Ch. 119 - Phoenix Dies

"Radabic sky!" maki the Phoenix bird was upset, his voice was weak as all his strength was absorbed as the fierce thunder struck and left the bird paralyzed for several minutes. The misfortune was bad, he became the prey of the rotten demons in this place. The phoenix tried to flap its wings but nothing happened, its body never responding.

The shadow of the huge black claw covered his body, the rolling red eyes of the Phoenix saw five demons besieging at once. The situation was further aggravated by the water demon coming from the river starting to rise to the mainland. The smell of blood from the Phoenix's scar attracted the animals' attention.

He's swarmed like a carcass. The phoenix tried to rebel when the scorpion claw caught the wings making its feathers fall.

Now not just one claw, dozens of demons started fighting over his body like food.

"The Book of Heavenly Phoenix - Lightning Phoenix Claw!"

The glowing lightning shaped form of a green phoenix shot out sharply. The change in Xue Zhan's strength during the training in the Regret Trench made the move even stronger. Other lightning phoenixes were created simultaneously. Now the two lightning birds hit the stealth scorpion until it fell into the rushing stream.

The sound of landing footprints rang out, the Phoenix Bird gasped to realize its wings and legs had slipped from the scorpion claw. But there was still a snake demon wrapped around his neck. He tried to look towards the unknown figure. Not because he saved her, but because of the Phoenix Claw Lightning style that had just appeared.

The shock did not even subside for ten seconds, Phoenix had forgotten he was actually still in danger.

"Wind of Reversing the Clouds!" The sword movement from the bottom up appeared.

It was a new skill that Xiang Yi Bai taught although not so smooth but Xue Zhan managed to create a small scorpion demon that blocked the bouncing path. The snake demon released the phoenix as it felt threatened by Xue Zhan's existence and turned to attack the young man.

"The Dance of the Wind Sword."

A thin circle of wind swirled under his feet, Xue Zhan's breath turning extremely cold. He closed his eyes feeling his strength gathering in the palm and channeling on the blade of the sword. When Xue Zhan opened his eyes the snake stealth crept right in front of him by opening his mouth wide.

Xue Zhan rotated, the tip of the sword flashed in front of the snake's neck which managed to stop in time before the sword cut its neck. Xue Zhan retreated, seeing that the snake was starting to react and after that green blood gushed profusely from his neck that was cut off by the sharp wind that appeared five seconds after the Wind Sword Dance move.

The basic moves of the Celestial Phoenix Book alone were actually quite powerful. Surely if refined as best as possible, for now only the Wind Sword Dance that Xue Zhan mastered was completely.

The death of the snake demon made some of the demons retreat, they themselves were much weaker than the snake and felt frightened when they realized the deep red energy from the young man's body. It feels very evil and intimidating. As Xue Zhan fought, his murderous aura came out, it made another demon escape from there.

They came out of the culverts, the river water and the gap of the ravine wall, re-assembled to make the birds food.

After painstakingly the Phoenix Bird managed to move its wing bones, he could only drag the body a few meters because after that the huge claw back pinned. The poisonous tail of the scorpion rose upwards about to pierce the Phoenix's stomach. Until suddenly the tail was thrown away, Xue Zhan cut it off.

The white sword slashed the demons into pieces. In the state of the body that had recovered from Xue Zhan's poison did not hesitate at all to deal with the demon. But of course he has a limit of strength, if he continues to face the scorpion his strength can be exhausted. Not to mention if the Scorpion King appears.

Suddenly Xue Zhan thrust out a pill.

"You want to get out of here fast? You can take this pill to help your healing process, that's if you believe me."

Xue Zhan was looking for a place to rest for a while while waiting for the rain to subside. The bird did not touch the pill it was given and instead the practice became a pool statue. Xue Zhan was a little annoyed but he was also unwilling to take a dizzy. However, he could not let the Phoenix die.

Because of how quiet Xue Zhan had fallen asleep again, two hours of sleep he was awoken by the noise. Xue Zhan woke up and realized that the pill he had given the Phoenix had disappeared. He smiled faintly before walking to the edge of the stone to see what was happening.

The phoenix was now on the edge of the rock, under the abyss of the scorpion demon began to climb the cliff wall towards where they were.

Xue Zhan turned his head to look at the Scorpion King who was ten times larger than the body of a buffalo. He goosebumps for a moment and immediately packs the goods to leave immediately, the creature is dangerous. Xue Zhan was unwilling to risk his life just for fighting with him. He could have died silly.

But his steps came to a halt for a moment to look at Phoenix.

"What the fuck? Damn it, let me go. You-you!" The Phoenix did not accept being waded like that.

As long as the bird could not do much Xue Zhan was free to drag him anywhere.

"At least once I find a safe place I'll let you go."

"Where are you going? Here is just the wall of the ravine, we can't run anywhere but face this rotten scorpion."

Xue Zhan drew a proud smile for a moment, he let out his precious findings which made the bird demon speechless clueless.

"Look at. You'll be stunned."

"You want to use that for-"

"Just relax, I'm a trained mountain monkey."

The phoenix had expected it, the human used his rotten ability to climb the cliff wall and that made him start to be alert.
