CHAPTER 90: The Great War/Part 1

"DON'T COME HERE, LUFFYY!" - Ace

Jon hears Ace screaming, but he doesn't care, Luffy being called, not him. Luffy heard Ace clearly, but he kept fighting. Ace then tells him that he doesn't need Luffy's help. He has a friend of his own who will save him, so he doesn't need Luffy's help. Jon knew Ace only wanted Luffy to leave because this war was over their league for now. But Ace underestimated Luffy's wishes.

"I'M YOUR BROTHER!" - Luffy

The marines talk amongst themselves about Luffy as the son of Gol D. Roger too.

"I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR PIRATE RULES. I WILL SAVE YOU EVEN IF I HAVE TO DIE!" - Luffy

Luffy's speech boosted the morale of Whitebeard's pirates. They had the same determination, and heard Luffy made their determination higher. Jon & Luffy continued to advance, and Jon used ninjutsu sparingly. He did not know how long this war would last, so he had to keep his chakra and spend it efficiently.

Suddenly, two gigantic vice admirals blocked their path. The giants attack Jon & Luffy with their weapons, axes and metal sticks. Luffy used the 3rd gear and made his right hand big to attack the giant with a hitter. Jon makes 2 clones and they make a super big ball race to attack the giant with an axe.

"Damn, I still need a clone to make the Super Big Ball Rasengan this fast. My path is long." - Jon

Luffy attacked his opponent and defeated him with a single strike. Jon also smashed his Great Super Ball Race with the giant axe. The Rasengan Super Big Ball really lives up to its name. His axe is destroyed and Jon continues to attack the giant. The giant was thrown backwards and fell, along with the one Luffy defeated.

Then, the two continued moving forward, and suddenly, Sengoku made a big reveal. He reveals that Luffy and Ace are sworn brothers. Also that Luffy is actually the Dragon's biological child. This has had a big impact and surprised many people.

Dragons are considered the worst villains and the most wanted people now. So the news of him having a son, and his son also one of the best rookie pirates would really be big news besides this war. There was too much shocking news today, and it was broadcast to the nearby islands. So, a lot of people will know about this.

Jon grinned and made Moria even more furious. He orders his Zombie to attack, and Jon wants to fight back. But then a lot of water flowed into the zombies, and their shadows left their bodies. Jinbe suddenly came out of the water and asked Jon & Luffy to leave first.

Jon & Luffy go first and continue to plow their way forward. While they were moving forward, Whitebeard's pirates suddenly spread to the side of the battlefield and attacked the Marine warships. Jon sees this, and though he doesn't know what's going on, Whitebeard must have a plan, or he finds a Marine plan.

As Jon & Luffy moves forward, Smoker suddenly comes and attacks Luffy. He ignored Jon

entirely because he had a grudge

with Luffy. Jon knew Luffy couldn't

touched Smoker's body, so he

intercepting the Smoker jutte attack. The jutte

has seastone in it, so

Luffy will weaken. Jon is using

Kusanagi to intercept the attack.

"My captain doesn't have time to fight a cigarette addict like you here. Luffy, go first! I'll keep him here." - Jon

"All right." - Luffy

"Devil eyes, what did you do to Hina?" - Smoker

"Eh? I electrocuted him, why?" - Jon

"Damn it!" - Smoker

".... !! Ah, is she your boyfriend? Don't

worry, he's alive." - Jon

"He didn't, tch. After all, your performance at Enies Lobby is impressive. You're smart enough to have a strategy that can destroy a Buster Call, but in a war like this, power matters more." Smokers

Jon keeps the seastone and Kusanagi staff

in inventory. Then he pulled out the two blades of his chakra and held them upside down. He used lightning chakra mode and flowed lightning chakra into his sword.

"Here I come!" - Jon grinned.

Jon flashed to Smoker who reflexively defended with his jutte. But Jon has an unconventional fight. Jon twists his body, swings his right leg, and kicks Smoker's body. His feet were covered with lightning chakras, so he could touch Smoker's smoky body.

"Lariat!" - Jon

Jon uses Raikage and Killer Bee's favorite attacks. He trained it because it was easy, and he could use it with lightning mode. He wanted to train the 3rd Nuken Raikage, but his finger was not strong enough to make an impact.

Jon pulls Smoker with his noose and slams Smoker to the ground. The smoker gets the damage, and spits blood, but Jon just leaves it. Jon did not want to be silent in the fight against one enemy. But he still wanted to do damage to Smoker, so he said something.

