Ch. 203 - The Tsu Wave

The ground suddenly shook with a shocking force. The roar in the sky accompanied the impact of the huge water wave that fell from a height, flooding the entire corners of the vast stretch of forest. The sound of thundering water echoed among the trees swaying by a mighty force.

The woman disappeared in one blink of an eye. Xue Zhan rolled over and took refuge behind the tree, the flood started to form hundreds of water swords that were so clear and sharp.

Small attacks flashed like lightning that swiftly flashed between the torrential pouring of water, creating a dance of speed amidst the torrential and appalling rain. Xue Zhan moved agilely, dodging the water's blow and replying with deadly punches and attacks.

In less than a split second, like a flash of light that flashed at an unimaginable speed, the entire water sword that filled the sky suddenly shot nimbly towards him, it formed a layer that swept ferociously in the air.

Clearly Xue Zhan was besieged, he was sure that serving all of it would be endless. Just like fighting the illusory humans in this space and time. They were trying to make him run out of strength. His run was overtaken by the speed of the Water Sword. Xue Zhan stopped his steps all of a sudden.

The white sword he was wielding shot out at high speed, sharply cutting apart a huge tree before him. Without any time wasted, he added to the movement with a hard kick, directing the large wooden trunk that had escaped from the tree regarding the water sword that was charging at him, smashing it at high speed.

The water swords continued to increase in number above his head, forming an ocean that floated in the air. With an agile movement, they began to direct attacks towards Xue Zhan, creating a series of fiercely lurking attacks.

Xue Zhan saw clearly as the water swords approached at high speed. He quickly anticipated their movements, taking into account every possible attack that could be launched. In a calm state, he moved the sword that instantly split through the air at lightning speed to break the incoming water sword attacks.

However, the water swords continued to multiply, giving birth to even more terrifying shadows in the sky. They attacked in a series of intricate and unfathomable formations, Xue Zhan kept trying to dodge each attack with quick and nimble movements, alternately jumping, hovering, hovering, and circled in the air to trick the water swords.

The sound of metal clashing rang out filling the air, echoing among the silent forest. Sparks of water filled the space around endlessly, Xue Zhan still did not even find where the woman had been hiding.

The fight continued, Xue Zhan kept trying to defend himself amidst the rising waves of water sword attacks. He relied on his sharp reflexes and incredible speed to dodge every slash and stab of the water sword that was eyeing him. They could become dangerous if Xue Zhan was hit by at least a hundred water swords.

However, the longer the battle lasted, the harder it was for Xue Zhan to resist the water sword attacks that continuously rained down on him. He began to feel fatigue creeping within his body, while the continuous pressure from the attack further weighed on his strength. The purpose of the water sword was indeed to make him exhausted before the original enemy came out for the final attack. Xue Zhan had read it from the very beginning.

Xue Zhan was dead-end, in front of him was only a high cliff. The enemy still did not appear while the water around him was constantly creating swords and attacking him from all sides.

From the side direction one sword shot out at a higher speed than the other, Xue Zhan barely caught his movement. A thin circle of wind swirled under his feet and slowly rose upwards fending off some incoming attacks.

As the sword passed before his eyes Xue Zhan saw a huge difference in strength. He immediately looked towards the direction the sword was coming from and chased after it.

The pair of red eyes began to look at him, leaving the illusion controller stunned. He had yet to react when a single circular slash pierced through his water defenses.

In an attack that soared at full force, Xue Zhan's long sword slash broke apart the intangible water protector that had all along concealed the existence of the power owner controlling the water. Like a flash of lightning

grabbing in the darkness of the night, his white sword fiercely split the spatial dimension surrounding the protector, creating glowing cracks.

Xue Zhan immediately pulled his foot against the woman's chest until it retreated tens of meters.

The illusion controller was pushed, his legs dragged back a few meters in a bent state. He raised his face revealing an angry expression not playful. "Where can the eye see? No one has ever seen my water protector except you.." - Grumpily, gripping the sand, no longer thinking of saving its strength.

The waterbending woman felt suspicious of Xue Zhan. He had seen his actions and sensed that there was a mysterious power hidden within the young man's body.

However, Xue Zhan was good at hiding his strength meticulously, making it difficult for anyone to read the extent of his potential and strength.

Xiang Yi Bai taught him how to suppress that power before they exited the Gorge of Regret after considering many things.

In the martial world itself, there were some warriors who had great abilities in hiding their strength just like his teacher. They had honed this skill so well, that it could appear as if they were just an ordinary swordsman without overwhelming strength.

