CHAPTER 129: Ryugu Palace

The Straw Hats had arrived at Fish-Man Island, and they wanted to explore it on their own. But then Nami stops them and says they have to find Caimie first. He was their friend, so it was appropriate for them to meet him first. They also need to inquire about Hachi's condition after he protects Sunny.

They agree and go find Caimie's house. Jon stayed behind for a moment and he called out to Zetsus. Zetsu joined in his body after he made the seal, and they were inside the seal. It's like how Obito planted Zetsus in Sasuke's body. The seal was a tattoo of a Straw Hat jolly roger on her shoulder.

"You spread it out and find any information in this place, as detailed as possible. #1 will report to me regularly as usual." - Jon

"Yes, boss!" - Zetsus

Zetsu spread out in various directions to gather information. Jon even gave them money to buy whatever they wanted. They have emotions, and they seem to be very similar to Jon. They were like children, and he was like their role model, so they also liked to spend money and have fun At least they wouldn't be evil beings like the ones in Naruto.

Jon also locks Caribou in a prison he made out of wood. The sea stone handcuffs would weaken him, and he would not be able to break into the prison. Jon also leaves a wooden clone to guard the ship and their captives. Maybe he can get a Caribou bounty on New World. Jon knew Caribou was worth over 200 million, so he wouldn't waste it.

The Straw Hats then wonder to find Caimie's home, but some Fish-Man are reluctant to answer her. Jon didn't think much of it, because he knew Fish-Man tended to hate humans, Hack told him this. They eventually find Caimie's address and go there.

After walking for some time, they reached Caimie's house. They knocked, then Caimie came out and was happy to see them. They entered the house and they also saw 5 identical little mermaids.

these 5 little mermaids are called Medaka Mermaid Quintuplets. They look identical except for their color scheme. Their names are Ichika, Nika, Sanka, Yonka, and Yonka Two. Jon is confused as to why it's Yonka Two from Goka. They also speak with a unique pattern that always makes Jon laugh.

Nami then asks about Pappagg and Hachi. Caimie says that Pappagg is in his mansion, while Hachi is recuperating in Fishman District. Jon & Chopper will visit Hachi later and treat him.

Caimie then invites them to meet with her daughter's mermaid friends at Mermaid Cove. They work together at Mermaid Cafe, and often relax at Mermaid Cove. They agreed and followed Caimie, they knew nothing here, so it was better to have a guide.

When they get there, Sanji says he has found his "All Blue", getting sweat from everyone. They were all relaxing there with the Mermaid Princess while asking a lot of questions. Jon asks about Jinbe's whereabouts, and they say that Jinbe is not in

Fish-Man Island after resigning as Sichibukai.

"Hmm, with him resigning from the Sichibukai, this place will be vulnerable." - Robin

"I heard that Fish-Man Island was under Whitebeard before. Now that he's dead and his crew is disbanded, whose territory is this place now?" - Jon

"It's under Big Mom's protection now." - Caimie

"Hmm, Big Mom is not a bad choice for now. I prefer Shanks, but Big Mom is certainly a better choice than Kaido, and Teach." - Jon

"Who are they? I know Shanks, but I don't

know the others." - Luffy

"They are Yonkou, the 4 strongest pirates at the moment. They had many territories in the name of protection, and controlled the New World. They are your greatest challenge to reach the Pirate King seat." - Jon

"Hmmm, that? But this Big Mom must be a good person, because she took over Whitebeard's parents' job to protect this island." - Luffy

"good? It would be nice if he was kind, but he was not at all like Whitebeard. He's not as bad as Kaido or Teach, but he doesn't protect the island out of kindness or friendship." - Jon

"That's right, Whitebeard never asked for anything, but Big Mom always asked for candy every month." - Caimie

"It's business for him, but at least he's asking for food. Kaido & Teach could have destroyed the country because of their 'cost' for protection." - Jon

"You know a lot about them." - Zoro

"Of course, I travel the world and get a lot of information from them. 'Red Hair' Shanks, 'Big Mom' Charlotte Linlin, 'Hundred Beast' Kaido, and most recently 'Blackbeard' Marshall D. Teach." - Jon

Jon gave no further explanation about the Emperor. They will eventually clash, but they also need to enjoy their journey. Jon would only tell them when they were about to clash with that Emperor. Moreover, he did not have complete information about them. Incomplete information will not help them at all.

Jon then relaxes and swims with the mermaids. He's not cheating, just interacting with new friends. Jon also dives and tries to race mermaids by swimming underwater. Jon tries to use Geppo like Sanji did, but he still can't get close to the mermaid.

They came out of the water and were surprised to see the Straw Hats hiding. Jon noticed there were some merfolk flying with bubbles and riding as if they had some kind of ship on their body and flying with bubbles as well. They see Jon and the mermaid looking scared and guilty.

"Are you from the Straw Hat pirates?" - Merman

"Yes, who are you?" - Jon

"My name is Fukaboshi, the first prince of Ryugu Kingdom. I'm here to send a message from Jinbe to the Straw Hat pirates." - Fukaboshi

"Jinbe? What's the message?" - Luffy

Luffy suddenly came out from hiding, and the others could only come out as well. It seemed that they thought that the nobles wanted to capture them. Mermaids thought that way because it was impossible for nobles to come just to meet pirates.

