CHAPTER 124: The Coup

Jon has discovered the enemy's strategy, and sends it to Sabo. He decides the line of communication. Now he only needed to wreak havoc and defeat the higher-ups if possible.

"It's show time!" - Jon

Jon makes 20 shadow clones & exits his tunnel. He and his clone appeared right inside the meeting room.

"Knock knock!" - Jon

His clone immediately spread out, and came out of the room. They pulled out a guard and locked the room. Then the clones spread out in all directions, leaving only 2 clones to guard the door. It happened so quickly that the King, generals, and ministers had no time to react. Jon's speed had improved greatly since he trained with Dragon.

"WHO ARE YOU?" - Minister A

"He's really the enemy. No need to talk, let's get him out!" - General A

Jon looks at his opponents, and sees that the threat is only the generals. There were 5 people, and he did not know if they were really generals or not. He only knew that since they were here, they were important people.

Jon sees some people trying to escape and leaves the room. He had anticipated this, so he used an adamantine chain to isolate the room. Jon knew the adamantine chain was very difficult, and these people would not be able to break it. Still, he would not use the adamantine chain to fight if possible.

A minister suddenly attacks Jon with his weapon. Jon could see the projectile by sharing it, and coupled with his observations of haki made him see the projectile coming in very slowly. Jon cut the bullet and the bullet broke easily.

"Yare yare, don't be so angry. As a civilian, I'll ask you to surrender and allow yourself to be executed." - Jon

"You're definitely not a civilian. General, attack!" - General B

The generals took out their weapons. One uses a broadsword, spear, rifle, katana, and javelin. The ministers also took out their guns and pointed them at Jon. Jon just drew his sword and used his weaponry.

"Bankai! Tensa Zangetsu." - Jon

Jon's sword turned into a metallic black color like the original Tensa Zangetsu. This is why Jon chose the design of Tensa Zangetsu after he trained in haki weaponry. He could change his sword like a bankai, even if it was just his color, and the lchigo bankai was the perfect design.

Jon holds his sword with two hands and attacks the enemy. Jon attacks the first sword user, and he can block Jon's attack. Now that Jon was excited, it seemed like they were good enemies. It had been a long time since he had fought a good enemy.

When Jon attacked the broadsword user, the spear user tried to stab him. Jon dodges the spear, but then the riffle user shoots him. They had good teamwork, but Jon haki's observations could sense everything in this room. A javelin was stabbed towards him, and Jon parried it with his sword, but then the spear also came and he jumped back.

"Heeh, look at this, you are very confident and are trying to fight us alone, but you can only escape." - Minister B

"Don't underestimate him!" - Spear user

"He not only escaped, he could dodge and block every attack, even that from behind." - Riffle User

"He's still not serious." - Katana user

Jon grinned and prepared, then swung his sword horizontally. A flying attack emerged from his sword, and attacked the enemy group. The broad sword & katana user tries to hold on, but Jon suddenly appears in front of the broad sword user and stabs him.

Jon defeats one enemy, shocking everyone. The spear user immediately helped the katana user and aimed a flying attack at the ceiling. The riffle user shoots Jon again, but Jon does not back down. He dodged the shot and ran to the riffle user. The riffle user is still trying to shoot Jon, but he can dodge everything. Jon tries to slash the riffle user, but a javelin approaches him.

Jon lowered his head and turned his body to face the ceiling. Then he swung his sword from below towards the riffle user. The riffle user uses his riffle to block Jon's attack. His riffle broke, but he was able to withstand the attack and only got superficial wounds.

The javelin user tried to stab Jon who was lying on the ground again. Jon simply blinked into his starting position. Jon broke his neck and smirked, it was an exciting fight, and he knew it would be even more exciting. The spear was a devil fruit user, Jon could see it from his red chakra.

"You don't want to use your demonic fruit power?" - Jon

"So you know, I think it's not necessary, but if I don't use it then we'll lose." - Spearman

The spear suddenly brandished its spear into the air. Jon doesn't know what he's doing, but Jon stays alert. Suddenly the spear expanded very quickly, and Jon could barely avoid it. It seemed like his demonic fruit could make him manipulate the size of his weapon or perhaps anything he touched.

"Give him to me, and you protect the King! My abilities are not that good in a closed room, and you will only hinder my abilities." - Spearman

"All right." - Javelin User

Jon said nothing and just stood in his position. Then the spear thrust its spear again, and Jon dodged to the left. Surprisingly, the spear bent and turned towards Jon. So Jon dodged it again, but followed it like a snake.

Jon almost thought that the spearman could control his shape as well. Then he realized that it was similar but not the same. The spear definitely extended the right side, but not the left side. In a sense, this could be called controlling the form.

