Chapter 266 The Second Assessment Begins
Prince Dante and his friends stared at the tall tree in front of them. It was so big that they had to look up even when they were still quite far away from it.
“How did Sect Master Jiu Shen put this giant tree inside this place?! Before we entered the room, I thought it was just another training area, but to think it would be this wide ..” Prince Dante said without hiding his astonishment .
“Brother, Sect Master Jiu should have used higher level space manipulation to create this place. I mean, this vast expanse of land was many times larger than the interior of his shop, so this place might have depleted some of its resources. Even so, Sect Master Jiu's strength was still as priceless as ever.” Princess Sylvia smiled proudly as she said those words.
Prince Dante and the others nodded their heads at his words. None of them could remain calm upon seeing this shocking scene.
“I want to know what the second assessment looks like?” Beiming Chu muttered curiously.
“Nobody knows, but it's definitely not that simple.” Zhu Ren said in a serious tone.
The group stopped under a large tree where all the other suitors were waiting. Each of them looked curiously at a tree that was even larger than many gigantic beasts. They were wondering what kind of tree it was that even the famous Sect Master Jiu Shen placed it inside his sword tower.

A series of applause sounds attracted everyone's attention.
They looked at the woman who came down from one of the branches of the big tree and observed her. From the clothes he was wearing, they were convinced that he was an elder from the Heavenly Sword Sect, so their gazes instantly turned to respect after realizing this. None of them even dared to glance at his great figure for fear of incurring his anger.
“Good day, everyone. I am Lu Sulan, the second appraisal supervisor. You are all the people with the highest talents in the entire Profound Dragon Continent. However, not all of you will become disciples of our sect.” Lu Sulan scanned the crowd with a neutral expression.
“Lu Sulan? Wasn't she the sect mistress of the Ice Cloud Sword Sect? How did he suddenly become an elder of the Heavenly Sword Tower?”
“Brother, you are not from the Silver Wing Empire, so you must be unaware of the relationship between Elder Lu Sulan and Sect Master Jiu Shen. Everyone became a little distracted when they heard the origin of the tree, but no one made a fuss when they saw Lu Sulan's serious expression.
“The second assessment will determine your fighting ability. In this test, you will wake up in a place where lower demons are everywhere. Your goal is to collect the tokens that will be dropped after killing the lower demons. Only those who have at least ten tokens will pass this assessment. Is there any question before we start the test?” Lu Sulan glanced at the crowd with an indifferent gaze.
Upon hearing this question, Prince Dante glanced at his friends and nodded his head towards them. “We don't know what might happen in that place, so we should stick together as a group.”
Lu Sulan's expressionless face suddenly changed. He was now wearing a mysterious smile on his face as he replied in a cold tone. “There are no rules on how you will get tokens. Whether you live in a group or live alone is your wisdom. You are each free to do anything in that place as long as you do not kill other suitors. .Remember, everything that happens in that place will be visible to me and even Sect Master Jiu Shen might observe what will happen, so give everything you have.”
The other person raised his hand but his words immediately made the other suitors worried.
“Can we rob their tokens from other participants?”
Lu Sulan was quite surprised when he saw who was asking the question. It was actually a girl wearing shabby clothes. The most shocking thing about him was the apathetic gaze that came from his emerald green eyes that shone with a bright luster.
Lu Sulan smiled at him and did not give any answers. He just waved his right hand and said. “Hopefully succeed, everyone. I'll wait for your return..”.
The bodies of all the suitors became sluggish as Lu Sulan said those words. They could see the scene in front of them slowly warping, making them feel dizzy and nauseous.
Lu Sulan summoned a gentle breeze and made everyone lie down in a comfortable position.

A tall young lady with long purple hair suddenly appeared in front of him, shocking Lu Sulan.
“Young Meili Mona, what brings you here?” Lu Sulan asked as he looked at this beautiful woman.
Long Meili glanced at the fainted suitor on the ground before turning her gaze to Lu Sulan. “I want to see what happens inside the Illusory World.”
Lu Sulan smiled as he took out an object from his outer space ring. It was a small metal ball made from an unknown material. He then poured out his true essence to activate it.
The large screen was then shown to the two women. On this big screen, they saw what all the applicants were doing.
Long Meili shifted her gaze from the screen and scanned the applicants lying on the ground using her spiritual vision. His gaze then stopped on a pitiful-looking young girl. “You're there..”.
After which, he turned his gaze back to the screen.