"Don't be overconfident and think no one can touch you, Smoky!" - Jon

Jon goes to see Luffy with the Sichibukai, Boa Hancock. It seemed like they weren't fighting, but he couldn't be so sure. So she ran there and was shocked to see Luffy suddenly hugging her. Jon was speechless, but he kept running there. Then, Luffy left her and she suddenly fell to her knees.

Jon can't process what happened, but he forgets about it and follows Luffy. He arrived beside Luffy and asked about it. Luffy just said that she is a good girl, and she helped him. Luffy even showed the Ace handcuff key that Hancock gave him.

'He gave her the key? Where'd he get it? No, why would he give it to Luffy? Aahh, whatever, fewer enemies is better.' - Jon

Jon thinks of Hancock's reason for helping Luffy, but he can't think of her. He would never have thought that he was truly in love with his Captain. Jon stopped thinking about it and continued to move forward. But then, they arrived at where Iva and Kuma were fighting.

"A-are we moving in a circle?" - Jon

Jon looked around and was relieved they were not moving in a circle. It seems like Iva & Kuma moved quite a distance in their fight, and arrived here. Iva kept talking to Kuma why he attacked, after all they were friends.

Suddenly, another sichibukai, Doflamingo appears and tells Iva that Kuma is not what he used to be. He has become a robot that only moves using programs, the real Kuma is 'dead'. Of course Iva wouldn't believe this, and Jon wanted to tell him what he knew, but this wasn't the time.

Suddenly Kuma appears among the okamas and attacks them with air pressure and a beam attack. Iva was angry that Kuma was attacking his followers, so he decided to attack Kuma as well. Iva used a technique that rolled herself up and made her face appear in many places namely Face Spectrum. It seemed like he made a lot of clones but only for his face. Then he used the Galaxy Wink, and it doubled because he has a lot of faces now.

"Luffy, let's go! Iva can take care of herself." - Jon

"OK." - Luffy

Jon & Luffy went forward again and fought several marines. But other troublesome opponents blocked their path. The strongest swordsman, Hawk-Eye Mihawk, stood in front of them.

"Currently, really high-level war." - Jon

Jon takes out his Kusanagi, activates the Yin Seal at 100%, and puts more chakra into his lightning mode. He even activated his new mangekyou, as he had to use all of his strength now. The person in front of him was the man who stood on top of every swordsman in the world, and he had no idea how powerful Mihawk was.

Luffy also seemed to understand how powerful Mihawk was, so he used his 2nd gear. Then, Mihawk attacked them with a downward slash from his sword. It created a powerful flying attack, and Jon did not dare to accept it even with his Kusanagi.

According to Jon, it is unwise against Mihawk here, and Luffy understands it too. They pass Mihawk and try to escape. But this man would not let them off the hook, he chased after them and attacked again.

Jon & Luffy jumped straight away from the slash. Now they had no choice but to fight. Jon took out a few senbons that were affixed to paper bombs and threw them at Mihawk. Mihawk tried to fend it off, but Jon ignited the paper bomb.

* BOOM BOOM BOOM *

The paper bomb exploded and caused a huge explosion. Jon looked into the smoke with his crisp and clicked his tongue. He saw Mihawk was fine without a scratch.

"Luffy, back off a little!" - Jon

After Luffy retreated, Jon made a hand seal and placed his hand on the ground.

"Chidori's stream." - Jon

Streams of lightning spread in the area, and Jon made sure to avoid the pirates. Although some of the unfortunate ones were attacked, but only a few. His main target was Mihawk, so he moved it towards Mihawk.

He sees lightning reaching Mihawk, but then he is shocked. Mihawk sent another strike and stopped his lightning. Mihawk's attack keeps coming at him, so jump up and pull Luffy. But then, another attack came as they

not ready to avoid.

Jon immediately took out his kusanagi and drained it with chakra, much more than usual. He had to accept it, because behind him, Luffy wasn't ready to dodge, and there was okama as well. If he dodges, they'll be attacked, and Jon can't let that happen, they're allies.

As the attack almost reaches him, Jon immediately uses his right eye to stop time. He did not have much time, so he immediately retaliated against the flying attack with his sword. Jon cuts 5 times with everything he gets from the bottom left to the top right. He knew he could not destroy it, so he diverted it. Then he also stored the space on the right and picked it up on the left side of the attack.

That was all he could do in 2 seconds, he had to be faster if he wanted to maximize his 2 seconds. As time was stopped when Jon retaliated against the attack, the power behind him also increased a lot. The strike was directed to the right, though not much, but it would not hit any of Jon's allies.

Jon felt relieved, but then his right eye ached and blood flowed from him. Jon closed his right eye with his hand and drained his chakra into it. Stopping time seems to be much harder than saving space.
