A person walks firmly on the sand dunes, without being distracted by the strong storm currents. The sandstorm hit fiercely, blowing winds that swerved and lifting the grains of sand at high speed.
Staring at his face straight forward expressionlessly, the sword he was carrying rattled every time his foot stepped. In the silence of the storm-struck desert, the steps of the person were clearly heard. Leaving a trail mark on the yellow sand that slowly disappeared as the wind swept over him.
'Something' took him there. He had received an order from his Master, looking for the figure of the White Mask swordsman who had interrupted the course of their plan and finished him off with his own two hands. The young man walked down the thick sand in front of him. Although the distance with the ongoing fight was still quite far away, he was able to feel as if it was in the middle of the fight itself. It was a battle from a distance that was so intense.
The young man saw a sharp glare of lightning from the colliding sword attacks, a light that cut through the dust in the desert. Despite not being able to see directly every movement in front of him, he was able to sense the energy released from every attack and defense.
His steps getting closer, he began to stiffen the sword that was tucked in his waist carefully.
The sound of the wind rustled loudly in his ears as a burst of light power gushed forth and charged towards him, a sharp wind passed through his place, lifting up the grains of sand and exhaling it around him. However, the figure was not sidetracked by the chaos of the sandstorm that struck. He continued to step forward, his eyes and ears focused on the ongoing fight.
The sound of iron metal clanking and the rowdy made by at least ten spiritual demons filled his hearing.
There was a muttering sound from his mouth when he finally arrived at the scene of the fight, "There you are apparently."
There appeared a black silhouette behind the thick sand in the middle of that fight. He was wearing a black robe that was waving. In the silence of the sinister situation, for a moment the three looked at each other.
His face was covered by a mysterious fox mask, but his strength could not be underestimated. He came without a single speck of doubt.
The pair of red eyes began to catch the shadow of a faint silhouette, Xue Zhan quickened his pace. However Ming Dao suddenly attacked back and the fight continued as if it did not care about that person.
There were no words thrown from their mouths, only the sound of a sword colliding and the sound of rapid footsteps. They risked everything in this fight, not giving each other a chance to breathe.
Seeing that Xue Zhan could still survive a one-on-one fight, Ming Dao was unwilling to lose. He relied on his rats to outwit Xue Zhan and look for a crack.
A series of Sand Rat attacks rained down on Xue Zhan. The rats attacked with long tails, circling Xue Zhan's body and trying to strangle him. Yet with quick reflexes, Xue Zhan managed to evade their grip by jumping and spinning.
In an agile movement, Xue Zhan used his sword to split the air, sending out a back-attack that made them retreat a few steps. It was just that he could not fight to the fullest when facing Ming Dao at once. Plus his eyes occasionally turned to a mysterious figure who was paying attention to the fight. Afraid at times that person attacked him and made the situation worse.
Ming Dao swung his hand forcefully, releasing a force of light that suddenly radiated from his palm. The light flew quickly and struck Xue Zhan fiercely, making him bounce far back.
Xue Zhan was shocked by the sudden attack. His body lifted off the ground and was thrown several tens of meters into the air before finally falling violently on the sand. He slammed and rolled a few times before finally stopping panting. The fight between the two looked like a lightning fast and full of tension. Their sword attacks collided with each other, producing sparks that gushed out in the darkness of the desert.
The effect of the power of light emitted by Ming Dao made Xue Zhan bounce with an unfathomable force. His body was lifted by a powerful thrust and flung across the desert, with no control over his movements or position. He fell hard, facing the strong thrust of the wind and the friction of the sand around him. He looks more battered than his opponent.
"I came on orders to finish people off with a white mask." His voice that instantly interrupted the fight between the two people.
Xue Zhan coughed at his chest which was heavily injured from the Ming Dao attack that hit his chest and pierced through his vital organs. He growled, trying to endure the pain and recover the wound.
His eyes fell on a figure with a fox mask in their midst. The young man alternately looked towards Xue Zhan and Ming Dao, read the situation and looked for who his target was between the two people.
That instant Xue Zhan cursed. Not finished facing the Ming Dao who was much stronger than himself now he had to face again with one enemy from the middle of nowhere. He seemed to recognize the young man, they seemed to have fought somewhere and that made him confident while sensing the pure power energy from his body.
"Who are you?" ming Dao asked offended.
"Substantial Laws of the Sky."
