CHAPTER 134: Poseidon
Jon, Luffy, Shirahoshi & the princes return to Fish-Man Island. They went straight to the square to check the situation. By showing Hody's defeat, they could make the New Fish-Man Pirates surrender.
They arrived at the square and it seemed like they did not need to do anything. They have won, the officers have been defeated and the thugs have lost their morale. The Straw Hats had defeated all the attendants, even after they overdosed on their Energy Steroids.
Jon sees an opportunity to make an epic entrance, so he jumps off Shirahoshi's shoulder. Jon ran through the air and jumped down in front of Neptune. Jon jumped from a height and made a loud noise from the impact. He protected his body with Armament, and even hit the ground harder to give it a more dramatic effect. Jon has made his Superhero landings cooler.
He gathered everyone's attention and they all looked at him. Jon stood up slowly and everyone looked at the two people tied up next to him. Jon said nothing and just crossed his arms while grinning. Everyone suddenly cheered seeing Hody & Decken unconscious.
"Luffy-sama, what is Jon-sama doing?"- Shirahoshi
"Don't mind him, Jon likes to show off, that doesn't change after 2 years, hahahaha." - Luffy
"You guys are really weird." - Fukaboshi

Everyone cheered at him, and Jon grinned widely while holding his chin. This was not the highest grade in his book, but this entrance definitely had a great effect. Her best entry scene so far was still Marineford when she fell from the sky in a great war.

Jon then takes Hody & Decken to Neptune so he can do what is needed. He looked around and saw the Royal army capture the pirates. Although it is unclear whether they can put 100,000 of them in jail.
Surprisingly, Neptune freed human slaves. This island was a resting place for pirates, so it was unwise to keep them here. He also did not capture the Fishman pirates, but punished them with community service. He just caught Hody, Decken & the officer.
Luffy & co arrived shortly after, and everyone was relieved that this was over. Straw Hat & Jinbe approaching Luffy. Suddenly Luffy asks Jinbe to join their crew, and Jinbe refuses. Jinbe said he still had other business, so he couldn't join them now.
'So he wants to join, but he can't do it now.' - Jon
"What are we going to do now Luffy?" - Zoro
"Let's run from here, they'll see us as heroes." - Luffy
"Geh!" - Zoro & Jon
The Straw Hats immediately packed their belongings and sailed. Shirahoshi followed them and asked why they had fled. Zoro says he doesn't want to be a hero, because he has to share his interests. Jon also says that he would rather be an antihero than a hero, it looks more badass.
Neptune who has completed the assessment, looking for the Straw Hats. Fikaboshi told him that they had escaped. Neptune chased after them and then invited the Straw Hats to a banquet. Luffy immediately agreed after hearing about the banquet. Others also agreed to eat something after exhausting their energy.
The Straw Hats then went to the palace with the Royals and Jinbe. They will rest there, while waiting for the banquet. Chopper also wanted to take care of Neptune and the princes. Jon helps Chopper close the wound after he takes care of her.
While being treated, Neptune tells the story of his late wife, Otohime. He was someone who had always wanted to make Fish-Man and Man live together. He believed that they could make peace with humans despite hatred.
Jon listens to Otohime's story and doesn't believe how big his heart is. He still believes in humans even after what humans do to his kind. Jon admired his big heart, because he knew he wouldn't be able to do what he did.
After Neptune finished the story, Jinbe also added some about Fisher Tiger. He was the first captain of the Sun Pirates, and the one who freed many slaves from Mary Geoise in the past. He has a different vision to Otohime, but he doesn't hate him.
After hearing Jinbe's story about Fisher Tiger, Jon sighed. Jon knew Tiger had that hatred from his experience with humans. But Tiger did not judge humans indiscriminately like Arlong or Hody, at least after he had saved the slaves.
Jon had heard about Tiger from Koala when he told him about his past as a slave. Jon is surprised, but he is also relieved that Koala was saved. The Koala only knew Tiger's story after he saved him, and Hack didn't know much either. So Jinbe's story explains a lot to Jon.
"Old man Neptune, I know you have the letter to move this island, but don't be too hasty. Before slavery is gone, and human opinion of the Fish-Man, or vice versa changes, do not move to the surface!" - Jon
"Yes, you're right, that's why I still don't do it to this day even after getting the letter. I plan to raise this topic at Reverie this year, what do you think-jamon?" - Neptune
"No, it's not time yet. Do you have a Kingdom or an allied country?"-Jon
"No, not really. We don't really have jamon-allies." - Neptune
"Then I advise you to make friends at Levely this year. I have a suggestion for you to approach the Kingdom of Alabasta. They are also our friends, so it will be easier." - Jon
"Friends? More like family, right? At least for someone." - Nami
"Not yet, soon to be a family." - Robin
Robin and Nami giggle, and Jon sweats

