Chapter 113 Jiu Shen's Strength
Everyone stared speechlessly at the quiet night sky. If not for the dilapidated buildings around them, they would have believed that everything that happened before was just a nightmare.
The huge dragon that was about to destroy the entire Beltran City was nowhere to be seen. Everyone only looked at the starry sky and the bright moon that was emitting a pale white light.
“Your Majesty defeated that dragon!”
No one knew who started shouting, but everyone immediately burst out in cheers and excited chants as they loudly praised the emperor's victory.

The cries of the citizens echoed throughout Beltran City and anyone could feel the relief in their voices.
Emperor Elyk who was flying towards the imperial palace heard their praise and he could only sigh sadly. In the end, Jiu Shen still chose to remain anonymous despite having done great deeds for the Silver Wing Empire, but why did he choose to stay away from the limelight? Even the emperor did not know the reason, but the former would never forget this great favor.
Not less than a few minutes, Emperor Elyk arrived at the imperial palace. Just outside the palace, he saw four guards surrounding the fourth prince and the fifth princess with resolute gazes. They had just walked out of the imperial palace, so they were unaware of what had happened. Of course, they had heard a loud rumble in the sky, but they still did not know what had happened.
The three oldest princes had their own palaces, so they were not inside the imperial palace, and only the fourth prince and the fifth princess were among the sons of the emperor.
“Hah? Where's the dragon?” One of the guards spoke in a confused voice. His old face was painted with confusion.
Defender Duanmu and the others furrowed their brows into a frown as they looked at the peaceful night sky.
“Where is the imperial father?!” The fifth princess clenched her fists as she looked at the sky with a dejected look. Her cheeks had long been soaked by her own tears as she sobbed.
Everyone was affected by his emotions and they could not hold back tears. Even the normally cheerful fourth prince now covered his eyes with the sleeves of his robe.

They heard the familiar sound of footsteps making them subconsciously turn their heads in a certain direction. There, they saw a middle-aged man with gray hair. His imperial robe was now in tatters and his exposed skin even had some burnt marks, but the stern expression on his face remained unchanged.
“Dad!”
“Your Majesty!”
The fourth prince and the others cried out in delight after seeing the drenched figure of the emperor. Although his appearance was now in a mess, the majesty before him was still clearly visible.
Emperor Elyk heaved a sigh of relief and smiled warmly after seeing their worried expressions.
The fifth princess swooped down on her father figure and hugged him tightly while continuing to sob. “Huhu, good thing you're safe, dad.”
Emperor Elyk's eyes turned soft and he couldn't help but rub his daughter's hair gently. “Mn, dad is back now. It's all over.”
The Emperor glanced at him and turned his gaze to the clear sky. He looked like he had a million words to say, but in the end, he shook his head after sighing.
The fourth prince and the others were confused, but they no longer asked because the emperor refused to reveal the truth.

Above the very middle part of the Endless Forest, a huge crack suddenly opened. Behind the gap, one could see a completely dark void that gave the otherworldly atmosphere and profoundness.
Suddenly, a dragon head emerged from the crack, and moments later, the dragon head was forcefully removed from the crack, causing the dragon to let out a terrifying draconic cry.

Before the crack in space disappeared, the figure of a man came out from there. His expression was cold and filled with a burning killing intent that made the surrounding ferocious beasts immediately run away from the scene.
“Man, why did you stop this Saint Dragon from destroying that ugly kingdom ?!” The dragon spoke with a terrifying voice filled with overwhelming anger. Although it showed a wrathful look, it also looked at Jiu Shen intently. This human was actually capable of controlling the space element! That was why he remained cautious in front of Jiu Shen.
Jiu Shen ignored him and disappeared from the previous place before reappearing above the dragon's head. He then raised his fist and unleashed an ordinary-looking punch that produced a circle of ripples in his path!

In Jiu Shen's right hand was the bloodstained dragon meat. He sniffed it as he slowly burned it in his hand. “I have not tasted dragon meat for millions of years.” Mumbled with a nostalgic voice.
Although his voice was not very loud, with the sensitive hearing of the dragon, he could still hear his words clearly.
Jiu Shen was actually cooking his meat right in front of him! How shameful!
The thick scent of flesh smelled in the air, causing the dragon's nose to twitch in anger.
How hated! This human actually cooked this Saint Dragon's meat!
The dragon shouted in his heart, but he could only look at Jiu Shen with an angry look as Jiu Shen ate the cooked dragon meat in his hand. “Not bad! Although your dragon bloodline is not pure to the point of being considered trash, your meat is still a little tasty.”.
