CHAPTER 65: Art is Explosion

~ Moments before Luffy wins ~

When Jon had just started fighting the 5 vice admirals, he heard a loud bang from the direction of the island and saw Luffy turn his legs into giant legs and slam him into the ship where Lucci was standing. He split the ship in half but Lucci survived and he was able to go to the other side of the bridge where Robin & the rest of the crew lived.

They had finished their fight and went to see Robin. But they also saw Luffy and Jon fight. They don't believe Jon fought a lot of marines alone. Zoro & Sanji wanted to help but they couldn't run on the water like Jon.

There were no ships either because the ship had been used by marines and agents fleeing the Buster Call. The last ship had also been destroyed by Luffy, so they could only wait there. They were all worried to see Jon fight 5 vice admirals at once.

"Will he be all right?" - Chopper

"Trust him, Jon always has a plan and he won't fight without planning anything first. So if he goes up against that many people, he must be sure that his plan will work." - Sanji

"More importantly, we need to find a ship to get out of here. The ships are approaching and will soon be within range." - Zoro

Jon's clone has infiltrated the ship and Jon has harassed the vice admiral, but several ships are ordered to attack the Straw Hats. There were still some Rear Admiral, and Jon could not take it all as he fought the vice admiral.

The ships that had arrived within the range of the attack began to bombard the bridge. They target a place that connects the crew residence and where Luffy fights. They managed to separate them, then 2 ships filled with many soldiers and officers came down and attacked the crew. They tried to catch Robin again.

The crew fought with the marines and they were on the winning side. Although formidable some of the Marine officers have strange demonic fruit powers, but after some hardships they can finally win the fight. Although they get more Zoro's wounds and swords, Yubashiri is rusted and destroyed by a marine with rust power. But they won and managed to repel the soldiers.

Then they heard a loud bang, and saw Luffy almost defeated. He was deeply injured after forcing himself to the limit of his abilities with his new skill. Although he had chakra pills to give him energy, but his injuries would not heal with pills. They also see Jon clamped and his hands cuffed. Jon could not move anymore and stayed there.

"Any .." Robin

"What is that?" - Chopper

"Sea stone should have no effect on its power since it was not a demonic fruit. Is he planning something?" - Robin

"Well, he's very calculative so that's for sure. That's why I'm more worried about Luffy, he doesn't plan anything at all." - Nami

The Marines do not believe Luffy defeated Rob Lucci, the strongest in CP9 history, alone. Lucci is very famous for his strength and he never fails in his mission and always defeats his enemies. But now he's defeated by a rookie pirate.

The vice admiral also saw it and took his eyes off Jon. There was no way a demon fruit user could move freely after being handcuffed with seastone. But oh boy, Jon wasn't a user of the devil fruit, so it wouldn't affect him at all, so he grinned widely at Luffy's victory.

"It's time." - Jon

He contacted all his clones who had infiltrated the ship. Meanwhile, the vice admiral gave the order to bombard the Straw Hats' place of stay. But then they saw the Straw Hats suddenly jump into the sea and thought that they were desperate. But Jon had other thoughts, he widened his eyes and could not believe what he was seeing.

he never expected that Merry would come and save the crew. Jon smiled broadly and he decided to end this now. He blinked to the figure of the head in front of the ship. This surprised everyone on the ship.

Jon who was covered in wounds on his body that was not covered in red armor, smiled and looked terrifying with so much blood all over his body. He opened the handcuffs easily and put them into the inventory.

Suddenly 20 clones appeared on each figure of the ship's head, and 11 clones were removed after giving the scrolls to Jon and 9 other clones. The Marines were shocked to see so many Jons on their ship.

The clones immediately ran away from there and ran on the water towards Merry. The vice admiral issued an order to attack but Jon interfered.

"Ma ~ ma , don't be impatient, there's still something I have to give you." - Jon

Suddenly, Onigumo attacks Jon, unwilling to talk nonsense with pirates. Jon had predicted this so he jumped as high as he could.

"Do you like art?" - Jon

"I don't care about art" - Onigumo

"Then let me tell you, ART IS EXPLOSION!" - Jon

Jon spread his arms wide and his blurred clone made a hand seal.

*BOOM BOOM BOOM*

The naval warship exploded at the same time. The vice admiral reacted quickly, and they covered their bodies with haki weaponry. Marines who could use it also covered themselves. Mostly only officers can use it.

The ships were destroyed and broke into many pieces. Jon uses a bunch of paper bombs to make sure shrapnel is destroyed completely. But it seemed like he was exaggerating, as his explosion became too large that it made a shockwave that pushed him back far as well.

The explosion on the upper side of the ship also ate a lot of marines. They were killed or injured in the explosion. Jon's heart became stronger to do something like this. They are enemies, and Jon must do so if he wants to protect his loved ones.

Aokiji had clearly shown her, this is a dog eating world. The strong will get anything and the weak will die. Especially since they were pirates, many would chase their heads. He had prepared himself to die at any moment, as well as the marines.

Jon runs into Merry and his clones give him their scrolls. They had robbed the Marines even when they had to attach so many paper bombs. That's why it took so long to complete the plan. Jon knew there were a lot of sea rocks inside the warship. Sea stone is a very rare material and may be useful for it.

Jon comes to Merry and his friends are happy because he is safe. He placed his hollow, scratched armor on his inventory and looked around the ship. Everyone is here and they are fine even if they have injuries. Luffy could not move, so he just lay on the floor and gasped for air.

"Hey, what happened to the explosion?" - Sanji

"Oh, I just put a lot of bombs inside their ship and with the help of gunpowder, the explosion became much bigger." - Jon

"Then why are you fighting the vice admiral? You can blow up their ship right?" - Zoro

"It's for diversion, they'll find my clones if I don't distract them, and they'll attack the island. Anyway we have to go now, they must have backup." - Jon

Some time later, they get a call from the Franky family that they have escaped using a sea train, making them relieved. Then, a large ship from the Galley-la Company came and they were happy. But suddenly they heard a cracking sound and Merry's hull split in two, and her front fell off.
