The Legend of the Devil

The Legend of the Devil
Ch. 214 - Main Parts

The fiery valley emitted a sharp smoke, thousands of people looked up at the sky where a swordsman floated with both hands containing such a fierce power. Some of the greatest warriors in the Empire were beginning to be daunted by the immense pressure surrounding that one great city.

There was a mess that started two hours ago.

After Emperor Guang was kidnapped, there was a murder that killed hundreds of soldiers and bodyguards.

The emperor, as the supreme leader of the Guang Empire, played a very important role in maintaining the stability and unity of the empire. He is the epitome of power, law, and justice for the whole society. His presence gives a sense of security and confidence to the people that there are figures who guard their interests.

An emperor had a great responsibility to lead and govern the empire wisely. He is a source of inspiration and a role model for his people. His power stretched from law, economics, to military affairs. The presence of a just and wise emperor was able to create harmony and prosperity within the empire.

The loss of an emperor, especially as a result of kidnapping and terror as the First Light of the Red Taring did, created fear and anxiety among the people. Without the presence of a powerful leader, the empire was in danger. People are worried about the destruction and instability that could threaten their lives.

In addition, the loss of an emperor also had an impact on doubt and confusion in the system of government. Effective and quick decision-making processes are hampered. A power vacuum can trigger internal strife and power struggles among ambitious groups.

The fear that people would lose their leaders was due to the importance of stability and order within an empire. They realized that the existence of a strong and just emperor was a guarantee of security and well-being for the entire empire. The loss of an emperor presents anxiety for the future and the difficult times to come.

The people of the Guang Empire were hoping that Emperor Guang would soon be freed from the clutches of the First Light of the Red Taring. But it seems difficult to grant that wish.

Then the Ghost Jade Tower's men descended, raiding the center of the Empire and inflicting hundreds of casualties.

Guang Imperial City was in total chaos when the group of Ghost Jade Tower attacked ferociously. The loyal soldiers of the Empire tried their hardest to protect the population and maintain security, but the pressure from the enemy attack was felt to be so great.

In the corners of the city, there were sounds of swords and war cries breaking the silence of the night.

The city lighting that was once brightly glowing, is now cracked and extinguished due to a great fight. Residential homes were destroyed by the rampaging attacks, and the streets were filled with floating debris and dust.

The Imperial Warriors struggled with difficulty, fighting against the members of the unforgiving Ghost Jade Tower. Their swords flashed in the darkness of the night. Blood was spilling over the streets, adding to the chaos of the night's atmosphere

Civilians caught in the fighting are trying to find shelter, saving themselves from the terror that struck. Some of them hid inside houses that were still standing, while others ran for shelter in caves and underground tunnels.

The pale moonlight was blocked by smoke and dust that floated with a gloomy atmosphere. The rumbling sounds of explosions and screams heard from the distance created a gripping atmosphere.

At every corner of the battle, Imperial warriors and members of the Ghost Jade Tower faced each other in full force.

In the middle of that the people of the Guang Empire depended on the Imperial soldiers who stood at the forefront of the battle. They risked their lives to fight off the attacks and protect the city as well as the citizens.

They prayed that the bloodshed would end soon and peace would return with the Guang Empire.

Currently the Emperor was being held - precisely above Heaven with the man in the White Cross Mask.

His hand rose again, signaling another huge attack would shake the Empire. Sure enough, dozens of rocks plucked from the ground rose to the top of the surface and floated weightlessly, everyone shouted.

"Retreat!!!"

Once the stone fell to the earth, countless casualties were levitated. One Guang Empire warrior trembled violently and was barely able to breathe seeing the incredible chaos around him.

"What the fuck is that guy?! He could destroy a single city with just one hand, without moving or even blinking?!" his screams sounded frustrated.

The presence of the white cross mask swordsman appeared as a real threat to the city of Guang Empire. The power he possessed was capable of destroying everything around him.

With the movement of his hands, he was able to move giant stones, knocking down buildings with ease. The surrounding objects trembled and lifted up, becoming deadly weapons directed towards the city. They glided at high speed, causing a fierce explosion as they hit the ground.

The white cross mask swordsman's attack shook the city of Guang Empire. Buildings crumbled into rubble, streets turned into burning ruins. Dust and smoke enveloped the air, creating a terrifying scene.

