The Wine Shop of Eternity

The Wine Shop of Eternity
Chapter 138 Simple Sword Attack

Night fell, but the two youths were still in the horse position. They were Yang Zenke and Han Sen. Since both of them were doing exercises twice as much as the others, there was still an hour left before they could rest.

Gritting his teeth, Han Sen glanced at Yang Zenke with great difficulty. “K-Sister Which, can you survive?”

Yang Zeke nodded solemnly and replied. “Mn. You should not speak like that to master before.”

Han Sen laughed bitterly when he heard that. “What has been done is done. No need to think about it. Also, I still have to thank the master for his mercy. If our master was someone else, I would have already died.” Han Sen said and shook his head.

Yang Zenke was surprised by his reply. He did not think that this young man named Han Sen was actually quite open-minded. Despite this, Yang Zenke remained silent and focused his attention on himself.

Just then, the two youths suddenly saw the silhouettes of several individuals who had come towards the fighting platform of the ferocious beast battle arena.

Jiu Shen who was sitting in his chair with his eyes closed remained unmoved despite already feeling their presence. He was still in the process of searching for the best sword technique for his subjects and he realized that it was actually quite difficult to choose from the many that he remembered.

Theia, Lu Sulan, and the others stared curiously at the two youths who were in a horse position before they turned their gazes at the other youths who were resting or eating spiritual fruits.

“Are they slaves brought by the emperor a few days ago?” Can Ye ask inwardly, but since the beast battle arena was quiet enough, his voice still echoed within the building.

Theia glared at him before she pointed at Jiu Shen whose eyes were closed. “Diam.”

Can Ye immediately closed her mouth after seeing the look on Theia's face. He was very afraid of this young lady, so he immediately kept quiet and just stared silently at the group of young men. He was curious as to why his master decided to train these children and looking at all of them, they were youths under the age of nineteen.

Theia walked in front of Jiu Shen and bowed respectfully as she spoke. “Master, I've brought everyone here as per your instructions.”

Jiu Shen's eyes opened and he nodded his head at Theia. “Good. You all come here.”

Upon hearing her words, Theia gestured for the others to come over.

Seeing their confused expressions, Jiu Shen let out a smile that shocked all of them because it was rare to see him smile, but recently, their master seemed to be smiling more than usual.

“At first, I just wanted to teach Lu Sulan and Can Ye, but I changed my mind. I consider all of you as my people, so I will remain on everyone's side. Now, I am calling everyone to come here because I will pass on my sword technique. However, the understanding of your sword is very flawed so I still have to help you understand the basics first before we can continue.” Jiu Shen said as he stood up from his seat.

Hearing his words, the eyes of Lu Sulan and the others immediately sparkled in excitement. They knew that Jiu Shen was an extremely powerful expert with a formidable cultivation level, so they were eager to learn something from him even though it was only the basics.

“Can you, although you are not a swordsman, the way of the sword and the way of the sword are closely related to each other. The only difference between them is their use, so you don't have to worry about this and just listen carefully.” Jiu Shen looked at Can Ye as he said those words. The latter nodded his head at his master to show his understanding.

The dragon tattoo on Jiu Shen's right arm suddenly lit up as it slowly flew out and formed an ordinary-looking black sword.

“Take your sword and keep your distance between yourself.” Jiu Shen ordered with a serious look.

Everyone immediately followed his orders and took out their weapons. The others had beautiful-looking swords in their hands while only Can Ye had a large blade like a machete. He smiled awkwardly after seeing their strange gazes, but he did not remember it because he knew the true strength of this blade!

“Watch it well.” Jiu Shen raised his sword and carried out an ordinary sword attack. Everyone studied his movements deeply, but they failed to feel anything special about it. But then…

Bang out!

One hundred meters away from Jiu Shen, a stone pillar that was two feet in diameter was suddenly cut into two horizontally.

Everyone's eyes widened in shock after seeing him. They only saw Jiu Shen brandishing his sword without any exaggerated action, but it actually cut the stone pillar in half! What an incredible sight!

Among them, only Theia had a look of thinking as if she had recalled something from her memory, and at that moment, a trace of regret, melancholy, and nostalgia flickered in her pair of beautiful eyes, but he hurriedly hid it, afraid that Jiu Shen would see his reaction.

“Master, how do you do it?” Lu Sulan had an expression of anticipation in his eyes as he asked Jiu Shen. Even though he had already seen Jiu Shen's strength, he was still excited at the thought of learning swordsmanship from her.

Can Ye and the others sharpened their ears as they stared at Jiu Shen's calm and composed gaze.

Without making them wait for long, Jiu Shen replied. “That sword attack may look ordinary on the surface, but that's not the case. My first lesson for all of you is Sword Understanding.”

Seeing their confused gazes, Jiu Shen smiled lightly. “I added My Sword Comprehension in the attack, but since your understanding of the sword is too shallow, none of you can distinguish its true power from that simple sword attack.”

“Understanding Sword... I've never heard of it.” Can Ye muttered as he scratched the back of his head.

Sir.

Theia hit the back of her head, making Can Ye fall to the ground first.

Jiu Shen ignored them and continued. “To learn Sword Comprehension, one must have a deep knowledge and understanding of how to use the sword. However, one could only gain enlightenment in Sword Understanding through continuous battles and wars. The sword is a weapon for killing, and only on the battlefield.will your true potential be revealed.” Jiu Shen told of his understanding of swordsmanship, and only on the battlefield, but he only told them the basics to strengthen their foundation.

Lu Sulan, Can Ye, and the others were very engrossed in his discussion, and they did not even realize that there were already some youths who joined them to listen to Jiu Shen's teachings.

Jiu Shen did not stop the children from listening to her discussion. In fact, he deliberately stopped from time to time to allow these youths to consolidate his words in their hearts.
