Merry's stomach suddenly broke and split into two. The crew did not believe what they saw and asked Iceburg and Galley-la people to help and fix Merry. But they can't, Merry's been broken
far beyond what they can fix.

Iceburg informs them that she has fixed Merry before sailing to Enies Lobby to pick them up for their final adventure together. Luffy then lit Merry's fire and it started. The fire spread very quickly and immediately, covering Merry's entire body. They were all trying to be strong, but their eyes were still watery. Then Jon remembered Naruto's words when Neji died.