A deafening rumbling sound filled the air, alerting the residents to the terrifying strength of the enemies they were facing. Fear and panic swept through, causing people to scatter in search of shelter, trying to escape the city threatened with destruction.

The devastating and devastating power of the white cross mask warriors gave a deep impression to the inhabitants of the Guang Empire. They felt an unimaginable fear, realizing how small and frail they were before such a powerful enemy.

The previously beautiful and bustling city of Guang Empire, was now a battleground turned into rubble and destruction. The citizens of the Empire had to watch in horror how their enemies had easily destroyed everything they had built all along.

The Guang Imperial City was in a precarious state, threatened by a ruthless and merciless enemy. The residents feel how fragile their lives are right now, in the hope that anyone will emerge as a hero who can face and defeat the fearsome power of the white cross mask swordsman.

Some of the heroes of the Guang Empire began to chase after the man, but what made the population even more surprised was the fact that their mainstay swordsman instantly turned into shards of bodies before reaching the place of the man.

Fear spreads like fire. There is no doubt the chaos they will face.

"War is getting closer, shouldn't you be preparing for the second destruction? At times like this there's still time to save this useless man." His voice echoed very clearly above the sky.

The man with the power of space displacement turned his head to the side, where Emperor Guang was floating above the air in a state of complete paralysis. His body was bleeding and unable to move.

Plus, no one could save the man. The man carried it hundreds of meters above ground level.

"War twenty years ago that's gonna happen?" An old warrior opened his eyes wide and remembered all the dark past. Instantly, his hair was goosebumps nonstop.

The war twenty years ago forgot its shadow in history, becoming the worst war of all time. No words could express how terrifying the battle was. Every corner of the four Empires was affected by its deadly impact.

Thousands of blood-stained soldiers faced each other on the battlefield, while deadly weapons ignited death in every gust of wind. Lives floated mercilessly, countless more how many hundred thousand souls were snatched away in this conflict.

The four Empires turned into a field of destruction that filled the hearts of everyone who experienced it. The beautiful cities, which were previously filled with life, were now a wailing rubble. The magnificent buildings collapsed, the once bustling streets were now desolate and destroyed.

This time, Red Taring took over the Demon portion of Mount Qin in the past. It's all about the capture of the heavens.

Over the years that have passed, Red Taring and Demon Mount Qin have become the inevitable triggers of war in an attempt to seize the four most powerful celestial heirlooms, the Earth Ruler Element Stone. A battle involving both powers has shaken the martial world with unimaginable power and destruction.

The well-known colleges that had previously been respected and looked up to, fell under the onslaught of Red Taring and Demon Mountain Qin. The outbreak of this battle tore apart the relationships between the once brotherly colleges, and turned the great warriors into silent witnesses to the ravaging destruction.

The most talented and skilled warriors of the various colleges united in a bloody struggle. However, even their prowess was unable to resist the unstoppable might of the Red Fanged and Demon Mountain Qin. The warriors fell one by one, giving up their lives in order to maintain the integrity of the Earth Ruler Element Stone.

The loss the world felt was enormous. The warriors who became the pillar of justice and peace were quickly cut short by the fierce attack of the enemy. Hundreds of years old colleges collapsed, and the glory they gained along with the tireless struggle is now simply gone.

In this wave of destruction, many of the legendary names that adorn the history of martial arts become part of the memory. The colleges that once shone the path of good and justice are now only in the historical record.

Twenty years have passed since the war that shook the four Empires. In the pause, the atmosphere that had not fully recovered and the losses that occurred left deep wounds for every empire. The martial power that once stood firm is now divided and affected by a terrible war.

Colleges that were once symbols of power and justice are now threatened by instability and the loss of great warriors who have fallen in battle. Without them, those empires become more vulnerable to threats from both outside and within.

Fear crept in the hearts of every imperial citizen. They saw clearly how fragile the peace they had built over the years was. The existence of great warriors who could protect the empire from threats had been drastically reduced. The sense of security they once enjoyed is now replaced by uncertainty and anxiety.

In this unstable situation, the four empires tried their hardest to survive. Divisions and distrust between colleges and empires were still difficult to get them to unite against each other.