'It seems his mastery over his demon fruit is rather high. I consider him the strongest here, as they all follow his orders without any objections. So if I beat him, it will be easy to fight the others.' - Jon

It didn't take long for Jon to arrive in front of that spear. Jon immediately attacked with his sword and the spear shrank the spear, except for the blade made of steel. The spear used the steel part as a shield, but Jon just grinned.

Jon cuts from the bottom vertically and he cuts the iron easily. He still could not cut through the steel with a flying attack, but cutting the steel directly with his sword was very easy. Not to mention he had haki, and both his swords were extremely sharp and powerful.

The spear was shot and got a huge slash wound on his body. Jon took this opportunity to punch the spear in the stomach and knock him unconscious. He would not kill any of them, even the ones he had stabbed before were still alive. He wanted to let the citizens take revenge for the clone of these people.

"Now, just you." - Jon

"Damn it, let's attack together!" - Katana user

The katana, and the javelin attack Jon. The riffle user who just lost his riffle, takes the gun and shoots Jon again. Jon just used a geppo and ran in the air, then he sent many attacks flying towards them.

The flying attack distracts them from defending, so Jon goes down quickly. He beat the men and riffle ministers first, their shoots are obnoxious. When he finished with the ministers, a javelin was thrust at him. So Jon just parried the javelin to the side with his sword. Then he hit the guy with everything he had, and dropped him.

Katana users are late to help her friends. Jon blocks the attack and captures the katana with his bare hands covered in haki. There are no haki users among these people, as this is Heaven, where haki is not as well known. So Jon could easily block any attack with his haki.

Jon then kicks the katana user, and the man jumps back to avoid his kick. The katana's still in Jon's hands, so he doesn't have any more guns. Jon now had another sword, so he used it as well. He used a katana to attack the javelin user, and the man also retreated.

Jon also drain the haki in the katana and then cross 2 weapons to the side of his body. He drained Kurama's chakra on both of his swords and made it reddish-black. Jon then swung the sword diagonally towards the katana user who tried to take the broadsword that belonged to his defeated friend.

"Getsuha Jujisho!" - Jon

A reddish black flying attack shaped cross appeared. The man tries to block it, but Jon's attacks increase rapidly with Kurama's chakra. Simultaneously the sword was thrown, and he was one of them slashed by the attack.

Now, there was only a King left there, and he was not strong at all. Jon just drops it easily and then he ties them all up with his new wooden jutsu. Then he pulled back all the adamantine chains that covered the room.

Jon checked outside and his clone was still fighting many soldiers in the castle. Jon just hangs the King, the general and the minister with his chains. He showed it to the soldiers and they all dropped their weapons and cheered.

Jon was astonished to see all these soldiers cheering for their King's defeat. Then they thanked him because they were also under the oppression of the higher-ups. They even got many threats that his family would be killed if they did not follow orders. The soldiers even told Jon where the nobles were hiding, and the people supporting the King.

Jon sends his clones to help the army capture the nobles and loyal followers of King. Then he called out to Sabo after disabling the pointy mushi denden. It didn't take long before it was over.

The Revolutionaries let the citizens decide the punishment of their former King and his followers. Jon & RA left the country after the war ended. They had just left some personnel to help the country after this coup.

"Will WG come and get his country back?" - Jon

"No, they won't even bother, because there are too many countries under them. A small country with no advantage for them like Vira is not worthy for them to sacrifice their troops." - Sabo

"Everything has a price, and this is no exception. wG will only move if they can benefit later, such as if the resources here are large enough for them. But a small country like Vira has nothing to offer." - Koala

"So basically, no oil, no help." - Jon

They return to Baltigo because CP agents can track them down if they stay too long. Even if WG will not help the country, but getting information about RA alone is enough. It would be even better if they could trace RA to the base.

While on a ship bound for Baltigo, Jon continued to train his wooden style. He could make some basic wooden jutsu now, but he was still not as level as Yamato, let alone Hashirama. Jon needs to control his wood style more. Wood style is like controlling water & soil with perfect balance, and difficult.

Jon is still training his wood control by planting trees from seeds. Now he can make a small tree, but his chakra expenditure is high. He wouldn't even be able to use a decent wooden jutsu if it wasn't for the hand seals that helped him control his chakra while making the jutsu.

"Hmm, I think I miss something about the release of wood. It seems like wood is not just water and earth chakras are formed into one. If that was the concept, then everyone could do it as well, not just Hashirama or Asyura. Is it because of the Yang chakra? Because wood and plants have life in them, right? The Yang chakra is the life force." - Jon

Jon pondered about the release of the wood, and he still could not find the right answer. His best guess is that he missed the concept of 'life' from the release of his wood.

'Son, I think it's time for you to study the Natural Chakra (Senjutsu) .' - Kurama

'What?' - Jon
