Aren and the Purple Hairy Fire Eagle tribe glanced curiously at the city below them. This was the first time they were this close to Beltran City, so they were curious about their surroundings.
“The old devil is an existence in the Origin God Realm, but his master did not even blink an eye when the old fool released his destructive aura. Was his master in the legendary V-Void God Realm!?” Aren muttered excitedly to himself as he followed behind Jiu Shen with glittering eyes. He praised himself for being smart or else he would waste the opportunity to serve this powerful human.
As he was thinking about the future of his tribe, Aren suddenly heard Jiu Shen's calm voice.
“We are here. Comeondown. As for your tribe, let them rest outside that building.” Jiu Shen said as he pointed to the lotus building below them.
Aren's gaze followed where Jiu Shen pointed and his jaw nearly fell when he saw the large and charming blue lotus. It was like eye candy among the trash heap of this city. That's really beautiful!
“B-what building?” Aren foolishly asked while staring at the lotus building with a surprised expression.
Jiu Shen grinned as he looked at her astonished expression. He then slowly descended towards the lotus building with his hands behind his back.
When Aren saw Jiu Shen's descendants, he immediately ordered his tribe to rest near the lotus building. He then quickly followed Jiu Shen. When they were already at the entrance of the lotus building, Aren's eyes almost glared at the sight of tens or even hundreds of spiritual plants around the lotus building. It was astonishing how such a precious spiritual plant lived so livelyly in the demon city.
“Master, this ...” Aren stabbed Jiu Shen with his finger and pointed to the spiritual plant.
Jiu Shen chuckled and shook his head as he said randomly. “That's just a few houseplants I've been casually planting to make the store look more refreshing. Oh and, don't let your tribe eat it. I have something more nutritious for wild beasts like them.”
Aren nodded his head stiffly.
“Teacher's back! Welcome back, sir!” A bright and cheerful voice came from inside the store followed by a series of quick steps.

When the beautiful and intricate door was partially opened, a charming face appeared carrying a dazzling smile that could capture one's heart.
“Halo, sir! Hehehe.” This beautiful girl was the mischievous Xiaoxiao.
“Welcome back, sir!” Two other beautiful girls appeared and greeted Jiu Shen with respect and respect. Their eyes glowed as they greeted him.
Just a second later, a huge and terrifying figure walked behind them.
‘The Demon King?!’ Aren glanced at Burlock vigilantly. His muscles stiffened as he prepared to attack.
“Welcome back, Wine Master Jiu Shen. Glad you're here. Demon Ancestor Jun and the four Demon Lords came early looking for you.” Burlock said in a depressed tone.
Aren who was preparing to attack calmed himself down. It seemed like this demon was on their side.
“I know. Don't worry about them. They won't make any more trouble here.” Jiu Shen said as he patted Burlock's shoulder.
Burlock looked at Jiu Shen suspiciously and asked. “What do you mean, Mr Wine Jiu?”
“This man here is Aren. He was a newly ascended New God Realm ferocious beast. He would work here as a temporary guard, so be sure to treat him well. He also brought along the Purple-Hairy Fire Eagle tribe. Burlock, you will be in charge of their food.” Jiu Shen introduced the man behind her.
Aren lightly lowered his head. “I'll be in your care.”
Of course, he had reason to be respectful. Other than her adoration for Jiu Shen, the three girls and the demon were much stronger than her! Although he was not afraid of them, he did not want to offend them as they would be his comrades from now on.
“Hello, Aren! I'm Xiaoxiao. Don'worry. I'll teach you everything you need to know here.” Xiaoxiao smirked wickedly.
Seeing her smile, Aren felt a chill running down his back.
“Friends, we welcome you here. You can call me Burlock and I am one of the five Demon Lords of Beltran City, but now I serve Wine Master Jiu Shen. Come on, let me wander around the building.” Burlock patted Aren's shoulder warmly. Her warm words contrasted sharply with her demonic face, leaving Aren at a loss for words.
“Good.” Aren nodded his head reluctantly.
Seeing that, Burlock glanced at Jiu Shen and waited for his approval.
Jiu Shen waved his hand and nodded his head. “Go.”
After seeing that the two men were leaving. Xiaoxiao, Meimei, and Blue pulled Jiu Shen to a seat and asked him a series of questions about his recent trip.
Jiu Shen did not want to disappoint the enthusiastic girls, so he answered their questions calmly.

“General, we have secured young master!” A dark-skinned man with one hand laughed happily when he heard a voice in his communication crystal. Behind this man were a dozen human figures with different levels of injuries, but apart from their pitiful figures, a relieved smile could be seen on their faces.
The one-armed man looked at the communication crystal in his remaining hand and said with fierce resolution. “Leave Beltran City immediately! We'll buy time for your escape! Treat our family well, brother!”
The man behind the communication crystal was stunned when he heard the general's words, but he still replied as tears streamed down his cheeks. “Yes, general!”
The general sighed when he heard his answer. He then shattered the communication crystal and glanced at his subordinates regretfully. “Sorry, brothers, but we have to buy time to escape young master.” His voice brought a bit of sadness to his men.
“General, we are happy to sacrifice our lives for the safety of young master!”
“Really! We are ready to face death, General!”
Looking at the resolute face of his subordinates, the general felt a hint of pain in his heart. ‘I don't want such loyal people to die under my watch, but how can we live in this state!’
Just then, he suddenly recalled a mysterious figure. The general's tired appearance became refreshed. “Brother, it looks like we still have a chance to live! Come on, follow me to the lotus building!”
His subordinates were surprised, but they followed the general while looking around them.