The only way is to unite and move together if you want to face the threat that is to come. However, the question is whether they can let go of their egos and differences in order to achieve a common goal.

The process of healing and reconstruction takes countless hours and efforts.

Those white eyes had just glimpsed the memories of the war 20 years ago, his pale eyes were staring back up at the sky, he was starting to get a little myopic but he was able to recognize that enormous power. The power that any warrior has ever feared.

"He-is?" The old man was too shocked to the point of falling to his knees, some of his comrades paled in huge question marks. Waiting for the man to finish his sentence.

"He who?"

"First Light ... Xiao Han's. A man whose strength almost rivaled the heavens."

Xiao Han, known as the First Light, was a figure who possessed strength that almost matched the heavens. Its absolute and large-scale displacement allows it to move heavy objects up into the sky, hitting the ground with devastating force, even being able to destroy a city in an instant.

This power of Xiao Han worked by manipulating the energy and power of nature. With his expertise in controlling energy, he was able to change the surrounding gravitational field, giving him the ability to lift large objects and move them in the desired direction. He can hit the object with tremendous force, creating a powerful explosion that collapses the structure and results in destruction around it.

Xiao Han's reputation in the martial world was terrifying. His incredible strength and the destruction he caused made him an enemy feared by many. Stories of his devastating abilities have spread across the four Empires, carving out a reputation as one of the most powerful and dangerous figures in the martial world.

His presence alone was enough to thrill the swordsmen and make them cautious. His prowess and strength that almost matched the heavens, combined with his dark ambitions, made him one of the Empire's four greatest enemies.

His voice in fear, he immediately got up and ran wherever he could get away from the man he called. The people who used to hold the old warrior looked at each other in confusion. The superior ordered them to stay and wait for orders but the old man's attitude made them start to hesitate and wanted to come away from there.

"Give me the Fire Stone, if you still want to see your Emperor survive." The eyes behind the cross mask were staring intently. "And where you survived the destruction."

**

"Bai Ye ..."

Xiang Yi Bai's breathing stopped for a moment.

That sword was the only relic he had on his disciple's death. The engraving of the name of the Young King of War split. And the strength of his beloved dragon Bai Ye slowly weakened.

Ling Baoyi, the Third Light who had broken her sword drew a faint smile. He turned the weapon over his head and shouted out loud.

"You're sad, Old Monster?!"

Xiang Yi Bai resisted the attack with just half a sword. His two eyebrows were united, never this angry before.

"You'll lose even more for keeping that heirloom."

Blood boils. Ling Baoyi had immense strength, she received a 'gift' of light power from the Red Fangs and it was not difficult to match Xiang Yi Bai's power with that of light.

Xiang Yi Bai never expected Red Fangs to grow so much like this. He had heard that the Red Taring had a celestial heirloom weapon that could provide a great amount of power with some requirements.

The First Light gave that power to the Red Taring members, but if they turned away from the group and left the Red Taring they would get a curse.

For three years after leaving the Red Fangs, they will slowly lose their sense of hearing, smell, sight and so on. Together with the destruction of the meridians that made them have to leave the martial world. Then with that critical state they would eventually die in the third year.

Therefore, it is rarely heard that Red Taring members leave the group, if any, they must have died first because they were unable to withstand the curse.

Xiang Yi Bai took a furious breath.

"I didn't think you'd actually join the Red Fangs."

Ling Baoyi, who was immersed in greed and ambition, laughed out loud. The laughter was buzzing around them, the madness was already unstoppable. He looked at Xiang Yi Bai with a sharp gaze.

"They have opened my eyes to infinite power and wealth. I've discovered an ability greater than I ever dreamed possible, and I won't sacrifice it for anything."

"After killing both your parents and becoming fugitives of the Empire you chose to hide under the protection of the trash."

Ling Baoyi used to be known as an obedient and highly respected swordsman in the martial world. He had a good reputation as a tough fighter and had strong principles. Many people consider him a role model in loyalty, courage, and martial skills.

However, Ling Baoyi's fate changed tragically. In the midst of his journey in search of greater power, ambition and avarice pervaded his heart. He fell into a dark and perverted path, abandoning his once firm principles.

