The Legend of the Devil

The Legend of the Devil
Ch. 141 - The Destruction of the Seal of Heaven

After visiting Wu Guang's tomb, Xiang Yi Bai directly destroyed the Sky Seal. The pounding of the sky along with the cloud hanging low wanted to touch the earth, the icy wind bent the creatures in the place. Then a seal appeared that covered one sky, Xiang Yi Bai stood beneath him while looking up. He told Xue Zhan and Fenghuang to wait in a place a little far away because the process of destroying the Sky Seal was very dangerous.

Despite having seen before Xue Zhan was still goosebumps looking at such a powerful force, he looked at Xiang Yi Bai's back and hoped that the teacher was okay.

The spell light above the sky shone increasingly brighter, slowly they gathered right above Xiang Yi Bai. The man had not done anything yet but the Sky Seal came into action.

Xue Zhan had just wanted to set his foot, until suddenly a hot stone fell through the stone. He was shocked to run back into the cave. Xiang Yi Bai turned his head towards him for a while while reminiscing. "Stay there! It's dangerous!"

Xiang Yi Bai's eyes were diverted towards the huge boulder that was hurtling towards him, the Sky Seal dropping a fiery rock that could shatter the entire place.

A single straight slash from Bai Ye's sword cut through five flaming stones at once, Xiang Yi Bai flew into the air to fend off some. Many rocks are plunged into the frozen river, slowly the ice melts but the fish in it dies in an instant. Fenghuang who was aware of the danger did not allow Xue Zhan to peek at the mouth of the cave.

"That Sky Seal can see, it will hit you. Come in here, if that Old Monster knows you're being careless again, it's me he's blaming." A grunt came out from his mouth, Fenghuang forced Xue Zhan so many times that the young man finally complied. In the dark cave there was only a big bang sound accompanied by the rising river water that poured everywhere. Occasional landslides descended and strange sounds were heard.

Maybe an hour passed, and then finally it all stopped. Fenghuang held him back from coming out, Xue Zhan forced a hard peek until his red eyes grew bigger.

Xiang Yi Bai was strangling a human-like creature whose body was only wrapped in skin, had long fingers to the feet, a dull brown skin color and white eyeballs. The creature was convulsing with its legs hanging in the air. His eyes had caught Xue Zhan's presence until finally the creature died leaving the dust of light that disappeared carried by the wind.

"What the fuck? Why is he so horrible?"

"Well, that's karma for humans who like to pluck bird feathers at will."

"Aish, you're scaring me, Fenghuang."

"After all, you have not been karmically similar to him yet" replied Fenghuang, Xue Zhan who had been annoyed without a second thought immediately pulled out a small feather on Fenghuang's wing.

"Again!!" Fenghuang rampaged, Xue Zhan fled from there.

"Aaaa Guru there is a fiercer than the Sky Seal! Save me!!"

Xiang Yi Bai concentrated too much to the point of taking it seriously, he moved quickly towards Xue Zhan while brandishing a sword towards Fenghuang who was chasing after the brat.

"The boy pulled my fur again!"

Xiang Yi Bai clapped Xue Zhan's head to the point of falling back.

"Ouch! Why are you getting hit!"

"Just fight your work. I thought you were being eaten by a monster."

The man put the sword back into the white sheath, his breathing a little irregular due to the fight consuming quite a lot of his strength. Xue Zhan rubbed his aching head while standing up, he looked over realizing that part of the giant spell was slowly fading away. The Sky Seal began to disappear above the sky.

Decades of confinement in the Precipice of Regret, Xiang Yi Bai did not let his strength weaken in the least. Because he knew his duty to keep the Ground Stone was still long and still had to improve his martial arts skills. You could say that he is now much stronger than himself when he became the Chief of the First World.

Xiang Yi Bai looked at Fenghuang as he said, "I've already paid it off."

The Phoenix was too sunk as it stared into the sky and it felt like it wanted to immediately fly high through the clouds, Xue Zhan again saw that spirit in Fenghuang. He said, "Fly. When else can I see the sky closer."

Fenghuang spread her wide wings looking impatient, she was silent for a while until Xiang Yi Bai and Xue Zhan were confused and exchanged glances.

"Wait anymore?"

"Hey, I asked you guys. Wait especially? I offered you a ride. You guys want to go up the cliff wall?"

Fenghuang's body was indeed larger than the size of an adult human, its wings were even wider than his own, so it should have housed two people at once would not burden him.

"Tumben kind hearted."

"I'll ride on my own. You take the brat away, "command Xiang Yi Bai.

"Teacher"

"Cry under your teacher's armpit. I'm going to avenge my feathers you pulled." Fenghuang's voice was very small but Xue Zhan could hear, too late already the phoenix was going to take him flying.

Xiang Yi Bai stood watching Fenghuang using his highest speed, a red light from the bottom of the gorge penetrating up into the clouds. In just a split second Fenghuang made it to the sky. For the first time in a very long time Fenghuang could again feel freedom. His wings he stretched and flew straight following the wind currents.

"It's really the world I want."

He spoke but the man he was carrying did not answer at all.

Perhaps Xue Zhan's heart had already moved to his feet, he couldn't feel any more blood flowing in his body from being so panicked. A strong wind slapped his face and almost made himself fall.

"Hey lowly boy, are you still alive?"

"About yourself." Xue Zhan oleng's. Fenghuang started nosy, it was time for revenge.

Suddenly Fenghuang sped up quickly making Xue Zhan fall behind. He fell down just like that while Fenghuang flew away without sinning.

"Fenghuang, you really are!" panicking him while peering down, his body fell freely in the air. Under there the pointy rocks are ready to tear his body. The young man cursed Fenghuang nonstop, he fell uncontrollably until he realized that under there the land was getting closer.
