Chapter 485: Deacon
Yin Long returned to the castle of the Divine Sword Region and she immediately summoned Gu San and Ka Wayan. The two old men were shocked when they saw the sweaty face of Yin Long. They were wondering what this person had met outside so he became like this.
“What happened, Brother Yin Long? Did the Heavenly Paragon Tower ambush you?” The skinny old man, Ka Wayan, asked with a frown.
Yin Long shook her head. He suddenly smiled and said excitedly. “Follow me! You will be surprised by what I found!”
Gu San and Ka Wayan looked at each other in surprise. Yin Long was usually calm, so it was somewhat surprising for them to see her acting this way.
“Brother Yin, what did you find?” The fat old man, Gu San, asked with a puzzled look.
Yin Long grabbed the two old men and said. “I'll explain later! Come with me to the dragon building first! When we get there, you will know what I am talking about! Moreover, this might be a chance for our God Sword Region!” There was a trace of hope in his eyes as he said this. He saw hope when he met Jiu Shen! Although he had yet to step into the Heavenly God Realm, based on Jiu Shen's qualifications, it was only a matter of time for him!
Hearing this, Gu San and Ka Wayan's eyes shone.

Yin Long chuckled at his words. “Don't worry, Brother Gu San. You will be surprised later.” Mumbled with a mysterious look.
Gu San and Ka Wayan felt their fists itching upon seeing his expression.

“A mirror?” The Corpse Lord and Serek both muttered in shock when they saw Theia take out a mirror like a door. It was like a portal leading to a different location, but they could sense that something was different from this thing.
Theia looked at the confusion in their eyes, but she did not bother to explain anything to them. It is a Mirror of Truth and Lies and can read the minds and hearts of anyone who tries to pass through it. If their hearts and minds did not have any evil intentions, they would be able to pass through the mirror.
“This is a Mirror of Truth and Lies. This is your only test. If you pass this test, you will become an armored guard and also a member of our Heavenly Sword Tower! We'll start with you. What's your name?” Theia asked while pointing at Serek.
“Serek? Alright. Go to the mirror!” Theia said with a commanding voice.
Serek nodded his head at Theia. He then slowly walked in front of the Mirror of Truth and Lies. It looked like a Teleportation Array Formation, but the more he approached it, the heavier his heart became. This feeling made him nervous, but he did not stop walking towards the mirror. ‘We were sent here by Wine Master Jiu Shen to test, so this mirror should be harmless.’ He amuses himself.
Lemongrass' heart almost stopped when she was only a few inches away from the mirror. As he stepped into it, he felt as if he was stripped naked with everything about him being scrutinized by an invisible force! The feeling was strange and uncomfortable at the same time, but it only happened for a moment.
When Serek opened his eyes, he realized that he had come out to the other side of the mirror. “What just happened?” He glanced at Theia and asked in confusion.
Theia's cold expression eased slightly as she stared at Serek. He nodded his head at her and said. “Congratulations! You passed the exam!”
“Hah? Me... What?!” Serek exclaimed in shock, but he immediately smiled happily.
“Thank you, Vice Sect Master!”
Theia ignored the grateful Serek and turned her gaze towards the old man, the Corpse Lord. “What's your name?” She asked.
Corpse Lord wants to say ‘Master Corpse’, but that's not his name. It was just a title that people called him. He nodded and replied. “My name is Garyun. I am a Necromancer and Alchemist.”
Theia nodded her head calmly. Although he was a little surprised when the old man revealed that he was also an Alchemist. “Log in to the mirror!” He said coldly.
Garyun nodded his head with a serious look. He looked at the entire process of Serek stepping into this mirror, but he still did not know what this mirror could do. He thought their test would be something difficult, but they were actually given a strange test.
As he drew closer to the mirror, Garyun's face changed. He felt an unknown force sweep through his consciousness! If he described how it felt, it was like being electrocuted for a moment. He subconsciously closed his eyes and when he opened them, he saw the cold-faced Vice Sect Master showing a faint smile. She looked beautiful, but Garyun immediately looked away from her. ‘She may be the wife of Wine Master Jiu Shen ..’ She concluded.
“You also passed the exam! Congrats! Now, I am officially announcing that the two of you will be the newest armored guards of the dragon building and also the new members of our Heavenly Sword Tower! With your cultivation level, you can already become an Elder of the sword tower, but I cannot do that. We have to follow the rules set by Jiu Shen himself, so I can only appoint you as deacons for now. Also, as the new deacon of..” Theia begins to explain their new position and also the work attached to it. Garyun and Serek listened to her with serious faces.
