A series of footsteps made the general recover from his shocked state. He put on a calm look and glanced at the entrance of the meeting room.
Several soldiers entered the room with anxious gazes.
“General, did something happen? We heard you scream a moment ago.” A soldier asked worriedly.
The matter regarding Jiu Shen was too sudden and mysterious and it was not good if he told his subordinates about it. They would only become more agitated if they learned about it. With that in mind, the general shook his head and said in a commanding tone. “Nothing. Go back to your post and strengthen our defenses! Tell the patrolling guards to stay alert!”
“Yes, general!” The soldiers replied while saluting.
After the soldiers left, the general stepped out of the room and looked at the deep red sky. “Who is he?” He muttered with a contemplating look.

In the residence of Demon Lord Burlock, dozens of demons came out of his mansion and they were seen in a hurry. All of these demons were servants of the Burlock Demon King and at this moment, they all wore anxious expressions.
“Where is the Demon King? He disappeared without notice. This has never happened before.. Where is he?” The demon wearing heavy metal armor muttered with a frown. This demon is Burlock's right-hand man, Helios. He had a pair of wings and a muscular body. There was also a sharp horn on top of his head.
“Commander Helios, we still haven't found the Demon King. Perhaps, something bad happened to him.” A demon soldier reported to Helios.
Towards that, Helios' face darkened and she immediately glared at the demon warrior. “A brash fool! Other than the Demon Ancestor, no one else in Morlon City could harm the Demon King! Not even the other four Demon Kings!” He slapped the demon warrior, sending it flying over tens of meters away.
“Group of garbage!” Helios shouted furiously.

“Meimei, why did you expel those people?” Xiaoxiao asked the girl beside her as she chuckled. She is a girl with short black hair and a pair of brown eyes. She looked like a normal teenage girl if not for the blue scales on some parts of her body.
Meimei let out a cold snort as he said with disdain. “Those people are too rowdy. They are obviously here to create trouble. Their ugly faces also made my mood bad. Hmph!” Meimei had shoulder-length green hair and his pair of chestnut eyes were sparkling with arrogance.
“What if they come back here with more men?” Xiaoxiao asked with a smile.
“Back? Then let them come here! I'll have them clean the garden outside!” Meimei replied cynically. He was confident in his own strength and the demons that had come earlier were not even as powerful as Burlock, so how could they threaten him?
“This sister, how about you let me handle my men?” Burlock who was standing at the side suddenly said. A crooked smile hung on his face as he stared at this pair of mischievous little girls. The two of them had actually beaten up his subordinates right under his nose, but out of fear for Jiu Shen's strength, he could only watch the two weak-looking girls hit his men.
“They are your men? Why didn't you say it earlier? I wouldn't beat them if I knew that they were your people.” Meimei scolded her with a straight look.