Xue Zhan's lips froze for five seconds, he stopped moving with his eyes locked on the young man. Dumb and in disbelief. His breathing stopped that second as well without a word coming out of his mouth.
Then Xue Zhan repeated to make sure, "Substitute of the Laws of the Heavens?"
Xue Zhan was limping along, dragging his numb legs against the gale of the storm that seemed to make him fly. The young man turned his body to face Xue Zhan and raised the sword next to him, looking defiant in full alert. Xue Zhan was sure their distance was already so close that the young man could clearly see his face.
His white mask had been destroyed by Ming Dao, so that at this moment Xue Zhan's face could be clearly seen by the figure.
"You are the enemy that the Chief said, I will kill you," the Sky Law Substitute flatly told Ming Dao.
The man was astonished for a moment.
"Since when did He order you to kill me? Didn't we cooperate with each other, does this mean that he betrayed the Red Taring-!?" His face turned shocked. It was too difficult to read the situation that occurred after knowing the name of the Sky Law Substitute and the fact that she was betrayed.
Meanwhile the stunned Xue Zhan he was being passed by just like that. His eyes opened, he turned his back to look at Jiazhen Yan walking towards Ming Dao and intending to kill the man.
'What really happened?' his inner.
Jiazhen Yan had definitely sent someone to go after him, either luck or what his white mask was destroyed and only Ming Dao was seen to have a white mask despite belonging to the Red Taring. Xue Zhan survived the Sky Law Substitute's goal.
But something made her even more shocked, which was when Jiazhen Yan did not recognize her at all.
Jiazhen Yan walked away from her and prepared to draw a sword to combat Ming Dao. Xue Zhan hurriedly spoke, "There's something I want to ask."
The figure stopped, not looking at all.
"Did you remember someone named Xue Zhan, Xiao Rong and Xian Shen?"
He walked over, getting further and further away from Xue Zhan who was waiting for his answer. Don't think it's gonna be this bad.
As his footsteps stopped before Ming Dao came a short reply from him.
"I only remember the list of names of people I have to kill."
Jiazhen Yan had turned into the same cold-blooded killer as the figure he had seen in the dream. What was feared really happened. Jiazhen Yan forgets himself, kills thousands of innocent people and becomes one of the enemies that creates destruction and war. He took on so many roles that Xue Zhan did not guarantee that Jiazhen Wu would not bang her head to death when she found out what her beloved son was doing.
"You forgot your memory? Hey man, did you forget about me ...? You forgot your saneest friend? Really mean, hahaha. Stop joking, Salty Squid." There was an unacceptable tone from her tone, she tried to confirm it but the reply from Jiazhen Yan instantly pierced her heart.
"What are you talking about, you fucking trash? Who would be friends with you?"
He threw a cynical look at Xue Zhan.
"After this White Mask, I'll finish it off, too."
Ming Dao and the mysterious figure with the fox mask faced each other in the middle of the desolate wasteland. Both of them stood up in a prepared manner, emitting an aura of powerful strength. Ming Dao emitted a power of light emanating from his body, while the mysterious figure was visibly smoldering with blazing flames around him.
Ming Dao stepped forward by swinging his sword at a mesmerizing speed. The light that accompanied his every move added to the strength and sharpness of his attacks. He attacked domineeringly, trying to break through his enemy's defenses.
However, the mysterious figure with the fox mask did not remain silent. With an agile movement, he dodged the Ming Dao sword attack nimbly. His fast and agile movement ability made him difficult to catch by his opponent. Swinging his hand, he let out a pure blazing flame, creating arms of fire that split the air.
Ming Dao deftly dodged the fire attack. He jumped and rolled on the sand, creating a distance between himself and his enemy.
The fight between Ming Dao and the mysterious figure was heating up even more. Ming Dao sought to use the power of light to counter the pure fire power emitted by his enemy. His attack emitted a dazzling light, attempting to pierce through his enemy's defenses made of smoldering flames.
The figure with the fox mask continued to launch a smoldering fire attack. The arms of fire were flaming and surging, trying to destroy the Ming Dao, Ming Dao was barely able to dodge the attack. He slid quickly, spun and jumped agilely, finding the gap between the fire attacks and trying to strike back.
Light and fire collided in the middle of the desert sand, strong winds rattled the air and the ground. There was a voice from Ming Dao that was starting to get a little exhausted.
"You are a deadly sword. It's only right that person erased your memory. You get stronger when you forget your past."
