Jiu Shen glanced at the City Lord with a calm look. He then gestured for her to sit in a nearby chair.
The City Lord felt nervous as he sat down in front of Jiu Shen. He had come here in the dragon building every day because he could not cultivate properly. The reason for that was because he knew about Jiu Shen's secret. He had other powers outside of Hard Rock City! At first, he thought that he could sell this information to a top sect, but when he witnessed Jiu Shen's strength, he immediately buried the thought.
“I heard you were looking for me..” muttered Jiu Shen indifferently. When he saw the anxious gaze of the City Lord, he already had some guesses as to why the man was here.
“Grand of Wine Jiu Shen, like this.” The City Lord glanced left and right to check if someone was listening to their conversation.
“No need to worry. I've isolated the area around us. Even if the Heavenly God Realm used its spiritual power to eavesdrop, they would not hear anything, so you can talk freely.” Jiu Shen suddenly said.
The City Lord smiled in embarrassment as he said. “Grand Wine Jiu Shen, I came here to promise that I won't tell anyone about your relationship with a power outside of Hard Rock City. Besides, I also came here in hopes of becoming your subordinate.” He looked at Jiu Shen nervously as he said the last sentence, but the man's expression didn't even change, so he didn't know what Jiu Shen was thinking…
“Dragon buildings are not short of people. Moreover, you are still too weak to be an armored guard here.” Jiu Shen's words were like a stab directly into his chest, but the City Lord had already expected this rejection.
“However, I can give you a chance to reach the Supreme God Realm. Once you reach that level, you can become the armored guard of this dragon building.” Jiu Shen's next words made the City Lord very excited. This was the promise of a peak stage Heavenly God Realm expert!

Jiu Shen nodded and gave him the token. “This is my Heavenly Sword Tower sign. This is the sect I created recently. You already know their location, so go out there and show these tokens to the people there and let them know that I sent you to test.”
Jiu Shen turned his gaze towards Serek and gave him another token. “Because you are here, you can go with him to test.”
“It... i-..” Serek at a loss for words. He wanted to say something to Jiu Shen, but the man had already left. He glanced at the token in his hand and kept it.
“Congratulations, Serek! Looks like we will be co-workers in the future!” The Corpse Lord patted Serek on the shoulder with vigor.
“Tuan Kota ..” Serek feels a little emotional.
“Come! Don't look at me like that. Haha! Let's go!” The Corpse Lord chuckled and pulled Serek out of the dragon building.