After their conversation ended, finally came the banquet time. The banquet was very lively with many singers and dancers. This was the atmosphere that the Straw Hats liked, not the usual Royal Rigid banquet.
The Straw Hats were inside a huge air bubble while the Fish-Man was underwater. They ate and drank everything they had to celebrate today's victory. It is also the starting point for a better relationship between Fish-Man and Man.
A few hours after the party began, the Straw Hats left the banquet to rest. The Fishmans, still want to party longer. Jon also leaves the party, then he sees Robin & Neptune walking together, so he joins them.
In the backyard of the palace, Robin asks Neptune about the Joy Boy inscribed in a poneglyph he found earlier. Neptune describes the Joy Boy that lived in the Void Century, and then Noah, the promised ship. Joy Boy wrote an apology for the Mermaid Princess at the time for breaking a promise.
Neptune does not know the details, but is passed down from generation to generation from the Ryugu family to protect Noah until the 'promised day'. This is the day when someone will fulfill the promise of Joy Boy. Noah was protected so it could be used on that day.
"The ability to talk to Seakings, does Joy Boy have it?" - Robin
"No, that power has always been with Mermaids from time to time. Shirahoshi had it. He showed the sign for the first time when Otohime was dead-jamon." - Neptune had a grim face
"You don't like that power?" - Jon
"Not at all, at least I don't want Shirahoshi to have it-jamon." - Neptune
"Poneglyph on Skypiea mentions about an ancient weapon located on Fish-Man Island. If I'm right, then the Mermaid Princess has another name that Shirahoshi inherited. Ancient Weapon, Poseidon." - Robin
Jon widened his eyes, he never thought that the ancient weapon could be a living creature. No wonder Neptune doesn't like her daughter to have that power. If it was known by the wrong people, it would be dangerous for Shirahoshi and Fish-Man Island.
"Then we all need to hide this fact. If the World Government or the wrong forces knew, they would do anything to obtain it or even eliminate it. Ancient weapons can provide great power, but also great threat." - Jon
"That's right-jamon." - Neptune
"It is better not to talk about this to others. The three of us can keep a secret, but others may not." - Robin
After finishing their talk, Jon leaves because Robin still wants to ask about history. He went to see another crew, who were resting from the party as well. He comes just as Jinbe explains about the changes in the Marine.
Jon already knew this because he lived in the most up-to-date force. Akainu has become Fleet Admiral after defeating Aokiji in battle. The battle took 10 days and nights, on an island in the New World. Akainu did not kill Aokiji and even let him leave the Marines after his loss.
Jon doesn't really care about what's going on in the Marine. However, he was a little worried because Akainu was so ruthless and could do anything. He is different from Sengoku or Aokiji, as Akainu would not think twice about destroying an island or killing his allies for his justice.
Still, Jon knows that now the Marines are getting stronger. Akainu is still in her prime, unlike Sengoku, so she is very strong and can be stronger. Marine also has 2 new admirals, who have powers rivaling the previous ones. Now they had 4 Admiral level powers above them.
Jinbe then explains about the new threat, Yonkou Blackbeard. Their crew had conquered Whitebeard's territory since his death at Marineford. Blackbeard knew all of Whitebeard's territory because he was the crew before. That was also why Jinbe chose to side with Big Mom rather than with Teach.
Blackbeard pirates are known to be power hunters. They hunted those who had powerful demon fruits and took them. No one knows how they do it, but it could be due to the unique demonic fruit power of Teach.
Jinbe asks Luffy to be careful with Teach, as they have bad blood between them. Luffy, don't listen and
go before Jinbe is done. Jinbe scolded him
and Luffy just said he'd let things be a coincidence. Zoro just tells Jinbe to give up, they will listen in for Luffy.
Before they could continue, they heard a commotion outside. They examined it and found that it was Neptune, the princes, and the soldiers. They see a strange thing happening in Hody's cell and mention the treasure that interests Nami & Jon.
They follow Neptune to the dungeon and go to Hody's cell. What they found there was shocking, but Jon wasn't too surprised. Hody & his officers have become parents. Even so, they were still talking about exterminating humans, or killing the Straw Hats.
"As I thought, the side effect is maturing the cells at high speed. Although I never thought it would be this fast, but probably due to an overdose." - Jon
"Their metabolism runs so fast that it makes their cells mature more
quick one. It was so fast that it took years
years the age of cells in a few hours."' - Chopper
"Hody, don't tell me that Energy Steroids are actually pills in Tamatebakko that were stolen 10 years ago. Now come to think of it, it was after you withdrew from the Royal Guard." - Minister of The Left
"You're right, hahaha, stupid. Now I'm going to kill you all and humans." - Hody
Hody tried to break his cell, but he broke his wrist instead. The squid tried to help, but his back was also broken. Even so, they still curse and say they want to exterminate humans. It makes everyone feel sorry instead of hating them.
They leave the dungeon, and Neptune even thinks of granting them forgiveness. Fukaboshi also said he would forgive Hody for killing his mother. They really felt sorry for the madness of these people.
