CHAPTER 114: The Crown Prince's Ceremony

It has been almost a week since Jon arrived in Alabasta and trained the Prince & Royal Guards. He never thought that these people were so weak, they could not even handle a quarter of his training. The dragon has explained that some people can awaken Haki by accident in a situation. So Jon explains the concept to Vivi and hopes she can understand it and wake her up on her own.

"Vivi, how's the diet I gave you?" - Jon

"You didn't reduce the number, did you?" - Jon

Sinbad was shocked & depressed, while the guards laughed amongst themselves.

Now the guards also became depressed and looked desperate. The king could only sweat seeing this, while the Queen and Vivi giggled to themselves. They know Jon likes to mess with guards and princes, so they just observe him.

"We're fine, other than that matter, tomorrow we'll announce Sinbad as Crown Prince, so everyone should get ready. Jon, I hope you can help keep the procession." - King

"It's me, I just changed my appearance." - Jon

"Oh, you can't do that, others don't know you can change. Just use this cloth mask to cover your face, at least they won't mistake you for someone else and think you're an intruder." - Vivi lectured Jon

"Is that so?" - Jon

"Yes." - Vivi

Jon changed his clothes again, then used the blue cloth mask that Vivi brought for him. It is similar to Kakashi's mask and covers half of his face and neck. Then a guard gave him a sword, so that he would look like the real Prince Guards.

"Hmm, you look handsome." - Vivi smiled

"But my face is covered." - Jon

"It's nice that you like it." - Jon smiled and patted Vivi on the head.

Then they went to the Prince's room and checked it out. Jon will be the Prince's guard, so he must be with the Prince. They arrived there and saw the Prince had changed his ceremonial clothes. He looked golden but he was very nervous and trembling. Well, he was just an ordinary kid last year, and suddenly he knew his father was the King and he was going to be the Crown Prince, so it was natural to be nervous.

Vivi tried to calm him down, but he remained nervous. Jon sighed and approached him, then Jon drained a bit of lightning chakra to sting him. Sinbad flinched and shouted like a girl, then looked at Jon.

Sinbad relaxed and then gave a speech. He stuttered at first, but the crowd did not laugh at him. Then he got better and finally ended his speech very well. The crowd again cheered and all of them smiled, finally the ceremony finished without any accident.

The Kingdom of Alabasta finally has the Crown Prince now. Jon was also happy for a different reason than this. Her engagement to Vivi is about to happen, officially.
