on, go on!"
Then came the sound of a baby crying that made me relieved.
"Well, it looks just like him!" exclaim dr. Nesya while putting my baby on my chest.
"Yes, like Ara," said Tyo with a face full of relief.
I know, at that moment, Tyo was eager to caress my head, but I knew he also did not dare to react to me later.
"Well, go check on the baby first, yeah" Tyo whispered as he kissed me on the forehead.
I answered him with only eye signs because of the tiredness I felt.
My energy was completely drained away at this delivery. The pain that I thought would be much less because this was the third time I gave birth, was wrong. The pain this time, far exceeded the pain when I gave birth to Icha and Ara.
"Women again, Doc?" tanyaku.
"Yes, congratulations" replied dr. Nesya.
"Thank you, Doc. Alhamdulillah, the saving mode continues," I said, which was then followed by Tyo, "Steel clothes, huh?"
The atmosphere in the delivery room became warmer with jokes and laughter from all of us.
Moments later, I had been placed in the presidential suite's treatment room, as all the VIP rooms had been filled up.
At this third birth, although I felt pain far beyond the previous labor, but I got comfort afterwards making the pain disappear without a trace. Moreover, Icha and Ara were overjoyed to welcome the birth of their new sister, whom I gave the name Zalfa Haisya.
Icha and Ara did not take their eyes off their new sister who was in the baby box, I saw Ara occasionally stroking Zalfa's cheeks. They even asked not to return to the seventh floor, because they wanted to stay with their new sister. Although the reason is a little doubtful, because I believe the real reason is to be able to sleep in a spacious room.
The next morning, in turn, I received a visit from Tyo's colleague and the hospital management. This is very different from the previous childbirth, where at that time, I was not known because Tyo was a new doctor.
Unfortunately, Tyo still had to finish his thesis which required him to fly to Jakarta, five weeks after my delivery and that was when I felt something was wrong with my vision.
To that end, I immediately contacted Tyo to tell him about my condition, "Mas, when are you coming home?"
"This is Allah tomorrow afternoon, after giving the thesis to the lecturer. Why?"
"My eyes can't see clearly? Hmm it's kind of shaded, how is it?"
"Shadow, that double?" ask Tyo with a worried tone.
"Yes, everything is double" I replied.
Tyo was silent for a moment, before he began to ask again.
"Dizziness or headache, right?"
"No really. No dizziness or headaches, just twins" I replied.
"Which, if the symptoms increase to dizziness, headache, ringing in the ears or whatever it is, dear to go directly to the ER, yes. Later Mas told Ratna to let Honey be dealt with immediately."
"Mas, why me?"
"Okay, really, let's go home, don't bring souvenirs, which is important quickly get here again."
"Yes, Honey. In ShaaAllah, tickets already exist. Remember the message, yes! If there's anything, go straight to the ER, call Bang Farhan too."
"Yes." Yeah."
I ended my conversation with Tyo. My heart calmed a little after talking to Tyo, although it had not found an answer to my condition.
The next day, as Tyo had said, he would meet me as soon as he reached Batam.
"Where is it now, what is it feeling?" ask Tyo.
"Mas is a twin" I replied.
Tyo hugged me tightly.
"Well, can you still laugh?" tyo whispered in my ear.
"Yowes, I'm crying hysterically, how?"
Then Tyo let go of his embrace and held both of my arms while slightly bowing his body.
"Mas, check it out for a second. Honey sit down first," said Tyo.
I obeyed his orders, meanwhile, Tyo took a flashlight and a stethoscope to check my condition.
"Follow the direction of the beam, yes," Tyo pinta after examining my body.
I also nodded.
Tyo pointed the flashlight up and down and then to the right and left, both my eyeballs followed the direction of the light.
After a while, just with a smile Tyo ended my examination.
"Yes, consult with dr. Harry was, yes" said Tyo.
I didn't listen to what he asked dr. Harry, but after that he asked me to change into a face that showed anxiety.
"We're going to radiology, honey, we should get a brain CT scan right away" Tyo said.
My worries came back. While preparing for the CT-scan examination, I can only leave myself to the Divine.
I heard Tyo called Yusna's mother to leave Zalfa who was still sleeping soundly.
"Mbak Yusna will come here, make Zalfa njagain," said Tyo.
Before long, the door of my room was knocked from the outside and Tyo quickly opened it.
"Lina why, Yo?" ask mbak Yusna.
"No idea, Ma'am. That's why I want to check now" Tyo replied.
"Hopefully not all right, yes," said mbak Yusna.
After that, Tyo and I hurried to the radiology room on the ground floor. I can feel the anxiety that Tyo is feeling. I tried to calm him down by holding his hand.
Arriving at the radiology room, the radiology operators immediately scanned my brain. The sound of the CT scan engine made my head throb, I closed my eyes to reduce the discomfort I felt during the scanning process.
A few minutes later, after holding the CT scan, we both headed for the neural polyclinic, which had been quiet from the patient's queue, as time had shown past noon.
"This is Doc, the CT scan" Tyo said, handing over a large white envelope.
Dr. Harry read it carefully, before he revealed his diagnosis.
"It looks like there's a blockage in his VP-shunt line. We propose to neurosurgery, if in my opinion, this must be taken immediately surgery," said dr. Harrys.
"I tried to call dr. Adi first," said dr. Harrys.
Shortly after, dr. Adi came to dr. Harrys.
"Where? Who should chito?" ask dr. Adi's.
Tyo immediately told me the chronology of my illness, from the beginning of the first operation, which was nine years ago.
"Hmm, how can you stop, even though nine years is safe, right?" ask dr. Adi's.
"Well that is, Doc. These nine years, I have never heard his complaints around his head" Tyo replied.
"Yowes, I prepared the OK first. We start at four this afternoon," said dr. Adi's.
"Oiya, Lina went straight into the treatment room. Yo, you book the room immediately. We'll see you in OK, three hours from now," continued dr. Adi's.
