Xue Zhan came back with an arrogant feeling. How not, he was instantly expelled by the Phoenix heartlessly. Xue Zhan should have felt lucky not to have been killed alive but given the severity of the demon his frustration grew even more so.
But the place he had met earlier was a truly beautiful place. The air inside was extremely cold entering into his lungs like it was mixed with the smell of a healing medicinal plant. Back inside the gap of the wall earlier, Xue Zhan immediately sideways and reached the outside. The distant scenery was the opposite of where the Phoenix Bird had been, The ravine was full of blood and ferocious beasts. Xue Zhan stared upwards, the sunlight was more faint than before and the afternoon wind was felt. It would soon be night but Xue Zhan had yet to find any food.
It's critical. Xue Zhan stopped by the river to see if there were fish in the water and the result was nil. He clicked his small tongue, starting to fidget at the thought of a way to survive.
For a moment his attention was distracted by the sound of a small screech from a frog that had a slightly unique shape. The prominent spots on his skin were green and lit up brightly as the sun began to set leaving it dark. The small frog's stealth legs were pinned down by the avalanche ruins making it unable to move anywhere.
Xue Zhan looked around and found no danger, deciding to save the poor little frog, after all he was unable to attack Xue Zhan in such a state. After a fairly large stone lifted the frog then fled to save themselves. Xue Zhan put the stone back down, taking a deep breath.
Just when it was thought to eat the frog, Xue Zhan turned around and almost jumped up. The little frog waited under his feet and watched him, not intending to leave.
Xue Zhan stepped aside and walked away from there muttering, the frog tailed him. Xue Zhan retreated he retreated, Xue Zhan ran away he came running. And so on until Xue Zhan was exhausted, the frog actually followed him like a landlady.
"Oi!" Xue Zhan pointed at the frog annoyed. "Stop following me if you don't want to be a grilled frog!"
The head of the frog was tilted left right as if he was understanding what the young man was conveying with so much spirit, then there was a typical sound of frogs afterwards. Despite already warning the frog it continued to follow him and even started jumping onto Xue Zhan's shoulder.
"Aaaaa kataakk! Master!!!"
Xue Zhan shouted furiously, holding his shoulders amusedly while making an uncharacteristic scream. He hated insects and included frogs in them. If just looking at it from a distance maybe Xue Zhan could still behave normally but until it perched near his neck, the child could faint while standing up.
"Keep away from me!" exclaiming Xue Zhan after successfully making the frog fall, he was silent for a moment when he saw the frog slammed into the rock. Xue Zhan felt guilty and immediately approached while holding back an amused feeling.
"Sorry, I didn't accidentally ..."
"Eh, uh, where are you going? Hey!"
Now it's upside down. Xue Zhan was following the frog. He didn't know why but it seemed like the frog was trying to show him something. The little animal stopped many times to look at him in the back, until quite a distance walking on the banks of the Xue Zhan tributary began to find a place that looked interesting.
The frog stopped at a pile of human bones whose age may have reached 30-40 years.
Who would have thought that other than Xiang Yi Bai, others had also been trapped in this place even though in the end they could not survive like Xiang Yi Bai. Out of those dozens of bones were plenty of food supplies and equipment, it looked like they were already preparing to survive in such a gloomy place as the Pit of Regret.
Xue Zhan's question, was indeed what they were looking for in a place that only offered death like this. It caused a riddle in his head. Xue Zhan crouched down in front of the pile of corpses and the little frog jumped on his shoulder back. Xue Zhan trembled for a moment, holding back his fear and letting the frog with him to be safer from the wild beast's target.
During that time his hands began to sort out items that had been partially eaten by termites or destroyed by changes in rainy and hot weather. Only their iron, accessories and skulls survived. Xue Zhan stepped further into the campground and found the remnants of life. The former campfire that had been destroyed left only charcoal, spear fence that protects them from wild animals and there is a tarp forming a tent on the rocks are rather high.
Xue Zhan did not expect that he would get food there. But he was quite curious about this group of humans. They were stuck in the Pit of Regret definitely not an accident. Sure enough, when he entered the tent he found a large gap that led him into a cave that was quite dry and had been prepared for the residence of 10 more people.
Seen from the pillars, bookshelves, stone furnaces and much more. Even dozens of sacks of wheat are still there and some have been torn to pieces by rodents. Make the wheat fall scattered on the rocky floor. Xue Zhan began to be wary, the air inside the cave felt strange. He doesn't feel alone there
His clattering feet slowly headed towards the next room, a place where the light of the full moon could break through to the Gorge of Regret. The light highlighted a tall stone stage where a coffin was on top of it. In the chest were many spell papers and bloody seals. Xue Zhan did not feel any air from the chest and felt he was still safe if he just checked it out.
Xue Zhan went up on stage to find the body of a young man lying in a coffin and still intact. His skin was still as clean as before he breathed his last. It's just a lot of ash and spider webs around the wooden box of the crate. There was no sign of moving, Xue Zhan was intending to check the body temperature of the corpse to ascertain when he died.
When his hand was about to touch the cold cheek of the corpse, suddenly a pale dry brackets hand caught it. The corpse woke up in a sitting position, a pair of pale eyeballs staring at him sharply. He opened his mouth, stomping Xue Zhan's body against the wall only through his loud echoing voice.
It seemed that Xue Zhan had been wrongly looking for trouble. He just read a letter on the wall.
"Failed human beings, don't open them." Xue Zhan spelled out while gulping down heavily, only to realize he had just unsealed the coffin seal of the corpse.
Now in front of him the old man who had died came back to life. The reason why the man is said to have failed is because he is completely uncontrollable, precisely attacking the savage and still has his original strength during his life in the world.
Inevitably Xue Zhan had to fight. He realized in this room there were many power-enhancing pills and medicines that should last a long time so that they could still be consumed. He had to take those resources but first all he had to do was fight with this undead.
