CHAPTER 125: Senjutsu

'Son, I think it's time for you to study the Natural Chakra (Senjutsu) .' - Kurama

'What?' - Jon

'You need to practice senjutsu, it will make you understand wood & plants better. Plants are part of nature, so you will more easily understand the concept if you can feel nature itself.' - Kurama

Kurama then explains to Jon that if he could use senjutsu, then not only releasing wood, all kinds of chakra transformations would be easier to train. Everything is part of nature, but wood is the deepest, but also the most basic.

Kurama also explained that the chakras come from the God Tree, a plant. The god tree is made from the absorber of the planet chakra, namely senjutsu. Senjutsu is the most basic form of chakra, and is difficult to use.

"Wait, I think Hashirama can use senjutsu because he felt it after releasing the wood." - Jon

"He. He could sense Senjutsu because he could control plants, the life forms closest to nature. When he can control Senjutsu, he can improve his understanding of Wood Element." - Kurama

"Oh, but why can't I feel senjutsu after removing the wood?" - Jon

"Be a more realistic child! You just got it for over 2 months. Even Hashirama can feel it after all these years." - Kurama

"Well, you're right. So how do I train senjutsu? Can you teach me?" - Jon

"I can tell you the basic basics of how to do it. I'm not a teacher, and I can't really teach you well. So I'll just tell you how I did it, then I'll help you stop the side effects.If you lose control of the Natural Chakra you've accumulated." - Kurama

Jon agrees with Kurama, he knows Kurama is essentially the Natural Cakra himself, or at least half of his body is the Natural Cakra. So he was able to gather the Natural Chakra even in his sleep, albeit slowly. A feat that no human has been able to achieve until now. It is because of this that the Kurama in Naruto's body can recover itself even after Yin herself is sealed in Minato with Shiki Fuujin.

Jon then does what Kurama says and remembers Naruto's training on Mt.Mobyoku. Jon meditated and tried to empty his mind. It was easier said than done, he often meditated, but emptying his mind almost completely was difficult, very difficult.

Jon kept trying to meditate and feel the energy of Nature until the ship reached Baltigo. Jon continues his senjutsu training, and he finally feels the Nature Chakra after 3 weeks of practice. He did not have a tool like frog oil, and he could only rely on the release of his wood to sense chakra.

Jon only uses the release of his wood to sense nature's chakra, so his woody mastery also increases. Now he needed to absorb the Natural Chakra while meditating. Kurama explains the process, and Jon tries it.

It took another 1 month to successfully gather the Natural Chakra. It took a long time because not only did he not have oil like that frog, and he also had some duties. Jon is assigned to infiltrate the Underworld headquarters on several islands. So he trained while working, which made his training time reduced.

Jon begins to collect the Natural Chakra while his clones spread out and gather information. Interestingly, when he lost control of the senjutsu he had collected, he started turning into a plant, not a frog. As of now, several buds and wooden twigs with leaves began to grow on his right arm.

Kurama absorbs the excess Senjutsu Jon absorbed. Kurama did not wake him, so he could continue to try to control Senjutsu. Only if it had gone too far would Kurama wake Jon up and make the Natural Cakra leave his body.

"Well, it's not as easy as I thought. It seems Naruto & Hashirama really have a high talent in senjutsu." - Jon

"It's not that you're not talented, but the Natural Chakra in this world is different from the Shinobi World. So it is not strange for you who have the power that comes from that world to have trouble here." - Kurama

"Is that so?" - Jon

"Picture it that way. In addition, people grow faster in stressful conditions. Hashirama could grow fast because he was in the war era. So he must grow fast or he will die in war." - Kurama

"Naruto also trained very fast because he knew Pain would attack Konoha. So he has to grow strong fast if he wants to protect his village." - Jon

"I think you're right, then I'm going to enjoy training this past year, and not stress myself out that I can't train properly." - Jon

Jon trains & performs his spying duties over the next 6 months. While doing his spying duties, he also took the time to hunt some pirates. He used it as an opponent, and a source of money. Initially, he always left his clone to do his job, but he remembered that he had 10 Zetsu, so he used it to do his spy work.

'White Zetsus is very useful, they just need to keep their mouths shut most of the time.' - Jon

Jon had fused chakra on them, so they also had wood chakra. With wood chakra, they can easily travel anywhere undetected. They are like plants, so it is difficult to detect them. But they still had presence and intent, so a strong haki user could actually detect it.

The chakra senses chakra marks, and the Zetsu chakra can fuse with its surroundings. Ninja sensors cannot detect Zetsu because they sense chakra, which Zetsu can hide by their natural properties. On the other hand, haki observation detects intention and presence rather than energy. This is similar to the sensory abilities of Naruto's Kyuubi mode which detects emotions.

