Chapter 553: The Consequences of the Battle
‘If we move with an army of this size, our flying speed will decrease because we have to match the speed of the slowest person. If only we had the Teleportation Array Formation here, it would be great ..’ Jian Wang thought to himself.
The distance between the Desert Region to the Central Region was quite far. It would be fine if he moved alone, but with millions of soldiers following him, it was difficult.

Suddenly, he heard someone laughing behind him.
That's Asmodeus.

“Where did you get these ships?!” Jian Wang was shocked when he saw the flying ship that Asmodeus had taken from his outer space ring.
“Just chat and get everyone on board. These little toys were powered by God Stones, so the maintenance was quite expensive. You have to cover half of the travel cost.” Asmodeus patted Jian Wang on the shoulder with a sly smile.
“What the fuck is- Ays. Fine.” Jian Wang shook his head and told everyone to get on the flying boat.
And so, their journey began.
The intimidating fleet of flying ships made the ferocious beasts immediately flee. No one dared to stop them along the way and they soon reached the Central Region. However, what they saw made their eyes widen like plates.
Scenes of chaos and destruction.
There are no buildings left.
What kind of terrible fight is going on here?
The broken walls of Celestial City finally entered their sight. The destruction here was even more severe than in the last cities they passed through.
“Is that a gold tower?” Someone pointed to the crumbling golden tower in front of them.
Half of the tower is gone and a large pile of debris is strewn around the damaged tower.
Hundreds of large craters were visible in all directions.
The faces of Jian Wang and Asmodeus turned solemn as they gazed in a certain direction. Everyone followed their line of sight and immediately, they saw a figure flying towards their fleet.
It was a man wearing a white robe covered in blood. His face was expressionless as he stared at them.
“Jiu Shen, it looks like you finally got your revenge.” Jian Wang glanced at the man with a complicated expression on his face. He was somewhat skeptical about Jiu Shen's strength, but the man proved him wrong.
There was also a small part of him that did not want to admit that Jiu Shen was now much stronger than him, but he did not show it to his face.
Jiu Shen smiled at her words. “Dewa Swords Jian Wang, thank you for protecting my people as I go ..”
Jian Wang shook his head hearing his words. “I don't even have to do anything. Your men defeated Lao Gou's minions in their own strength. And please release his honorary title. You've become Celestials like us. No need formalities.”
Jiu Shen nodded his head towards him before he turned his gaze towards the man hovering beside Jian Wang.
Jiu Shen stretched out his hand and said. “It's good to see you again, Celestial Emperor Asmodeus.”
Asmodeus grabbed Jiu Shen's outstretched hand and held it firmly as he replied. “Call me by my name, Jiu Shen.”
For some reason, Asmodeus did not dare to glance at his eyes.
“Good. Sometimes you have to rest, Asmodeus. You have worked much harder than us for the last million years.” Jiu Shen truly admired this man. He alone sealed the entrance of hell for millions of years. It was something he could not replicate even with his current strength. After all, he did not possess Asmodeus' expertise in Array Formation. At most, he was only at the same level as Ai Chen in that category.
Meanwhile, everyone was patiently waiting for the three of them. Most of the soldiers stared at Jiu Shen. They were wondering what had happened to his battle with the Celestial Emperor Lao Gou.
Finally, a beautiful figure slowly floated towards the three Celestials. Everyone was shocked by his courage because his actions might somehow enrage the Celestials. However, the three Celestials did not rebuke him for interrupting their conversation. Jian Wang and Asmodeus even greeted him with smiles on their faces.
“Well, she's Wine Master Jiu Shen's lady, right? So understandable..”.
“Indeed.”
Everyone whispered amongst themselves.
Theia ignored Jian Wang and Asmodeus. His gaze focused on Jiu Shen's face. His cold gaze melted as he smiled gently.
It was a smile that made everyone sigh.
Jiu Shen glanced at Theia with an affectionate look. He then pulled her into his embrace, ignoring the envious gazes of all the men.
“It's good to see you're fine..” He muttered while listening to Jiu Shen's heartbeat.
“M N.”
Cough!
Jian Wang deliberately let out a cough and said. “How about you tell us what happened first? Everyone came here to know about the outcome of your battle with Lao Gou.”
Theia reluctantly left Jiu Shen's embrace and stood beside him. He was also curious about the details of their battle.
