“What?! Someone tried to kill my daughter?!” Balmond's face darkened as cloudy air smoke gushed out from his nostrils.
The envoy looked nervous as he glanced at the ground. He did not dare to raise this head at this moment or else he might be killed by the Demon Emperor out of anger.
“Quiet, Brother Balmond. From what I know about Wine Master Jiu Shen, he should have sent someone to secretly protect His Majesty, Cornelia. You've seen his subordinates in the lotus building, right? Ordinary killers cannot defeat them. !” Yue Bo patted Balmond on the back as she calmed the raging demon down.
They had just returned to the store and this was the first news they received. That's not good! Their originally happy mood caused by the recent breakthrough suddenly turned grim.
Balmond took a deep breath as he stared deeply at the kneeling envoy. He sent this person to secretly follow Cornelia.

Balmond heaved a sigh of relief after listening to his story. Fortunately, Wine Master Jiu Shen had long known the plans of the two noble families and he had even sent three experts in the Void God Realm to protect his daughter in secret.
“Wine Master Jiu Shen is really wise! He even predicted that this would happen.” Balmond sighed with admiration.
Yue Bo also nodded in agreement. Indeed indeed! No one could escape the eyes of Wine Master Jiu Shen!
“Sister Yue, I will go to meet the three beasts that are protecting my daughter. I want to thank them directly.” Balmond said before he went to the lotus building. Yue Bo immediately followed him.

He was not surprised by the man named Aren and the dragon girl Long Meili. However, he would never have thought that the fat white cat that always slept in Jiu Shen's arms was actually a top expert!
After entering the store, Balmond ignored the greetings of the customers and observed everyone inside. His gaze then stopped on a purple-haired man. Seeing him, Emperor Balmond's eyes twinkled and he immediately walked towards him with a smile.
“Thank you for saving my daughter last night, Mr Aren!” Balmond grabbed Aren's shocked hand and shook it with gratitude.
Aren immediately withdrew his hand while shaking his head. “Nothing. Sister Ice asked Sister Meili and me to go with her, so you should thank her instead.”
Hearing this, Balmond immediately said. “No! Nah! I still have to thank you, Mr. Aren. I will also thank Lady Ice and Lady Meili for their help.”
“The man almost broke my hand..” Mumbled Aren while rubbing his sore hand.
Not long after, Balmond found the two women and also thanked them. He even took out his treasure and distributed the resources evenly between Aren and the two of them.
“Taste better now?” Yue Bo asked the Demon Emperor while laughing out loud.
Balmond nodded his head. His eyes then narrowed as he muttered. “The dogs actually dared to send assassins to chase after my daughter! I'll kill them soon!”
“This is a great opportunity, Brother Balmond.” Yue Bo suddenly said.
Hearing this, Balmond's ears lifted as he looked at Yue Bo in confusion. “What do you mean?”
Yue Bo smiled as she replied. “After you announce the ascension of His Highness Cornelia, those two noble families will definitely not stay silent. If my guess is correct, they might even start their rebellion during His Majesty's coronation ceremony! Once that happens, we can kill them in one fell swoop! Of course, this is just my guess and maybe they did something unexpected. Still, this is a great opportunity! We can place experts in key areas during His Majesty's coronation ceremony!”
Balmond's eyes glowed after hearing Yue Bo's words. It seemed like he had underestimated his new human brother. This person was actually a hidden tactician!
