Chapter 321 Visiting the Secret Base of the Rebel Army
After Jiu Shen swept through his spiritual perception throughout Morlon City, he gained an understanding of it and he also discovered the strength of everyone living in that city. Even the city overseer, Demon Ancestor Jun, was seen by him! Besides, Jiu Shen also saw the other four Demon Lords, but there was also something that made Jiu Shen a little surprised.
He saw a group of human experts inside Morlon City! There were even Nascent Divine Realm experts among them! However, he also noticed that the headquarters of these human experts was located in a hidden location of the city. Humans all wore long, dark robes that disguised their appearance.
“It looks like these people are the experts from the Rebel Army that Burlock has been talking about. It was already incredible of them to survive in the demon territory and one of them even managed to reach the Nascent God Realm. Looks like this Rebel Army has a capable leader.” Jiu Shen said as he rubbed his chin.
“I might as well visit them and see what they can afford. If their personalities are not bad, then I don't mind giving them a little help.” Jiu Shen said while thinking. He was currently in the demon territory and would be ideal if he were to get help from the locals. With their help, he did not need to personally search for the spiritual plants needed for his wine recipe. Moreover, they could also help him gather more information about the Red Demon Continent.

Inside a large old house, more than a few dozen people had a meeting. The atmosphere was solemn as everyone glanced at the envoy.
“General, everything is calm so far. There was also no major movement in the territory of the five Demon Lords. It's just..” The envoy was a man in his forties and his cultivation had reached the mid-7th century stage. If he was in the Profound Dragon Continent, he could have been an Elder of a large sect, but here, he was merely an envoy.
The man whom the envoy referred to as ‘General’ was a middle-aged man in his late fifties. He was wearing silver battle armor with many wounds. His battle armor had completely covered his body and only his arms were bare. Several newly healed scars and wounds could be seen on his muscular arm and even his face had a huge sword wound that made it look even scarier!
“What's all?” The general frowned when he saw the hesitant expression of the envoy.
When the envoy saw the general's displeased expression, he did not hesitate anymore and decided to tell him what he had seen. “General, I was assigned to gather information about Demon Lord Burlock, and I found something suspicious last night.”
Hearing his words, the general's frown deepened and he gestured for the envoy to continue.
“The servants of the Demon King Burlock seem to be in a state of panic. They also search from house to house as if they were looking for something. I think they may have found our whereabouts.” The messenger said. A nervous expression was seen on his face as he said that.
When everyone within the mansion heard his words, they also became anxious. If Demon Lord Burlock had indeed discovered their presence in Morlon City, it would have been a disaster for them!
The general furrowed his brows and he finally shook his head as he said. “It's impossible. We used the secret route provided by the higher-ups to come here, so there was no way they would notice us. They may be looking for something else, but we still have to be careful. Have all our subordinates limit their movements and make them return before nightfall.”
“Yes, general!” The people inside the mansion answered in unison.
After everyone came out of the large meeting room, the general sat weakly in his chair. His face was covered in fatigue.
“I hope I'm right. Our objective here is very important to our Rebel Army. And it would be a big loss if we failed in our mission here.” The general muttered with gritted teeth.
“We must save the young master by all means! He is the future of our Rebel Army!” The general's eyes shone with determination.

The general felt a gaze look at him and he hurriedly turned his gaze to the side. There, he saw a young man with long silver hair sitting quietly on a chair. However, what troubled him a little was the fact that he failed to notice the other party's presence! If the young man accidentally looked at him, he would fail to find him!
“Who are you?” The general forcefully calmed his speeding heart as he glanced at the young man deeply. The more he looked at her, the more uncomfortable she felt. He couldn't sense the young man's cultivation level at all!
This young man was none other than Jiu Shen sneaking into this old house. He had seen the entirety of Morlon City through his spiritual perception and it was not difficult for him to find this place.
Jiu Shen looked at the general and nodded his head inside. The man was able to maintain his composure despite the sudden appearance of a potential enemy. From this alone, Jiu Shen already knew that this general was a valiant man.
“Not bad. You can actually stay calm in front of me. As for who I am, just visit the lotus building not far from here. When you go there, you will know my identity.” Jiu Shen said in a calm tone.
The general inwardly heaved a sigh of relief when he discovered that the other party had no malicious intentions. With a deep look, he asked. “Honored master, what's your reason for visiting our headquarters?”
“Reason? There aren't. If you need my help, just come to the lotus.” building Jiu Shen shook his head expressionlessly. It was too early for him to tell them of his intentions. For now, he could only give them an unclear answer.
Upon hearing Jiu Shen's reply, the general frowned, but he did not ask any further. Since the other party refused to tell him, it was not good if he forced him to answer. Furthermore, he was also wary of the young man's strength and he didn't want to offend someone as mysterious as him especially since they were still on a mission.
