Chapter 127: The Deep Sea

Jon, Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Chopper arrive where their ship is docked. Jon finally met all his friends after 2 years apart. They all look different and appear stronger or smarter. He wanted to know what happened to them in these 2 years, but they had to leave this island first.

As Jon thought about this, suddenly Sanji's blood came out from his nose. Then he flew a little and fell into the sea, so Jon jumped up and took him to the ship. Sanji murmured about Nami & Robin being sexier, prettier, and more.

Jon thinks that Sanji is overdoing it, but then he remembers when Dragon informs him that Sanji is being trained by Iva in the Kingdom of Kamabakka. Jon remembered he was laughing out loud that day. Kamabakka is full of Okamas, so Sanji must have felt like he was living in hell. So now Jon knows why Sanji overreacted, because it's the first time he's seen a real woman after 2 years.

Chopper treated Sanji with several blood transfusion bags. Jon then gets the idea and he puts Sanji under genjutsu hypnosis when he is weak. It will be an exciting show to watch later, and Jon can't wait to see it.

Jon sees Luffy very impressed with Franky's new robot body. Jon is also impressed, but he's not too surprised, as RA scientists also created some cyborgs. They use the body of the Pacifista that Jon brought, and can make it back to help its members who lost parts of his body.

Jon was actually more impressed with Usopp for getting those muscles. He's definitely training hard, but Jon hopes that not only will his body change, he'll also have to be braver. Then he saw that Brook was still a skeleton, and Chopper was a child. Jon looked at Nami and raised an eyebrow.

"Nami, put on some clothes! Did you lose money to buy decent clothes?" - Jon

"No, it's fashion, you just don't know women's fashion. Besides, you better keep our money safe and not use it for yourself." - Nami

"Come on, I'm not you. I always use my own money, my money is my money, your money is your money." - Jon

"Hmph, you better tell me the truth, I'll count it later." - Nami

"Yeah yeah yeah, just count if you want." - Jon

Suddenly several ships appeared and opened fire on them. They only want to fight back when a familiar ship sails between the Marines and the Sunny. Jon sees the Kuja pirate ship coming and the Marine ships stop their attack. Hancock is a Sichibukai, so they are allies of the Navy.

"Hey Luffy, it's the Kuja Pirates." - Jon

"Ah, Hancock and the others." - Luffy

"Are you coming with them?" - Jon

"Yes, they gave me food and clothes. They also asked me to thank you, for the metal." - Luffy

"I'm just replying to their help, it's no big deal." - Jon

"Kuja Pirates, led by the Sichibukai, Pirate Queen, 'Snake Princess' Boa Hancock. She is said to be the most beautiful woman in the world, and everyone who is captivated by her can turn to stone." - Robin

Usopp, Brook and Sanji immediately try to look over to Kuja's ship and look for Hancock. Usopp & Brook become very fascinated, but Sanji soon turns to stone.

"You know the Pirate Empress, Luffy?" - Nami

"I was thrown into Girl Island 2 years ago, and they're all my friends." - Luffy

"LUFFY, YOU, DID YOU REALLY TRAIN IN THESE 2 YEARS?" - Sanji cried as he grabbed Luffy's collar.

"Yes, of course." - Luffy

Sanji became very depressed and cried on the floor. Jon wanted to add some spice, but an arrow suddenly flew towards him. Jon caught the arrow and he saw the arrow was blunt. There was paper tied to the arrow, and Jon read it. It was from Aphelandra, he liked the metal for his sword and was very grateful for it.

Jon just smiled, he didn't have to shoot an arrow just to say thank you. Jon needed to teach him something, so he also wrote a reply on paper. He tied it to a blunt spear, and then he threw it at the Kuja ship.

He pointed a spear at the fence in front of Aphelandra. He was surprised and it reminded the entire crew, but they became relaxed seeing it just to send a message from Jon. They even laughed at Aphelandra out of fear, he was a bit shy.

"Aphelandra, open the letter, I want to see it too." - Margaret

"Okay, let's see. 'Welcome, but you don't have to shoot an arrow at my head with a layer of haki inside. This spear is my revenge.-Jon'. Is he angry?" - Aphelandra

"No, he was just teasing you, and he was right, you can't shoot your letter arrows at his head with haki, even if it's outspoken" - Nyonba

"Yes, I get it." - Aphelandra

In Sunny, the crew prepared everything they needed to sail. Franky dived in and opened a mechanism that allowed the layers on the ship to expand. They also unfurled the screen and pulled the anchor as usual. After everything was prepared, Luffy gave his speech.

"Everything ready, Nami?" - Luffy

"Yes, we just need your order, Captain." - Nami

"Alright, YOU! There's a lot going on and we need to talk about it. But now we've gathered again, and are ready for our journey. This is where it all starts again, COME SAIL!" - Luffy

They sailed again, but instead of sailing on the water, the ship dived like a submarine. They dived quickly, and followed the log pose to Fish-Man Island. Jon looked out to sea, and felt like he was in a giant aquarium.

Then after the ship stabilizes, Franky calls them. He begins to tell the story of Kuma protecting their ship in these 2 years. Franky met him a few days ago, and he has become a mindless robot. He had saved them in the past, but when they met again, they would become enemies.