The culmination of Ling Baoyi's drastic change occurred when she went crazy and performed unimaginable acts. In his horrific act of insanity, he murdered his own parents, burying his once honorable kindness and humanity.

After the horrific act is revealed, Ling Baoyi becomes a fugitive, pursued by many who want to uphold justice and stop her horrors. His once-honored reputation was destroyed instantly, replaced by the title of fugitive and the fury of those who knew him.

"Hahahaha, it doesn't matter what you call them. But with them, I got what I wanted!"

He clenched his hand and pulled it back, the glare of light in his hand blinding in a few seconds.

Xiang Yi Bai caught the fist raw, a fierce wind fluttering in the middle of the two. Several enemies retreated, sensing two huge energies colliding with each other.

"There's nothing I can do, you've chosen your path. My job is to stop you."

"Continued me?" He repeated with a mocking face while taking a step back.

"Even though I didn't get the stone from you, the chairman will definitely get it. You can't stop us all." Ling Baoyi emphasized her last sentence while glaring her eyes.

Xiang Yi Bai stood firm. Drop sword.

That attitude made everyone start to be confused, including Ling Baoyi. He furrowed his brows, slightly suspicious of what the old man was going to do.

"You want this stone, don't you?"

He showed the Ground Stone freely.

The Imperial Ground Stone of Diqiu, as one of the Earth Ruler Element Stones, was an heirloom that exuded a mighty power directly connected to the earth element. In appearance, this stone has a deep tanned color and a surface that looks squiggly like a complicated terrain map. Each of its curves reflected the power and potential destruction contained within it.

The strength of this Ground Stone was impressive. When properly removed and used, this stone is able to vibrate the ground drastically. Such tremors can create violent earthquakes, involving shifts in tectonic plates that can result in mass destruction. In fact, in some extreme cases, the power of the Stone Ground could destroy buildings, mountains, and even permanently change the shape of the terrain.

The power of the Ground Stone of Diqiu Empire became the target of many parties. His capture was highlighted in the jubilation, causing tension and conflict among the colleges and power groups. Many wanted to master this stone in order to gain unstoppable power in battle or even to rule over the Diqiu Empire as a whole.

Seizing the Ground Stone involved not only physical strength, but also ingenuity and strategy. Many famous warriors and martial groups engaged in a fierce fight to gain power from the stone. As a result, bloodshed and battles raged in the various corners of Diqiu Empire, leaving collapse and damage.

However, the strength of the Diqiu Empire's Ground Stone also posed a threat to stability and safety. When it falls into the wrong hands, the power contained in it can be used for evil and life-threatening purposes. Therefore, it is important for warriors who aim to maintain the balance and peace of the martial world to protect the Ground Stone from wrong use.

"People like you won't give away the heirloom for free" another man said. Then dozens of others cheered. Ling Baoyi stared intensely in front of her while reading what the Holy Sword Saint Batara was actually going to do.

"Between me winning this fight or you guys, it's the same. I still don't get anything."

Xiang Yi Bai stared at Bai Ye's sword for a moment, turning his face away. "Take it if you dare."

He pulled out a light brown heirloom that was so beautiful. Its size was only one hand grip but such great power was stored within it. Ling Baoyi's eyes sparkled behind the mask.

"That's it! Take the stone from him!"

yells. Hundreds of Black Cross Mask warriors shouted as they raised their swords up in the air.

But before they could touch Xiang Yi Bai, the male clenched his hand tightly clutching the stone. Fragments of light dust shot out from between his fingers.

Thousands froze without a sound.

"You're ..." Ling Baoyi digested what had just happened. Steps ceased. Xiang Yi Bai was still staring at him with a hand that took out a fragment of the Earth Ruler Element Stone belonging to the Diqiu Empire that he had destroyed.

"You destroyed it?!" screams echoed.

"We both get nothing" Xiang Yi Bai replied. He had lost Bai Ye, this was his payback.

Ling Baoyi was bluffing seriously, "It's only for you to save the stone. You still won't lose everything you've got."

Xiang Yi Bai initially did not respond so much to him until Ling Baoyi told him something. "Including your favorite student. Maybe he's dead now? You forgot he was our target?"

Ling Baoyi was suddenly right beside Xiang Yi Bai and whispered in his ear.

"He was a major part of our plan."
