CHAPTER 60: The Experiment Failed

After talking to Jon, Robin sat in the back seat. Jon knows he needs his own time, he doesn't know what it's like to be hated and chased for 20 years just because you can read something. But he knew that Robin needed love and care.

The crew loved her, but she had to see it for herself. Jon's words move him, but he's not sure yet and still thinks his choice is right. Jon knew that his words alone could not convince him. The only person who could move his heart to this point was Luffy himself.

All he needs is to see for himself, that his friends won't let him die, especially Luffy. He was the reason he chose to continue living after nearly dying in Alabasta. Now he needs to know that he has people who love him very much and will fight for him.

While Robin sits still in deep thought, Jon decides to sleep after eating medicine and pills to recover himself. He also opened the handcuffs in both his hands and kept them in the inventory before going to bed. He slept like he was not a prisoner at all and was just as cold as ever.

Meanwhile, Sanji has infiltrated the back wagon. He defeats the agents and marines in the back and then finds Franky and Usopp tied up there. Sanji wants to beat Franky but Usopp stops him and says he's not that bad. Sanji then releases her, and frees the two, as her priority now is Robin.

They move to the roof of the wagon and call Nami. He called out to her, because the captain did not pick up his phone. Nami then calls Luffy and he gets into the wagon. Nami and the others chased after them

now, with another sea train.

~ Some time ago ~

The Straw Hats go to the Blue Station after they escape the burning house. They ran there quickly, but somehow they got separated and some of them met with a CP9 agent on the way. They fought but ended up losing to the strange skill CP9.

After a while, they stand up again and try to find a train at Blue Station but have already departed, only Sanji can get there and take the train.

Then Grandma Kokoro decided to help them and used the first prototype of the sea train. Franky's family and Galley-la's men also follow them to save Franky and avenge Iceburg.

Sanji then reported what happened at the Blue Station and the situation now. When they hear what happened to Jon, the Franky Family and the Galley-la people are shocked. The straw hats did not feel so surprised but they were worried.

"How are you?" - Luffy

"The bastard won't die that easily." - Sanji

"So where is Jon & Robin now?" - Luffy

"Most likely ahead with CP9 guarding them. They were stationed there because of their threat level. Robin-chan is due to his bounty, and Jon has beaten many of them at Blue Station. So they won't let a normal agent keep an eye on them." - Sanji

"Well then Sanji, do as you please!" - Luffy

"Alright, Captain." - Sanji smiled and he smashed the microphone.

Then Sanji gets ready and Franky decides to help them. He was touched by what happened to his crew. They asked Usopp but he refused to help because he was not a member of the crew anymore. He left, but moments later he came back in a robe and mask.

"I'm a friend of Usopp's, and he told me the situation. I'll help you save the girl, my name is Sogeking" - Uso - .. No, Sogeking.

After his sudden introduction he sang a made-up song about Sogeking. Sanji & Franky of course saw through his disguise. But Sanji tells Franky to let him go, as Usopp may feel he can't help them directly so he uses this way.

They make plans and execute them quickly. They lured marines and agents from the middle carriage to the back. After they all moved there, including their captain, the three of them moved to the empty middle wagon, through the roof.

Then they cut off the chain connecting the carriage and the 2 carriages behind that were left by the train with the marines and agents inside.

Then they went into the cart in front until they went into the kitchen. The kitchen is guarded by a strange cook who is actually an agent.

His name is Wanze and he makes ramen noodles with his nose. Surely the three of them did not want to try the ramen when he offered it. After some talk, they decide to let Sanji handle it. He could not let someone serve such food, that was his pride as a cook.

Franky and Usopp moved forward and arrived at the 3rd wagon guarded by a thin man who looked like a ferret. Franky then decides to fight him and asks Sogeking to come forward. Sogeking slipped past the second cart filled with CP9 agents and came to the first cart. He peeked through the window and Robin saw him.

Robin was surprised to see him outside the window. Then he came in and talked to her. Robin doesn't know that Usopp has left the crew. Jon didn't tell him that, because he knew Robin was trying to save them all. So he would not tell her this sad news.

Usopp tried to convince Robin that he wanted to return, but Robin did not change his mind. Ironic too when Usopp tried to convince him to come back. Someone who had left the crew tried to convince him not to leave. They talked and forgot Jon who slept soundly in the front seat.

Their arguments made a loud noise that caught the attention of the agents behind. The agent commanded by CP9, Corgi, was sent to check on him.

Sogeking immediately hid in Robin's robes. The agent initially finds nothing wrong, but then he finds Sogeking in hiding.

Sogeking then fought with the Corgi, and eventually won. Sanji and Franky who had finished their fight also advanced and entered the 2nd wagon filled with CP9 agents. Robin then ran into the wagon and once again, refusing their help, he even attacked Sogeking.

But then Sogeking threw a smoke bomb and took it to the 3rd wagon. Franky then picks up Robin and they run to the last wagon. Then they cut off the chain and the wagon slipped off the train.

"Oi, have we forgotten something?" - Franky

"Ah, let's forget Jon. Well, he can take care of himself. Let's get out of here!" - Sanji said lightly.

"Oioioi" - Franky & Sogeking

But then their carts were pulled again. Agent CP9 has thrown some nailed ropes and caught their wagon. Then they try to take Robin but Franky pushes the front wall until it breaks and the wagon is released again, but he is instead pulled by the wagon and arrested again.

Then Blueno used his demonic fruit and made a door inside their wagon. He appears behind Robin and takes her with him before instantly disappearing and appearing inside the carriage. Sanji & Sogeking could do nothing now that they had been abandoned by the carriage. They can only wait for the other train.

Robin and Franky were placed in the first carriage. Then everyone saw him, someone had been sleeping quietly in the big commotion earlier. CP9 also sees Jon's handcuffs missing. They didn't know how but they handcuffed him again before they went to the second wagon again.

"How could this man sleep in all that commotion? Let me wake him." - Franky

Franky then tries to punch Jon in the face, but suddenly Jon moves and holds Franky's neck with his hands from behind and points the kunai at Franky's neck. Then he wakes up and sees Franky with his active sharing.

"Who?" - Jon

"OIOIOI, RELAX! ME!" - Franky

"Franky? Bastard, what are you doing?" - Jon

"I just want to wake you up." - Franky

Jon then looked around and found Robin staring at him with wide eyes. He did not find anyone else and they were still in the carriage. He let go of Franky and sat down.

"What do you want?" - Jon

Franky then recounts what happened to Jon who knew nothing. Jon was so surprised that he was still sleeping after all the commotion. The side effects of the drugs are very strong.

"Hmm? I'm handcuffed again?" - Jon

Jon then opened his handcuffs again easily by putting them into the inventory. Franky and Robin looked at him with wide eyes. He was still cold even after that explanation. But then, Jon tried to sleep again, making them even more dumbfounded.

"Oi, do you want to sleep again?" - Franky

"Of course, I have to prepare myself for the upcoming fight." - Jon

"Why not run away now?" - Franky

"Even if we run away, they'll come after us again. So it's better to end this forever. We will destroy everything and defeat everyone who wants to disturb us. We can't keep running away forever." - Jon

Jon doesn't care anymore and just sleeps. But he could not sleep anymore now that he was awake. Then he decided to read some scrolls. He read about hand seals, chakra forms and natural transformations.
