CHAPTER 78: Sabaody Archipelago

The crew sails to Sabaody, and Jon decides to talk to them about something. He's gathering everyone on deck.

"Alright, listen to me, I'll tell you something important. Sabaody is not a good place and I will tell you why. This place is often visited by Tenryubito, World Noble. Since the World Nobles were there, there was a crazy thing allowed there. Human trafficking, well, not just humans, every species is legal to sell there as slaves." - Jon

The crew was surprised to hear this, they did not expect that slavery was legal in this place.

Jon then proceeded to tell them about the World Nobles, and asked them to be careful if they met. Hachi also tells them that Tenryubito can call the admiral if they want. Of course the crew was shocked, including Jon. la did not get this information, although it is understandable that Tenryubito could ask the admiral for help at will.

The crew thought about this a lot, this was the first time they had come to know something like this. They knew they had to be careful in Sabaody, or they would harm Caimie and Hachi.

They all thought about this and Jon's words made sense. For the crew, the fishermen didn't think it was a good idea. But they also knew that they would not let their friend be captured and sold as a slave.

Moments later, they arrived at Sabaody. This place is not made of land because it is not an island. Shabaody is made of 79 Mangrove Yarukiman which grows very high and large to become like the archipelago. They docked at Grove 41 and saw many bubbles flying everywhere.

The bubble is made of Magrove sap and air coming out of it. Jon tried to touch the ground and it was completely full of sap. Then they all move separately. Luffy, Brook, Nami, Chopper, and Robin will be leaving with Hachi, Caimie, and Pappag. Franky, Sanji, & Usopp will remain on board. Zoro moved on his own, making them worry if he could not return alone, but the answer he spoke was smart.

"There's a number on every tree, right? I just need to find the right number. Not even children will get lost in this place." - Zoro

They were shocked by this and let Zoro move on his own. Jon wanted to move on his own as well, but his body still hurt. But he remembered someone with a back problem who was still active as a shinobi. The 3rd Tsuchikage, so Jon uses the jutsu he uses to lighten his body.

"Doton: Light Rock Jutsu." - Jon

Jon used the jutsu several times until his body did not hurt anymore. But he did not fly, because he never did and did not know how to do it. As usual, Jon made a few clones before spreading out to gather information. The clones didn't have any injury problems like him and they still couldn't feel it because they were shadows, so they could move fast.

Jon himself wears a casual dress, light blue t-shirt, black shorts, and a black hat. He also wears sandals and sunglasses, like a tourist. Jon walked at his own pace and saw many shops there. He also found a bubble vehicle shop and rented it. He wanted to buy it, but a good man told him to rent it. After thanking the man with some takoyaki he had secretly saved earlier, Jon continued on his way. He bought a lot of things, and he was sure that others also bought a lot of things. Nami always distributed her allowance every time she was on an island. Although it was difficult for Jon to carry all the money, he never used more than pocket money. But he still uses his own savings, after all it's his own money.

Some time later, he saw a crowd far in front of him. He saw people kneeling by the roadside, so he knew there must be a Tenryuubito coming. He decided to look and climb the building. He looked up from the roof and he saw a man with a girl wearing an astronaut like clothes.

"They wear bubbles because they don't want to breathe the same air as a normal person? Don't they know that air everywhere is the same? Or maybe they inhale CO2 instead of 02, like plants. Now that I see it, the bubble looks like a terrarium, pfft." - Jon

Jon held back his laughter because he didn't want to create trouble for the people here. Then he heard an explosion from far away. He went to see her, and he found a slave who was most likely injured and nearly dead. He also saw Luffy and his partner so he went down and pulled them away from the street.

"Jon? What are you doing?" - Luffy

"Tenryubitos come here, let's hide in the building first. We don't want to attract their attention." - Jon

"But the man" - Chopper

"Caimie or the guy? Choose it yourself!" - Jon

They entered the building and saw the crowd from the 2nd floor. They peeked out of the window and remained silent. They saw the man being kicked and shot even when he could not move. Jon holds Luffy and closes his mouth because Luffy is angry and wants to go there.

The Straw Hats might have killed their enemies, but they had never fought someone who could not fight back. Also, Luffy was someone who always had a fair fight, so he was angry to see this unfair situation. They are not heroes, but they have humanity.

"Luffy, if you go there now, it will create more trouble for the people here. You will also expose Caimie and Hachi, do you want to see them captured?" - Jon

Luffy finally calmed down and the Tenryubitos left from there. After they left, several marines came and took the dying slave to the hospital. Jon and his partner also walked out of the building. Jon then moves on his own again after warning Luffy to avoid trouble. Although he wasn't sure if Luffy could do it.

Jon then continued cycling around the place with his rental vehicle. After a while, he got some interesting info. Many novice pirates gathered in Shabaody. There were also 12 people with a bounty of over 100 million, including him.

"Heeh, I've always seen it in the papers, but it never occurred to me that we would be gathered here at the same time." - Jon

There are 12 rookie pirates with a bounty of over 100 million. People call it Super Rookie or Supernova. They are said to be the best of their generation and can inspire some to enter piracy.

There are 9 Captains and 3 crew members from 12 Supernovas. The Straw Hat crew has 3 supernovas, Luffy, Jon and Zoro. The rest of the crew only has a captain as a supernova, except for the Kid Pirates who own the Kid Eustass, and the Killer.

"The promise only needs 1 million more to become one of the supernovae. Hahaha, I can tease him with this later." - Jon

As he looked around, Jon saw another crowd kneeling by the side of the road.

"About? Those people definitely like to blend in with normal people when they don't even breathe the same air." - Jon

Jon went to the roof again and saw the crowd below. He saw a tenryubito sitting on top of a human slave walking on four people. Jon gritted his teeth, but he calmed himself down again. He did not like the concept of the slave himself and would never agree with slavery. But he knew he would make trouble for others if he acted impulsively. But then he widened his eyes as he looked in front of the tenryubito.

"That fool, he didn't even look at the road while walking. It's worth it that he's always lost." - Jon

Jon sees Zoro walking towards the tenryubito from the opposite direction. So Jon immediately glanced and took Zoro away to enter the alley. He covered Zoro's mouth and Zoro almost attacked him before calming down when Zoro saw that it was Jon. Jon immediately took Zoro into the building and went to the 2nd floor.

"Jon, what are you doing?" - Zoro

"Idiot, you almost made trouble for these people and our crew." - Jon

"What do you mean?" - Zoro

Suddenly they heard gunshots, so they looked out and saw a man being shot and a woman being arrested. Jon explained what happened to Zoro and he seemed to understand. They want to help but Jon will, he has a good plan.

Jon makes a clone and changes his appearance to that bitch, Enel. Then 'Enel' came out and threw a paper bomb into the sky. It caught everyone's attention, then Enel blinked and took the woman and the man away. He hid it somewhere far away and asked the woman to remain silent and give some advice before she left.

"Shun the trouble?" - Zoro

"As long as they're not after us, it's okay, hahaha." - Jon

Tenryubito was angry and ordered his subordinates to search for them. After the tenryubito leaves, Jon and Zoro go out and want to take another walk when Jon's mushi denden rings. Jon picked it up, but moments later he became very angry and shouted.

"Fuck!" - Jon
