Chapter 17 Burn!
Inside the imperial palace of the Silver Wing Empire, the fourth prince and Defender Duanmu kneeled respectfully in front of a middle-aged man who was sitting on the throne. Although his appearance looked middle-aged, he could already be considered one of the oldest experts. He had a heroic aura and the majestic aura of an emperor.
The man sitting on the throne was the current Silver Wing Emperor, Elyk Silveria II. He is a man of extraordinary strength and charisma. He was also the strongest expert of the empire, an 8th rank mid-level heavenly cultivator.
“What is your purpose in asking for an audience with this emperor? Make sure this is something that matters most or you two will receive a penalty no matter what your relationship with me is!” The emperor's voice was calm and unhurried as if he had undergone countless changes in life. He glanced at the two people kneeling in front of him with a bright light.
The fourth prince was someone he valued greatly for his talent. It was even on par with him during his youth. If not for his young age, he would have crowned him as the first heir to the throne. As for Defender Duanmu, he was one of the top experts of the empire and also his friend. Moreover, he was very close in breaking through towards the 8th ranked Divine Realm.
The emperor was looking forward to the growth of the two men. That was also why he was so strict on them. He did not want them to be complacent just because of their relationship with him.
“Your Highness, I was with the fourth prince yesterday as usual. We entered into a small shop in one of the less crowded areas of the capital city.” Defender Duanmu recounted their experience in the store Jiu Shen. He also told the emperor about Jiu Shen's unexpected strength and cultivation.
“Most importantly, the wine and dishes sold in this store are able to me the true essence of someone like me.” Defender Duanmu looks excited when he says that.
The emperor's eyes flickered for a moment when he heard the last sentence of Defender Duanmu. His lips curved upwards and formed a thin smile. He tapped his finger on the armrest of the throne and he seemed to be thinking hard.
“You mentioned that this Jiu Shen person does not want to conquer our kingdom, how honest do you think his words are?” The emperor asked in a serious tone. After learning that there was an expert who might be stronger than him staying in their kingdom, he was a little worried. The minds of the top experts were difficult to comprehend. He did not know the purpose of others, and he did not believe that he was there just to sell wine and dishes.
Defender Duanmu frowned and shook his head lightly. “I cannot understand this person's heart at all, Your Majesty. He seemed to be unrivalled in cultivation, but then he only wanted to sell wine. But of course, I'm not sure about everything. The best action is to keep an eye on this store and avoid clashing with them.”
The Emperor nodded his head calmly. “Your suggestions are indeed our best choice. Currently, maintain a friendly relationship with the store. Most importantly, make sure not to allow anyone from the imperial palace to provoke that wine lord. We were unable to provoke such an expert especially during this.”
The faces of Defender Duanmu and the fourth prince looked grim upon hearing the emperor's words. They knew that he was talking about suspicious movements from the nearby empire.
“Ya Your Highness.” Defender Duanmu replied solemnly.
“You two can go. And when the right time arrives, I will personally visit that store.” The Emperor waved his hand and gestured for the two of them to leave.

Inside Jiu Shen's shop, Mu Sheng and his cronies were still besieging Theia. They smiled pervertedly while looking at her beautiful body.
“Small girl, you may not know this, but Mu Sheng's brother is closely related to the Liu Family. If you follow it, you will only get countless benefits.” A mercenary was persuaded with an evil smile.
Mu Sheng nodded with a pleased smile. “It's true. If you follow this master, no one in the empire dares to provoke you carelessly.” After saying that, Mu Sheng stepped forward and approached Theia.
“Theia, you don't have to kill these little fries. You can do anything to them, but don't kill them.” Jiu Shen with her eyes still closed said in a calm voice.
Everyone inside the shop stopped their movements after hearing that.
Boss Scar and his friends were not too surprised, but Mu Sheng and his subordinates laughed out loud.
Mu Sheng, in particular, glanced at Jiu Shen as if he was looking at a fool. “Are you the Wine Lord, the owner of this shop? I heard rumors that you are a top expert. Haha! A kid like you claims to be a top expert, do you think your grandfather Mu Sheng is stupid? Haha! ” Mu Sheng and his subordinates laughed out loud in succession.
Boss Scar and his companions closed their faces after hearing their ridicule. They looked at Mu Sheng and his subordinates as if they were dead people.
“You were given a chance to live, but you chose to put death on trial. I feel ashamed to have the same cultivation level as him.” Boss Scar shook his head with*******softly while Liu Xiufeng and the others nodded in agreement.
“Theia, I changed my mind. Do whatever you want with them. But make sure not to dirty the store with their dirty blood.” Jiu Shen spoke in the same calm and composed voice.
“Yes, sir,” replied Theia gently, but her eyes were ice-cold.
Mu Sheng and his subordinates had no time to laugh before their bodies were thrown out of the store by an invisible force.
“Burning.” Theia calmly said as she raised her tiny right hand.
Following his voice, a huge fire column enveloped Mu Sheng and his subordinates. Screams of sadness and pain can be heard for three seconds before extinguishing. When the flames receded in ten seconds, the bodies of Mu Sheng and his subordinates were no longer visible. Only the scorched ground was left with a few handfuls of ashes scattered with the wind.
Boss Scar's heart almost jumped out of his chest after seeing that scene. The same could be said for Liu Xiufeng and the others.
