CHAPTER 44: Defying God

Kirin's Jutsu is said to be easier to control and harder to make. Kirin needs a long preparation like the cloud, but Enel has made it so that Jon can get through that step. ~ About Giant Jack ~

Nami, Luffy, and Jon sense Jack move and they begin their plan. Nami and Luffy ride the wobble at full speed to ride the fallen Jack. Jon and his clone remain in the flying cloud and continue to control the ever-expanding Kirin. Enel keeps trying to take control of Kirin but Jon and his clone won't give it away easily.

Enel sees Luffy and Nami almost arriving, so he stops fighting Jon because of Kirin and decides to attack Luffy and Nami. But Jon controls Kirin to defend them, easier without Enel's interference. Enel felt enough with this and he made a much bigger ball than before on top of everything.

"LUFFY, JUST GO, I'LL WATCH HIM!" - Jon

"Yahahaha, your previous luck will not be repeated." - Enel

"Luck?" - Jon

Jon now begins to pant as he needs to use a lot of chakra to control Kirin as Enel tries to take over. The lightning logia was no joke, she was basically the lightning itself. To control Kirin, Jon needs to use more chakra, and he is also new to learning this technique so he needs more chakra than usual.

So the chakra used to control it is already high enough. He could spend less chakra if he just dropped his Kirin and didn't make it spin around in the sky like he did now.