Jon didn't say anything, because it was enough for them. As long as they knew Kuma was helping them, then it didn't matter. Then Jon gave the RA data after inspecting their Pacifista & project to be utilized by Franky. Franky is excited and Jon leaves, and Zoro calls Jon.

"Oi Jon, are you using a new sword?" - Zoro

"Only one is new, the other is my Kusanagi. I just changed it after finding the style I like." - Jon

Jon takes his twin sword and gives it to Zoro. Jon also asks to see Wado lchimonji, and he checks on her. This is also a sword made by Kozaburo, jdi Jon wants to know. This sword was made of extremely powerful materials and he could sense that Kozaburo was exerting all his heart to make it.

"Oi Jon, this sword, why is it so heavy?" - Zoro

Jon sees Zoro lifting Inari with difficulty because it feels heavy for him, so Jon takes it from him.

"This is Inari, and it was made personally for me. Made with a special method that makes swords can only be used by me. Others will feel it heavy, and even if you attack with it, the sword will become blunt." - Jon

Jon made small wooden blocks and cut them easily using Inari. Then he gave it to Zoro and Zoro tried to cut the beam with the weight of Inari. Zoro was shocked to see the beam was not sliced but broken, even tough he knew Inari was very sharp.

"Interesting, a sword that can only be used by one person. Where did you make it?" - Zoro

"Well, he asked me not to reveal his identity." - Jon

After that, they plan to conduct a match exercise on the next islands. Suddenly a ship pulled by little Seaking came towards them. Jon looks at the ship and sees that they are pirates who were tricked by the fake Straw Hats earlier. He didn't know why they came here.

Moments later, their ship arrives next to Sunny. They continued to crash their ship into Sunny, and seemed to be trying to merge their bubbles. The Straw Hats could not fight recklessly to avoid the bubble bursting.

Nami seemed to know Little Cow Seaking and called it. The trembling cow seemed to recognize him, and was frightened to see Luffy & Sanji. Then their bubbles merge and their captain jumps to Sunny. But suddenly, fear seemed to swim away and pull his ship, leaving his captain behind.

The Straw Hats only saw the only captain, Caribou who kept raving about killing them. Jon just sighed and handcuffed the sea stone at her. Jon sees that he has red chakra, so he is a devil fruit user.

"Should we throw it into the sea?" - Jon

"NOOO, MASTEERR, PLEASE DON'T THROW ME INTO THE SEA. I WAS ONLY FORCED BY THOSE PIRATES." - Caribou

Jon sighed at this pitiful guy, then he tied him to the fence. They went deeper and the weather started to cool, so they wore jackets. The boys saw fish swimming around their ship. Nami also asked Caribou about the Cow Harvesting. Caribou explains that they can use the seaking they catch to tow the ship.

Now Luffy wants to catch a big fish to pull his boat. They were looking for fish to catch and eat. Deep sea creatures are very interesting to see. Jon even sees the fish like a blob fish, and they want to eat it, but Nami forbids it.

"Come on, Nami, that fish may be the most delicious fish we've ever eaten." - Jon

"NO, it doesn't look good at all." - Nami

"It's all about the taste, not the look," - Jon tried to persuade her, but nothing worked.

Nami then started explaining to them about how they were going to go to Fish-Man Island. There was a unique current that they would use to reach Fish-Man Island. Nami explains it, and Jon understands the point.

Sanji was awake and Jon clicked his tongue. Nami & Robin once wore a jacket that covered her entire body. Jon has put Sanji under certain suggestions that will only work when he is overstimulated.

They reach the location where the current flows. It looks like a waterfall in the sea, and it flows through a large hole in the ocean floor. The seabed here was shallower, and there was still a deeper place.

Nami then told them that there were many ships that failed to reach Fish-Man Island. They were being destroyed by the current or attacked by Seaking. Brook then begins to tell their story of a ghost ship or deep sea monster.

Just when they heard it, a huge tentacle appeared before them. Calling it big is an understatement, it's giant, massive. They saw it and there was only one word on their minds, Kraken. This is a large octopus with an orange color and it seems to be hunting for its food.

The Kraken saw them and the cowardly trio were still as frightened as ever. Luffy wants to catch him, Robin draws him, Brook compares himself to a boneless octopus, and Jon thinks of the Kraken from mythology. Luffy then asks Zoro, Sanji, & Jon to help him catch him, but Jon refuses.

"Think about that Luffy, how are you going to approach the creature? You can't fight on a ship or it'll break bubbles." - Jon

"Hmm, right too, so what should we do?" - Luffy

"No, the problem is not the bubble, it's the size of the thing." - Usopp

Luffy did not listen and still wanted to catch the Kraken. Then suddenly the Carribou ship came again, and they wanted to save him. But as they approach, the Kraken tentacles capture the ship and destroy it.

"They look like a jellyfish school." - Zoro

"They went up to Heaven." - Jon

"CLOSE YOU TWO!" - Carribou

Then finally Carribou told them how to leave the ship and fight. They made a human-sized bubble that could be used to exit the ship. Luffy, Zoro, & Sanji use the bubble and leave the ship. Jon stays behind to protect the ship after the cowardly trio asks for him. Jon just stays on the ship and sees the trio leaving the ship while eating meat

"Let's see your progress in these 2 years." - Jon
