Jon & Luffy stay away from there to keep them from being within range of the Pacifistas attack. They slipped in a marine formation, and fought with them. But unlike Jon & Luffy who moved away from the Pacifista, because they already knew the strength of the Pacifista, some pirates tried to fight, only to be defeated.

Suddenly, Sengoku orders the marines to cut a live video feed to the nearby islands. Jon only realized now that the war was being broadcast to the public. Sengoku cuts the bait because it wants to execute Ace faster than scheduled. Then, all the live feed denden mushi cameras were turned off, but there was only one left.

Jon had no time to take care of this, so he rushed forward with Luffy. But then Kizaru came and attacked them again. They are thrown back but they are captured by Jinbe. It will not be easy to reach the execution platform.

"Damn it again." - Luffy

"It won't be that easy to reach that place, we already knew it from the beginning." - Jinbe

"They want to trap us here, so the Pacifista can attack us. Now they're just gonna focus on keeping us here." - Jon

"It seems so, the Pacifista attack is terrifying." - Jinbe

Jon looked around and realized that they had not tried to execute Ace. It seems the marines are hesitant because there is still one video feed still airing. Jon knew this was their chance to stop the marines' plan, because the marines still had to maintain their dignity in public. So they can't ruin it by doing dirty tricks and executing Ace ahead of schedule.

Jon sees that Buggy and his foolish followers have a mushi denden. He wants to go there but he has to be with Luffy. So he made 3 shadow clones to take the mushi denden. Jon turns his clones into marines, so they won't be attacked by marines.

When Jon focused on this, he suddenly heard a commotion. He looked back to where everyone was looking, and saw that Whitebeard had been stabbed by his son. Jon was shocked, thinking there was betrayal going on in this war. But the most surprising thing was that Whitebeard could be stabbed easily.

"I never thought that grandfather was so weak to be stabbed so easily." - Jon

"Pops' health has degenerated too much. On his main day, the attack would not even pierce his skin, and he would be aware of the attack even before it happened." - Jinbe was furious.

"In the end, he was still human. Age and health will affect everyone, no one can stay strong forever. Even Whitebeard cannot remain the strongest forever." - Jon

Jon doesn't know Whitebeard or anyone else in their crew, but even he wouldn't believe Whitebeard would do such a thing. As a Yonkou, his pride must have been so high that he wouldn't make a deal with the marines over something like this. He will believe that he can defeat the marines to save his crew.

Marco tells Squard that there is no way Whitebeard would do that. Whitebeard asked Squard who told him the lie, and Squard said that it was Akainu. Now that Jon couldn't say anything more about how stupid the man was, he trusted his enemy more than his friends.

Squard later also says that he did not know Ace was Roger's son. Squard has a hatred for Roger for massacring his pirate crew in the past. Jon understands now that Akainu is using Squard's hatred as fuel, a cunning man.

Whitebeard then gets angry at Squard for holding a grudge against Ace. A boy does not hold on to his father's sins, and Jon agrees with this. Whitebeard raised his hand at Squard, but he hugged him instead of hitting him. He still loved Squard as his son, even though he was foolish enough to be deceived by their enemies.

Jon hasn't understood a father's love because he doesn't have children, but maybe he'll be like Whitebeard too when he has children. She begins to imagine having a child with Vivi and smiles pervertedly. He snapped at her when Whitebeard suddenly used the power of his demonic fruit to break the ice behind him.

"WHOEVER IS AFRAID IS FREE TO LEAVE. IF YOU ARE PIRATE, THEN CHOOSE WHAT YOU WANT TO BELIEVE!" - Whitebeard

Whitebeard then jumped off the ship and went to war. The emperor himself came to fight.

~ Temporary with clone Jon ~

The three clones had turned into sea soldiers. However, this made some pirates try to attack them. The clones just avoided to fight them, and simply ran to where Buggy and his followers were. But when they almost reach the place, Aokiji comes and freezes Buggy, his followers, and even the mushi denden.

The clone stopped in its tracks, and waited for Aokiji to leave. After Aokiji left, they immediately took the denden mushi and searched for a hidden place. They decided to hide in the warship on the left side of Marineford, so they could see the war better.

They run away, and because of the incident Squard stabbed Whitebeard, everyone is distracted and does not see them. Clone A take the barrel, then make a water jutsu to fill the barrel. Then, they put the snails in the water to dilute them. Jon Jave was frozen by Aokiji once too, so he knows how to handle it. It took a while, but the snail was finally able to break free from the frozen state.

After the snail returned to normal, Clone B gave the food they had prepared to feed. The clone asked the snail if he could record the video again, and he nodded, so they placed him to record the video again. Clone C is invisible.

Clone A holds the snail, and clone B makes camouflage to hide its position. Clone B will also guard them if the enemy finds his position. Clone C on the other hand, was inside the ship and controlled the main canons if they were attacked. Now, the broadcast has continued, and they hope it will stop the Marines' plans. Clone B contacted Jon and informed him of the situation.

After Whitebeard himself went to war, the morale of the pirates skyrocketed. Whitebeard's pirates soon followed Whitebeard and paved the way for him. Jon gave Luffy another chakra pill to restore his energy a little. Jon also took a few pills, and also prepared a military ration pill.

The military ration pill could replenish his chakra so that he could fight for 3 days and 3 nights. Chakra pills are usually a weaker version that can be eaten daily to replenish chakra. This is the concentrated version, but it will make him very tired after the effect is gone.

The old grandfather stabbed his bisent into the ground then he raised both his hands. He looked like he was pulling something out of the air with his finger, and Jon could see the tug mark.

"What will he do?" - Jon

"Pose it, don't tell me. SUSPEND SOMETHING!" - Jinbe

Suddenly, the land, no, island tilted, and the sea tilted. Everything was tilted and it seemed like the island and sea were separated into several halves of a circle and slanted in different directions. Jon could not believe his eyes, he felt like watching a movie or anime, but he saw it in real life.

Jon could not say anything, but he was very enthusiastic now. He thought that if he became strong enough, he would reach this level of strength. His heart was beating faster, he was anticipating the day that he would reach this level. His grandfather had weakened, but he was still strong enough to destroy an island alone.