Kurama says Jon needs to combine chakra sense and haki observation. Jon has tried it several times, but now he is more focused on the release of wood & senjutsu. Even so, after being able to feel Zetsu's presence with haki, Jon also found trouble. If haki could detect even Zetsu, then his stealth skill would also be detected.

So now Jon is starting to improve again his training in stealth. The training required him to train his chakra senses & haki observations. So he was also seriously trying to combine them. That was his training in 6 months.

After those 6 months, he had made progress in senjutsu and was able to control it. He was still an imperfect ascetic like Jiraiya, but his marking was like Hashirama. Although the marking is very thin and only looks like an outer line of Hashirama. Now he only needed to increase control over Senjutsu in order to enter Sage Mode.

Jon also made progress in his wood release and he was confident he could be at Yamato's level. Senjutsu training greatly helped him feel his strength thoroughly. This made it difficult for him to concentrate on his senjutsu training. Training many things at the same time is very difficult.

Jon Jga has made advances in other things like fuinjutsu, medical jutsu, mangekyou, sword arts, etc. He trained many things at once which made him unable to concentrate on one thing. He wanted to focus, but he knew he needed everything, so he was still learning everything.

Jon uses his clone to train & learn while Zetsus gathers information. This made his training more effective, but it was still too much work. But Jon enjoyed it, because it was every man's dream to be able to use superpowers like him, so he wouldn't waste it. He even drafted many moves from anime or manga, and would try to recreate them sometime.

As his 6-month training ended, Jon had to return to Baltigo, but he wanted to visit Alabasta for a while. She misses Vivi and wants to check out her hidden village. Dragon grants it and Jon goes to Alabasta, but he won't be around for long, as he still wants to continue his training.

Jon arrives in Alabasta and goes straight to Alubarna and meets Vivi. Jon just stayed for a week and they had some dates, and training. Jon is surprised to see Vivi being able to learn some of the altered Rokushiki like Soru, or Shigan & Rankyaku with his staff.

"You seem to be very motivated in

your training." - Jon

"Of course, I won't let you leave me." - Vivi

"You're very competitive. Vivi, I have something for you, well, I don't know if it's something or someone." - Jon

Jon then calls 2 White Zetsu, and they emerge from the floor. Vivi was shocked to see these two Zetsu appear, and they were completely naked. Vivi covers her eyes, but Jon just says it's okay, this Zetsu has no gender, so they don't have any genitals. Slowly Vivi opened her eyes and it was right, surprising her.

"They're not human, basically they're plants with human brains. You could say they are similar to Chopper, but they are plants, not animals. They have low intelligence, but they are strong, I have trained them. So now these 2 will be your guards." - Jon

"Guard? Like a regular guard?" - Vivi

"As far as your preferences are concerned, you can assign them as you please. They can change their appearance like normal people, or can even hide in the uderground. I'll be more sure if they're with you, because they can help you if an emergency occurs and the royal guard can't do anything." - Jon

"You're too worried, but I'm glad you think that." - Vivi

Jon then gives Zetsu 2 orders to always send him any information and gives them Akatsuki clothes. Then one of the Zetsu turned into an unknown girl, while the other entered the ground. They have different tasks, one will stay with Vivi, and one will go around Alabasta or wherever Vivi goes to gather information for her safety. They can always switch tasks.

This White Zetsus is a chat box, but they are not evil. No Black Zetsu had manipulated them for many years, so it was just a white sheet. They follow Jon's teachings and character after gaining chakra and follow him every day. Jon doesn't know if they're really like this, or the system changes their nature, but he won't complain with such good things.

After assigning Zetsu to look after Vivi, Jon checks the progress of his village. The village building has been completed, now only make a security mechanism. Jon has a lot of security mechanisms that he gets from the store. He examined all the mechanisms of each hidden village, but he could only apply some that did not use chakra control or just take his concepts.

Jon also checks out ninja training, which has grown tremendously. The old students have to work around Alabasta to gain experience. There was a lot of new blood as well, they were recruiting orphans in the Kingdom. There were a lot of kids, and Jon was satisfied. It would be easier to teach children than adults, because they are still white papers.

Jon also assigns Zetsu in the village to send him any information. Zetsu can also detect intruders or

a spy who can enter the village.

Still, Jon sometimes gives

all Zetsu's freedom to have fun

thrilled. They are a group of people

so they need to have fun

occasionally.

There was a Zetsu leader whom he named #1 who had a large wooden mouth on his body like a White Zetsu that fused with a Black Zetsu. He also named the other one from #2 to ##10. The two with Vivi are #8 & #9, while the one in the village is #10. #1 to #7 will stay with her, and will help her gather information, he said, so he didn't need to use his clone.

After finishing his business in Alabasta, Jon returns to Baltigo. 5 months before the Straw Hats gather again as they promised in Sabaody. Jon still has a lot of agendas and things to train, so he will use these 5 months to complete it.