They master the technique of disguise that makes it difficult for enemies to recognize the extent of their abilities by using the energy in their bodies very carefully, keeping it from being radiated excessively.

But the waterbending woman had a keen instinct. He could sense the presence of an unusual energy within Xue Zhan's body and he had to be wary of it.

The woman raised both her hands on the sides of the body, summoning a greater force of water.

Waves again radiated upwards, the flow of water from all directions moving and gathering at one point where he was. The woman's voice sounded slowly, summoning the universe to obey her will. In an instant, the water surrounding them turned into a deadly weapon that was ready to crush everything before him.

Xue Zhan looked up at how much power the woman could exert.

He deserves to be the protector of the headquarters of a criminal group like the Red Taring. That woman is not a fighter. He could control that amount of elemental power without the slightest bit of distress.

Xue Zhan sheathed his sword, the longer time passed the threat on it the more it felt. The woman clenched her fists. The gigantic water above the sky started to gather forming a gigantic fist that was heading towards Xue Zhan.

"Tsu Yang Wave!" that loud shout shocked Xue Zhan. The roar of wind smashed onto his body and the echoing sound from the sky sounded sinister to hear.

The fist drew closer, Xue Zhan knitted his brows.

"Feel my mainstay. Only two people have ever seen him" he said a little snob. "And of those two, none survived."

The slanted smile on his face was obvious, he almost laughed when he saw his enemy not twitching and started to think he was too frightened to move let alone see such a big fist of water.

"Show me that you're a real swordsman, see if your sword can protect others." He laughed cynically, "you're not even able to protect yourself."

He amplified his attack to fivefold while shouting mockingly at Xue Zhan. His attack would fall to the ground in another split second.

But something immediately disturbed his calm.

"Signor of the God of Destruction!"

His eyes are wide open. The Destroying God's Tread pierced through the middle of the fist, it headed towards him at an extremely high speed. Then in an instant, he crashed into the air, blood pouring from his head and mouth just like that. The attack hit him.

The same fate happened to Xue Zhan.

He could not avoid the entire attack. The best way is to counter-attack. The site of the God of Destruction was not half the size of the woman's giant water fist. Some parts of the fist still fell to the ground and hit him.

Xue Zhan spewed blood, he fell into a huge hole that shattered the stream of water hundreds of meters into the depths.

The power of the water waves thrown by the water-controlling woman was so fierce that it made everything around her shatter into pieces mercilessly. Each of his attacks carried an unimaginable force, waves of water flooding the heavens and earth.

The ground around him shook violently, creating cracks that spread out with infinite length. Rumbling sounds echoed in the air as the ground split apart and fragments of rocks flew all around. Meanwhile, violent waves of water continued to pound the surroundings. Water surged and raged crashing at everything before him with an unstoppable force. The trees immediately rolled.

The high and raging water waves produced a sound of flashing like an explosion that broke the silence. Each time an attack was launched, a powerful stream of water flashed with shocking speed, creating flashes that flashed between the rushing outpour of water.

In that chaos, Xue Zhan was trying to hold on with all the power he had.

Not yet apart three seconds from the last attack, Xue Zhan suddenly felt someone suffocating him was extremely powerful.

The woman got up, her entire face was covered in blood and a stream of blood kept flowing down her nose. His eyes bulged so strongly as to want to kill Xue Zhan just by strangling him.

"I shouldn't have thought you were such a stupid kid from the start."

"You're more stupid than I thought!"

The woman used a raw fist that immediately hit Xue Zhan's stomach, again blood came out of her mouth. His opponent no longer underestimated him, it had instead put him in an unfavorable position.

His collar was pulled, Xue Zhan was hanging in the air. His body lost control so suddenly that it could not be moved. Right now all he could do was return the look of the lady in front of him.

The eyes instantly hypnotized him. There was only black color inside her eyelids. Xue Zhan was simply unable to look away under these circumstances. He would be further immersed in the illusory moves his enemies created that could result in him being killed.

Xue Zhan knew why his body could lose control, he had looked into the woman's eyes and was said to have no way out to escape the illusion other than with the help of others. While Xue Zhan came to this place alone.

"Just look at it and feel your heartbeat stop."

A wide grin spread fiercely on the woman's face, the pair of eyes behind the mask started to pale. Xue Zhan's body muscles slowly suffocated, he was unable to fight back at all.

"Feel my revenge, damn it."

Without being able to put up a fight his body bounced, one hand of the woman hit the vital part of her chest. Xue Zhan endured the excruciating pain, but all he could do was lie helplessly on the ground.

The footsteps drew closer to his place, the woman's feet stomped on his head while laughing.

"Your place is between those bones."