The princes invited them to the palace, and they agreed. The Straw Hats ask if Caimie and some mermaids can come. The princes allowed it, but the mermaids refused. They were too scared and nervous to enter the royal palace. Still, the Straw Hats pulled Caimie to come, they even chose Pappag from her home.

The Straw Hats did not think much and followed the princes to Ryugu Palace. They flew to the upper side of the bubble and then saw a gate similar to the one they used to enter Fish-Man Island. Ryugu Palace is located in a small bubble outside the large bubble that surrounds the island.

They entered the palace and went to the throne room. They met a very large mermaid who sat on the throne. He is the King of the Ryugu Kingdom, King of Neptune.

"Welcome, Straw Hat pirates. I am Neptune, King of the Ryugu Kingdom. Just get to the point, I have a message from Jinbe for you-jamon." - Neptune

"Jamon?" - Jon

"Jinbe said 'Don't fight Hody' and 'I'll wait in the Sea Forest. That's her-jamon." - Neptune

"Damn, does the jinbe not believe we can win?" - Luffy

"But we didn't do that." Chopper

"It's not that simple, because they just know that it's people who do that. It's been like that for hundreds of years." - Robin

"That's why I hope you won't fight Hody and his crew. We don't want to make hate grow stronger." - Neptune

"Huh, don't get your hopes up. Even if we keep quiet, they will still try anything to get us. We're not going to just stand by and let them do what they want. Remember that we're still pirates, we don't care about the rules." - Jon

As they talked about the fish man and man, Luffy smelled something and followed it. He could not listen to such a conversation at all, as he could not understand it. Zoro also began to fall asleep, and only a few people listened seriously. After some talk, they agree to only fight Hody & his gang if they attack first.

"Where is Luffy?" - Jon

"Eh!?" - Nami

They were all looking for Luffy, when suddenly they heard a loud bang. Neptune said it was an attack from Vander Decken IX. He proposes to a mermaid, Shirahoshi, but is rejected. Then he began to threaten her by using his devil fruit to throw weapons.

"We can only place Shirahoshi in a closed room to protect her. We still can't find Vander Decken until now-jamon." - Neptune

"Mermaid princess, can we meet her?" - Sanji

Sanji isn't nosebleed anymore now, because every time he's aroused, he'll see the girl turn into okama. Now he was gradually able to control his obedience.

Neptune granted it, and they all went to the princess's room. There were many guards following them, it seemed like the attacks were frequent. They arrived at Shirahoshi's room, and they saw that the door was full of weapons stuck there.

Suddenly something flew towards them from afar. Zoro jumped up and wanted to block it, but it was actually human. So Zoro did not use his sword, and just punched the human into the ground.

Jon wanted to interrogate this human, when suddenly the door of the princess room opened. A huge shark that seemed to want to puke out with Luffy's head. He saw everyone and ordered the shark to run.

Jon noticed something was wrong, so he activated his sharing. Jon sees someone inside the shark's mouth, and it's shaped like a big princess. Jon slaps his forehead, just as they are told to avoid trouble, their captain makes trouble.

Jon makes Susanoo a full upper body skeleton and catches the shark and Luffy. He brought Luffy in front of him and tapped his finger. Luffy sweated and looked away, the shark did the same.

Jon then opens the mouth of the shark and a large mermaid comes out. Everyone was shocked by this and the guards raised their weapons. The princess was inside the shark's mouth and left her room.

"Fa-dad, forgive me." - Shirahoshi cried

"WHAT DOES THIS JAMON MEAN?" - Neptune

"SILENCE! I want to know too." - Jon

Jon slams Susanoo's hand to the floor, stopping everyone.

"Explain yourself before I cut your spending on meat!" - Jon

"EEEHHHH?! W-Well, so he's been locked in his room for a long time. He wanted to get out but he was scared, because someone attacked him. I want to take him out, and I'll protect him from those people's attacks." - Luffy

"Is that really Shirahoshi?" - Fukaboshi

"Y-yes, I'm sorry. ." - Shirahoshi

crying again

They're all relieved, but Nami still has

the problem.

"So you want to go and make trouble for us who are still in the palace by kidnapping the princess? Good, your expenses will be cut in half for a week." - Nami

"NO!" - Luffy had a look of horror on his face, his flesh would be reduced for a week.

"So that's the case, how about you let him go with Luffy for today, Neptune?" - Jon

"I trust you because Jinbe also trusts you, but can you really stop the attack?" - Neptune

"Hey, I only blocked one of them easily, so Luffy can do it too." - Zoro

"I think you're right, but I still can't let an unknown person take the princess, so I'll send some guards to go with you." - Neptune

Luffy agreed and finally the princess was able to leave her room. Nami, Sanji, Usopp, Chopper and Brook followed them as well. Robin wants to move out on his own, and Franky wants to meet someone he knows. Zoro wants to stay and try sake in the palace. Jon wants to interrogate the humans they've captured.

Jon & Zoro went to the meeting room, and drank sake. Jon & Zoro tried it, and it must have been good. Jon then begins to interrogate the humans they captured earlier with genjutsu. But all of a sudden, some soldiers came in and pointed their guns at Jon & Zoro.

"Straw Hat Pirates, you are suspected of planning to destroy this island. Surrender!" - Left Minister
