His body hurts. Xue Zhan held onto one shoulder and walked slightly limped, as his eyes rolled confirming the state of the small frog on his shoulder. The small animal of an ity entered the collar of Xue Zhan's back suit in fear of the evil aura of the undead.
The two face each other. The enemy has a spear weapon with a sharp iron tip, large enough and has a wide attack distance.
The dust that fell from the ceiling of the cave was drenched by the light of the full moon. The man's face was covered in a dark shadow, his eyes were terrifying. Given that he was a human who had died, Xue Zhan could not help but think how this corpse could still stand up and stare at him with emotions like an ordinary human.
On the other hand Xue Zhan inevitably had to go through this fight. He needed food and whatever it was to recover his strength to neutralize the poison in the body, the only thing that could save him was the pill that was inside this place.
The little frog delivered him to the drugs and also a dead demon residing in them.
The enemy began to react, his pale white eyes reddening like a devil fruit. He raised the spear with both hands above his head while shouting, the sound of the sound had power up to the outside of the abyss. Xue Zhan prepared to take out a sword tucked in the waist, half crouching alerted to the opponent's movements.
The gripping seconds passed. Little by little the direction of the enemy's movements began to be seen, with Xue Zhan's limited fighting ability just thinking of ways to keep from dying from this undead.
After the first rampage the man now twirled his weapon over his head, making the pillar almost cut off, several shattered objects scattered then he jumped after Xue Zhan.
Xue Zhan ran away to look for a small room and pulled the opponent to it, with such a long weapon a small room would be his weakness and make the enemy trouble moving the weapon. The enemy followed him while destroying the objects he encountered along the way.
Who would have thought the further into the room in the cave that Xue Zhan felt was getting even stranger. There was one small room filled with hundreds of candles still burning. Though no one lived in it, either the fire was immortal or Xue Zhan thought too much. He lowered his head immediately as the enemy's long weapon slashed parallel to the height of his head from behind.
Wei Li - the old man's name during his life, landed on a table stack of candles. He split the hundreds of candles in half and made them fly over the air creating a flickering red that momentarily illuminated the cave.
The white hair of the man fluttered fiercely following the sharp roar of the wind due to the whirlpool of strength from his body. When Xue Zhan looked back those red eyes were scouting him in a violent manner. He's not like a human being. His crude fighting and merely indulging in murderous lust have explained that the man has lost his spirit and that controlling him now is an evil force.
The candles that fell on the rock began to spread and burn the sacks of wheat, creating a blaze in the cave and will expand over time. Xue Zhan clenched his hands, he couldn't let the resources in the coffin room just burn, it was extremely precious.
Wei Li started a straight attack, he had the science of lightening his incredible body and making it seem as if he was flying even if he was just running. Xue Zhan was unsure of being able to fend off that sharp attack, he twisted his body. In a rotating position with his feet on top and head on down, right in front of his eyes Xue Zhan was able to see the reflection of his own face on the iron blades of the enemy spear.
The movements of the spear changed very quickly, the hilt was eyeing Xue Zhan's body and managed to hit the young man right on the backbone. Xue Zhan was thrown and immediately took a position to land half-squatted with a sword stuck on the rock. He vomited blood, the poison in his body began to recur. Xue Zhan only had a little remaining time before the poison bent his body. If not immediately meditating Xue Zhan would have been paralyzed and died.
Xue Zhan looked at the special plaque on the man's clothes that read a name, Wei Li. He must have been one of the other Empire's descendants judging from his face shape and skin color.
The instant Wei Li stopped spinning, Xue Zhan leaped high before another spear slash came. Sure enough as expected Wei Li unleashed an attack. Xue Zhan's feet were treading on top of the sword blade. Those red eyes looked up towards Xue Zhan looking increasingly blinded by anger.
Xue Zhan had yet to take action to attack knowing that he had missteps just a little was not an injured enemy, but himself. With the state of the body being gnawed at by the poison and injured, he had to fight extra carefully and wait for one chance to attack.
The flames spread out, Xue Zhan leaping over the shelf that was being engulfed in flames. A grain of light flew out as the enemy's spear split the shelf in two. Xue Zhan is gone. Wei Li chased after his shadow using an eye tail and saw the young man running into another room.
The only place left was a spacious room that resembled a palace hall. There were many books, books, weapons and even expensive iron armor. Then a stone platform with a height of about three steps bearing the symbol of Yin Yang in the middle of the spacious room. Xue Zhan rose above him half-nosling.
The enemy landed on the stone platform. The two returned face to face with the sound of ruins from several rooms that were destroyed by the fire. Vibration over the earth felt at the feet. Wei Li looked at Xue Zhan straight and did not blink at all.
A gleam of red flame light reflected in Xue Zhan's eyeballs. Sparks of sparks were falling from the wood engulfed in flames, looking like thousands of fireflies trapped in a gigantic Yin Yang room.
Xue Zhan finally took out a sword. This time he had already memorized the opponent's movement patterns thus reducing the chances of getting seriously injured.
The two camps met in the middle of the Yin Yang stage with swords meeting each other, creating sparks along with the sound of weapon screams. Xue Zhan again saw the reflection of his face on the opponent's gleaming spear weapon. The two weapons held each other, Xue Zhan intended to force Wei Li back by pushing him but unexpectedly the enemy suddenly spun around and unleashed an attack from a different side.
Despite only being hit by the sword hilt, Xue Zhan fell to his knees, Wei Li unleashed a straight-up strike from above that charged at his head. Xue Zhan held back with a sword. Both of his eyebrows were clutched, the hot temperature made sweat pour out profusely.
Just as Wei Li had barely managed to get Xue Zhan to a corner suddenly the young man stopped holding his weapon and let go just like that made Wei Li almost fall off balance. Instead the young man attacked with a leg, he twisted his leg and humming Wei Li made the man forced to retreat.
Xue Zhan was leaking blood from his mouth.
"Even dead still cause trouble. What if it was still alive," Xue Zhan's frown was annoyed. He started to fidget as the sound of the shock got bigger and would probably burn all the resources he wanted to take.
