Chapter 10 Breaking Through Without Meditating
Everyone looked greedily at the hot plate on the table. If they had not seen Jiu Shen's strength before, they would have long fought for it.
“Eat now, brother Xu! We can't hold ourselves back for too long. Don't torture us again!”
“Really! Eat it already!”
Upon seeing the appearance of his wrinkled companions, brother Xu hurriedly stuffed one crescent-shaped shrimp into his mouth.
As he took his first bite, a loud crackling sound echoed within the small shop.

The tender shrimp meat melted down on the tongue, filling his tongue with the freshness of the Overlord Shrimp combined with the spicy flavor of the Viper Magma Chilli. Both types of tastes accentuate each other in perfect harmony.
Brother Xu had a drunken expression as two lines of tears dripped down his cheeks.
Boss Scar and the other mercenaries were shocked after seeing brother Xu's expression, but they just quietly stared at the fried Overlord Shrimp with regret.
Brother Xu sobbed as he picked up the remaining fried shrimp and dipped it into the Chilean Magma Viper sauce which exuded a terrifying aura. He then put it in his mouth and chewed it ferociously.
It was unknown whether he was crying due to the spiciness of the Viper Magma Chilli or because of the delicacy of the fried Overlord Shrimp.
He then burped with a satisfied smile on his face. His expression then turned to surprise as he exclaimed.
“This is the true essence in my body! This... It is actually worth more than a few pills added together!”
Brother Xu stood up after feeling himself barging towards a rank 4 Knight Crusader without even meditating.
Even if one consumed a grade-4 pill, they would still have to meditate and direct the true essence of the pill towards their dantian. But brother Xu had not even meditated and he had already broken through the world in one go!
“What the fuck?!”
“He broke through in one go! He actually broke through in one go! Am I dreaming? He did not even meditate.. It..”.
Boss Scar's jaw fell to the ground and his eyes widened. He then glanced at Jiu Shen with a questioning gaze, but Jiu Shen did not even bother looking at him.

“Wine Master Jiu, please give me two orders of dishes.” Boss Scar gnashed his teeth with an expression of pain.
He had only brought a little over four hundred True Crystals and left the rest of his crystals in the Mercenary Guild. He would never have thought that Liu Xiufeng was actually telling the truth about the price of the shop wine.
